Codepen helps in practicing web development without even using the local space. Apart from that Codepen is faster than other online editors. There are many benefits of using Codepen, but there is also a problem. In Codepen till now we can not make multipage website. It is entirely for practicing, not for doing projects. I can easily add any plugins from the internet using it's cdn without any hastle. Write Html, Css or JS with on the go and get your results instantly. What is there not to like. While I love codepen very much the only problem I have is with the privacy option. I agree on the part for the site to earn money from it's users, however restriction on the most basic stuff like showing and hiding finished work in my opinion is a bit much.
