We use Codat to enhance the monthly performance monitoring of our portfolio companies. The standardised formatting makes it easy to navigate and it is visually easy on the eye. It always takes me a while to find the handy table where you can find all the elements you can pull from each accountancy package. Would be handy if there was a link on the footer or it sat on its own webpage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using Codat's documentation it is really easy to integrate with the Codat API, start connecting to an accountancy provider and pulling back any of the 15 available datasets (including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtor and Aged Creditor reports).

The Codat API allows gives the user a lot of flexibility and control. For example the user of the Codat API can change the URLs for webhooks, the sync frequency and the priority of datasets to be synced. It goes without saying that Codat provides a brilliant product. Across the last 10 months, myself and my team have been using Codat’s APIs as part of an AI & Machine learning project to help small businesses. They’ve allowed us to work across a multitude of accountancy providers without having to worry about the discrepancies in the data and, most importantly, they’ve been on hand to answer all of the questions we’ve had to ensure that we’re getting the most out of their product. They welcomed us during face to face meetings and gave us more than a reasonable amount of their time, to answer questions and get recommendations.
