What do you dislike about Codementor? - Initial session with a mentor needs a lot of things to set up for mentees - one must set up a payment account/card, zoom, raising session/freelance request etc. - First live coding session is confusing for most of the mentees as they don't know how to use the platform. - Platform commission is on the higher side from the mentor perspective - up to 22%. I am a mentor on Codementor, and at the same time I use Codementor as mentee as and when required. - As a mentor I am able to build a strong profile, good client base and good network of professionals. - I am earning good here doing part time freelance projects and live coding sessions. - I am learning same time because as a mentor I must keep myself upto dated with the latest technologies and client needs. - As a mentee, I can look for help anytime with other mentors. One feature i disliked was it requires high internet connection speed for sharing screen with mentors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. If personally i have some problem with code lets say my code is not working, its buggy , i would show the code to codementor by screen sharing, video or text chat. The mentors would solve my problem by debugging the code and also fixing it. Furthermore, the mentors would also explain your mistake in order to avoid it in future.
