ClubExpress offers exceptional customer service. We have never had to wait for a response for more than 48 hours to any question or concern we've raised. Their team is extremely helpful and accommodating and is willing to go the extra mile to problem solve and troubleshoot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many "kinks" that ClubExpress needs to work out with its website building widgets, communications (emailing) system, volunteering module, and otherwise. Unless you can write code, you'll be using a drag and drop website builder, which in most cases still allows for lots of aesthetic creativity. However, the CE web development options and customization are a bit behind in comparison to options like Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress. Their website builder is, overall, fine; but I'd say it takes quite a bit of effort to make the pages look pleasing to the eye and their options for customizing things like placement of images and text are extremely limited.
Their volunteering module is somewhat unusable if you have opportunities that are ongoing. It requires you to pick start and end dates that correlate to volunteering "slots". This function is horribly limiting.
Their communications (emailing) platform is not my favorite. It's drag and drop just like MailChimp or Constant Contact, but it's quite difficult to standardize formatting, especially in regards to font. When the emailing gets pushed out, we've experienced many situations where what we were seeing on the editing side looked infinitely better than what was officially disseminated via email. I'd say that their emailing platform is not easy to use (and the system is very difficult to figure out how to create mailing lists and import contacts) and that it's my least favorite function of the system overall. It's free with our subscription, which is the ONLY reason we have opted to use it so as not to incur additional charges from MailChimp on a monthly basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
