Using this tool it has the IDE streamlines and the simplifies the php development process.it contains the autocomplete features like php,html,JavaScript and the CSS using all these we can get the necessary help information . In this tool there is an Php debugger that allows you to validate your code and it automatically detects the current server settings and configured the corresponding files in order to use the debugger. Codelobster in my opinion is one of the most complete IDEs that exist. The best thing is that it supports multiple languages such as HTML, C, Java, Python, Javascript, PHP and others to mention. I like that it has an integrated code debugger. The user interface is what every developer needs in their development environment: order, color and compatibility. Software Developer Computer Software Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) 12/26/2017 "Best PHP IDE Out There!" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Codelobster? It has a simple to use interface. You can create project files and also has autocomplete built in (obviously if it's an IDE). There are multiple plugins in the professional version. The syntax it supports currently is PHP 7.x, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. The price is about mid-level (compared to other PHP IDEs) but they do it have for cheaper sometimes on software deals site. I found with other IDEs your having to pay to upgrade to the next "major release" (which actually is not much different than the previous version) and with CodeLobster, you're only paying once. As an example, you can rename files but you can't copy, move, or delete them from within the IDE. To do this, you have to open Windows File Explorer, copy/move/delete it and then go back to CodeLobster and reload the project (causing a one-step process to turn into a three-step process). On top of that, if you reload a project after updating Composer packages, it sometimes crashes (maybe a way to manage Composer from within the IDE?). Their website is also a bit outdated. There are the plugins for it but they're all from CodeLobster and it'd be good if third-parties could create their own plugins for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. II like how it does PHP, JavaScript, CSS, etc highlighting right out of the box. I like the different themes so depending on the place I'm at, I can change how it looks to make it easier to see with just a few clicks. Being able to pair this with Filezilla and locally editing individual files is awesome. I love how it will automatically put the ending curly bracket when you put down an opening one. We do Joomla development and we have used the Joomla plugin to create the skeleton of Joomla components and Modules in the past and the skeletons are pretty useful for people starting out in creating custom Joomla extensions from scratch. Every time I upgrade (install a new version), all my settings get reset and I have to go in and re-set everything back up. This includes any custom theme colors, tool bars, panel positions, closed panels, etc. Basically it resets all the settings every time you upgrade to a new version. The only recognition for Joomla calls is if you are in a Joomla Project created inside the premium plugin. I'd like to be able to add include paths or reference paths in general to make it easy to work on multiple sites easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Codelobster: Play with the free version and Trial before you buy. The free version has a lot to offer right out of box. It helps us not make careless errors like missing a semicolon on the end of a statement or a missing bracket. inside the same file, it helps us make sure the variable is spelled correctly and has the proper case.
