I have never used Clumio until I started at this company. This was their backup solution, so I was the one who had to create the backup documentation. Clumio made it easy to follow and understand where to click and how to find the backups for complete backup and incremental. The restoration process is just as easy. The built-in reporting could be a bit more robust. If we could edit or create manual reports, that would be great or get alerts via email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how it is straightforward to use; the dashboard and its simplicity is some of its best features. For backup products, this one is a simple A to B. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing here for me to dislike. Updates are frequent - the downside is that there is currently no support for Azure but I'm aware that it is in the pipeline for hopefully a 2022 release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Price for the features available is fantastic. Continual improvement in the product. They've added some features we've requested as well.

Only limitation or issue we've had is the max VM size when you get up into the terabytes level which prevents us from using it for some of our larger VMs.

Security for s3 buckets is awesome and with rds security coming up, It really helps organizations protect that are sensitive to their businesses. Interface is really user friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be nice if more services can be supported at a faster rate so organizations can protect data across lot of other aws services within the enterprise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Airgap - Clumio brings us a separation between backups and production. They control the backup account and we cannot delete any of the backups.

Cost - Deduplication causes the solution to be more cost effective than other backups which are just snapshot managers

SAAS - You don't have to spin up backup servers and maintain them

Portability - Databases use true SQL backups instead of RDS snapshots. Servers use true file level backups

Monitoring - They proactively open a ticket and let you know if something is not getting backed up correctly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We stared using the RDS feature when it was in beta and have been very happy with it.

Clumio is rolling out new features at a quick pace and here are two that would be nice to have in the product and I believe are on the roadmap:

- More advance reporting for a backup that consists of many different AWS accounts

Very simple to use and works great. It is like using a Managed Service but with total control. It gives you the best of both worlds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can backup/restore to on prem ESX hosts but I can't backup/restore our Azure cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not enough services for Azure. We migrated from AWS to Azure and now CLumio builds for AWS first. We are waiting for more Azure tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

hmmm, one feature that's missing is to be able to select what Security Group I want to attach to my restored isntance. Clumio support said that they are working on it though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
