There is an abundance of online help, and explainers, to take someone with limited knowledge through the process of adding a domain and website to the server. Support was available on the very rare occasion when I floundered. Even setting up an email (using Rackspace) was plain sailing. My Developers found it easy to get access and the service has been robust and consistent with no downtime or other issues. Cloudways' own staff kicked in to help when there was a server change. This was done in a way that was considerate of my time and finances. Overall a great experience that has added to my confidence and knowledge. We can customize each WordPress server to the needs of the client. We can scale and add resources very quickly or instantly in some cases. We can report on server health. WordPress instance is usually very fast - faster than previous server environments. Migration to a Cloudways server is very quick and easy with their plugin. Support and documentation is top notch. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** The email option with Elastic could be improved - albeit it still works well when it's setup properly. I'd like to see more pre-approved add-ons like reporting, site analysis, and potentially auto-AI server optimization. I think the cost for auto-update plugins is a little expensive but it is worth it for certain clients, but not all. **What problems is Cloudways solving and how is that benefiting you?** Am able to host multiple clients while adding individual resources to them in a cost effective way. ### 31. The difference is made by their architecture that includes packages like Elasticsearch and expecially Varnish that can speed up the slowest sites, this solved me a lot of problems with bad engineered legacy projects. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** Sometime the first level support is not very satisfiying but this is not much different from other hosting services, so I can't say it is a so bad point. The .bashrc file is not customizable (at least on AWS EC2 instances) **What problems is Cloudways solving and how is that benefiting you?** Varnish solved a criticity with a not optimized website. They had WPML+Wordpress+ACF plugins, all together genereted very complex queries that slowed the database and leaded to frequent connection timeout errors with 2 or 3 simultaneous connections. ### 44.
