I'm a designer and CAD drafter, so I'm always looking for CAD software alternatives that are more budget-friendly and easy to learn and use. I've been using it for 2D details on my construction documents and floor plan design so I need something that is fast and doesn't overcomplicate simple tasks. What a great surprise! After the first couple of days, I knew where everything was already without having to navigate through confusing menus. The user interface could be a little more appealing but it's just cosmetic, but I do like the arrangement of the tools and menus. Did not use the software long enough to find something I cannot workaround. This CAD software is very effective and time-saving. I have a small CAD team we using this for the last few months and it's really improved our work performance. using CMS IntelliCAD in apparel pattern-making. all buttons are on another level and the Ribbon and Access Taskbar is easy to find and use.

The best aspect part about the CMS IntelliCAD is how easy it is to learn how to work with it. In my point of view it's affordable and totally justifies the investment!

Wow! I never thought I could ever get so powerful alternative to AutoCAD and that too so affordable. I am a seasoned user of AutoCAD since 1998 and have recently resigned for my job and opened a small company. It was a nightmare for me to afford AutoCAD license for my small team of 3 draftsmen. I was looking around for an alternative and came across CMS IntelliCAD. Following are things things I liked the most.

1. The best part of the program for me as a user is its interface and all the commands are 100% AutoCAD commands so it was a seamless transition from AutoCAD to IntelliCAD.

2. The best of of it for me as an investor into technology is it's extremely affordable price when compared to AutoDESK AutoCAD.
