## Arc Reviews
  ### 1. Great platform to find Freelance gigs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario V. | senior software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Arc?**

I've used Arc successfully to find Freelancing work and it's been a pleasure to work with the team they've put together. They answered all of my questions and everything happened on the spans of time they mentioned.

Also I think their vetting process is pretty thorough and fair.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

If I had to point something out, I'd say that due to the distributed nature of the team it sometimes takes a day or two to get a reply, but honestly it hasn't bothered me as I've had answers every time.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dealing with the administrative part of being a freelance software engineer, such as billing and getting gigs.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Mario! It's great to hear about your experience on Arc and we're very happy to hear of your success. We do try and provide the best experience possible but we know there's still room to grow so we'll try and improve our response times. Thanks again and have a terrific day!

  ### 2. The value of a real human interaction in world of AI.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Arc?**

From the very beginning of my interactions with Arc.dev, I could tell that the individuals answering my questions were human beings. They gave me suggestions on tailoring my resume to showcase my experience correctly. And they even offered me online mentorship; with again an actual human person.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

There is always room for improvement. My subjection is simple: keep your humanity as a priority, and you'll have an edge over AI based platforms that seem willing to discard candidates a son as possible.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applying to tech jobs is easier than ever. A good pay job on tech may have hundreds of applications within a few hours of posting. Arc.dev becomes a proxy that helps both companies and applicants to connect with each other with a higher chance of match. Once a company has shown interest in my services, I am certain that they will carefully review my profile.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hello, and thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us! We're very happy to know that your experience felt personal and human and that our resume suggestions were helpful. If you have any ideas on how we can further improve, please don't hesitate to email us at support@arc.dev any time. Thanks again!

  ### 3. Great place to look for part-time freelancer or fulltime jobs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cleober F. | Senior Software Engineer Python Django, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Arc?**

Arc has a great pool of clients, and connects you with them, by getting hired gets you full support and always pay your reported hours fast.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

To be really honest there isnt much to not like, maybe the opportunity of not being able to make a career within them, since your hire will be intermediated by them and the are not a consultancy agency with relocation and etc

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing softwares

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Cleober! We're very delighted to hear about your experience on Arc. We do strive to offer a great pool of clients and provide excellent support. That said, we're always looking to make the experience even more successful so thank you for your feedback! If you have any additional thoughts, please feel free to reach out at support@arc.dev!

  ### 4. Lots of high quality, well-matched job listings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P S. | Independent Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Arc?**

Their dev-focuesed resume guide is the best. It substantially improved my resume, and I've been at this for 20 years.
Steady stream of job postings, both startups and est. businesses.
Personalized job match summary is helpful.
One-click apply, FWIW.
They are actively building out new features.
If you qualify for featured status, ask your agent to review your profile.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

The one-click apply process is a black box, currently. I did not hear anything, whether postitive or negative, on 95% of my applications. I was a little worred my applications were never making it to the hiring companies. After talking to Arc, they thought I may have priced myself too high. Which is confusing, because my asking salary was within the stated salary range for most postings I applied to.
Their system might be inflating the salary range shown in the job titles.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applying for full-time jobs. Improving my resume quality.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Ryan! Thank you for your detailed review. It's so good to hear that our resume writing resource could help, as well as providing a continuous stream of job postings, new features and more. That said, we are looking into improved ways of updating developers on their applications, and do feel free to reach out to support@arc.dev if you have any other questions!

  ### 5. Nothing but great things to say about Arc

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen H. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Arc?**

Arc opened the door to a world of exceptional developers from diverse backgrounds. By expanding Stem's precense to countries like Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil, we gain access to developers with strong technical skills and unique perspectives. All of our Arc hires have been instrumental in driving innovation within our company. One hire, in particular, was even promoted to Engineering Manager.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

I would love if Arc provided candidates' emails up front. If it's a matter of security, perhaps candidates' emails would initially stay hidden but then revealed once a potential employeer matched with them. RIght now, I have to DM the candidate directly and then wait for them to respond before I can set up the first interview. I have to have their email address so I can set up interviews and track their information in our applicant tracking system).

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to quickly scale our development team, but still prioritize hiring the most cost-effective and diverse candidates. Through our partnership with Arc, we were able to cut down on recruitment costs and bring on team members who have made a lasting impact on the business.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Kristen, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We've also enjoyed assisting with the 4 hires made so far! Your feedback about what can be improved is much appreciated -- it has been shared with our team to see how it can be incorporated to future processes/features!

  ### 6. Pleasant development experience with helpful assistance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Arc?**

I like that they provide someone to act as the middle-man between developers and clients. Consistent communication and accountability are hard to achieve with remote developers, so having a dedicated manager who is already built into the price is great.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

They want you to have long contracts, which makes the service not ideal for small projects. I like having a relationship with a developer, like Arc allows, but I do not always have something for them to do. I wish it was more freelance or singe job based rather than a number of hours.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting me with with a compentent developer, and ensuring the project is completed to my satisfaction

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Spencer! Thank you for your review. It's good to hear about your experience and your suggestion for improvement. Though we've shared that with our Team for future consideration, feel free to reach out at support@arc.dev to discuss this more to help you choose the best way forward on future projects!

  ### 7. Scaling up with arc.dev

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Arc?**

What I like best about Arc is its ability to curate a vast network of top-tier developers, offering a diverse pool of highly skilled and qualified candidates for various tech roles. The platform's personalized approach to matching companies with developers based not only on technical prowess but also cultural fit and project requirements ensures that businesses find the perfect fit for their teams. The user-friendly interface and efficient communication tools simplify the hiring process, streamlining interactions with candidates and saving valuable time. Moreover, Arc's exceptional support team adds to the overall positive experience, always ready to assist and guide throughout the entire hiring journey. With Arc, finding exceptional talent for scaling up our operations has become a seamless and rewarding process.

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

While Arc's curated talent pool and personalized matching process offer significant value, the cost factor might deter some businesses from fully leveraging the platform's capabilities. It is crucial for organizations to carefully assess their hiring requirements, budget constraints, and the potential return on investment before committing to using Arc.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Arc has been an invaluable asset for our project-based scaling needs, especially when uncertainty looms over long-term maintenance requirements. With the flexibility to engage developers temporarily and the support of Arc's team, we successfully scaled up our operation, achieving project success without being tied down to long-term commitments.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi there! Thank you for taking the time in writing a thoughtful review. We appreciate the honesty and feedback, and will take your feedback into consideration!

  ### 8. Great platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fermin D. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Arc?**

It's a great user-friendly platform where you can choose the right job for you

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

I think there is always more to improve over time. Either way, you can see the information about the companies, and the industry they belong to.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I consider the main reason why ARC has solved the necessity to offer job opportunities to freelance employees and connect them to companies that are looking for talent in a simple manner.

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

We're very happy to hear that our platform offers a great user-friendly experience with a simple process to help freelance developers connect with hiring companies. **What do you like best about Arc?**

**What do you dislike about Arc?**

Sometimes it's a slow process to get a job.

**What problems is Arc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They helped me a lot with the engagement with the client

**Official Response from Arc Team:**

> Hi Alan! We're very happy to hear how Arc helps you.
