**Reviewed by:** Alberto S. | Android Tutor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Our training team finds Cloudhare's virtual machine service to be ideal. In our training sessions, we can quickly and efficiently provide an indeed stable environment to many newbies, providing our implementation managers an outstanding first experience using the product. It has also been beneficial for our team to use Cloudshare's templates to design VMs. Lastly, the customer support is outstanding. We have always encountered a professional and courteous support team at Cloudshare. You will find that these individuals go above and beyond to assist you.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

In terms of dislikes, I cannot say much. I have not encountered any issues when setting up blueprints/environments, either through exploration on our end or support has helped us resolve them.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

This service is recommended since it allows users to set up environments in minutes and benefit from cloud computing speed, even from distant locations with insufficient bandwidth.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer the managers a virtual training environment during our software implementation phase while they get instructor-led sessions. By providing my colleagues with cloned virtual machines, Cloudshare can help them get a touch of the product at a high level and be able to experiment without worrying about manipulating valuable records in their environment.

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Easy to use, easy to create external IPs or access web server outside the cloudshare.Tools and environment details very helpful for training.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use cloudhsare for Virtual and Onsite training and to demo my products. Usually for demo or training we need 3-4 machines. To manually setup such an environment can take days and could be too expensive. With Cloudshare I have created multiple templates for different types of training and it takes just 5 minutes to launch training and provide access to students. Even for product demonstration it takes just 5 mins to setup the environment.

  ### 33. CloudShare is exactly what I was looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul C. | Ecosystem Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

What's not to like? Everything has been seamless from the POC to now our uses in Production. The platform accomplishes exactly what we needed and has saved me a ton of time in the 9 months I've been working with them. The support team is super helpful, and very quick to address questions. Our account team has been great at understanding our somewhat unique use case and tailoring a solution to fit our needs.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Not really many negatives at all. There have been back-end infrastructure issues once or twice, which resulted in slower-than-normal performance, but it's rarely due to the CloudShare product, and can usually be attributed to greater network issues with ISPs.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

I evaluated all the big players (Ravello, SkyTap, Quali CloudShell) in the space and CloudShare had the best features, at the best price, with the best sales process experience.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CloudShare to provide consistent development environments to our technology partners. For this purpose, it's perfect because we are able to create sandbox environments with our software already installed pretty much instantly and then pass that access on to the Partners. Another benefit we see is the ability to track time spent in each environment, so we are able to gain insight into how active our partner developers are.

  ### 34. Great solution for demos and pilots for customers but a bit pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The ease of use and simple deployment for external team members and customers.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Definitely too expensive if your company doesn't always need to provide pilots to customers.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we used it to provide secure access to our software to potential customers.

  ### 35. Great tool to create and use virtual labs for training.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

CloudShare is a great tool to create and use virtual labs for training or demos. It increases the probability of potential customer’s buying a product or paying for virtual training. It is easy to recreate complex IT environments, just as claimed by the developers. CloudShare easily creates IP addresses outside the server or simply access the web server. It can easily create integrate identity management without any external identity management system. The developers were also very considerate about the security of the users, which indeed makes a buying factor for the product.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Even though the software is so well built that all areas have been covered already, however depending upon geographical location users from some countries may face a backlash when the speed is concerned. So, it will be very considerate of the company to address the matter and try to solve it. Apart from that, there is some room for improvisation in the sharing of the live environment.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Cloudshare helps in managing Virtual training environment with live online course, Webinar etc. This is the easiest way to gain knowledge and grow.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare indeed is a value for money software. For any company providing online training or product demos to put their customers at ease, CloudShare like is a one-step solution. Increasing the productivity of the company and taking care of the users’ experience. It's a great solution for cost saving and make convenient environment for user In virtual environment.

  ### 36. Best option today to make, share and reuse virtual labs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Itai W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

among the things I liked -
ease of use - cloudshare platform is super easy to learn and manage.
integration with identity management - we had to have two sets of users, one defined with OKTA, another one for standalone users, with no external identity management system. cloudshare provided that for us easily.
policies - cloudshare provide the best options to create, enforce and monitor usage policies to make sure the budget is properly spent.
advanced usage monitoring and analytics.
excellent support!

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

lack of "live environment" sharing capabilities.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

it's an excellent product which is very easy to use and covers all aspects related to virtual lab.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

providing demo for customers and prospects. labs for training (internal, customers, business partners).

  ### 37. Using Cloudshare for Demos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry L. | Solutions Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Easy to deploy templated environments for customer demos, training labs, and internal test cases.

I get the most value from demoing solutions with integrated virtual devices from our technology partners to our prospects in an easily repeatable manner.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Some of the network setups could be a little simpler to use, but it certainly gets the job done. Once you get used to it, its pretty straightforward.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Give it a go, works really well for us and our training and SE communities. We're able to onboard all the virtualised partner technologies we need to effectively demo our solution to our customers and partners.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use Cloudshare to to demonstrate our software's capabilities with various customers to great success.

Having the ability to build virtual environments allows us to cater demonstrations to be more inline with our customers real world networks, making the demo much more tangible to them. In some cases we have avoided needing to run a proof of concept based on the encironment we have created in Cloudshare, giving customers access to the environment to test the solution.

In addition, our training department created virtualised labs in Cloudshare to facilitate hands on learning through our various courses. Each of these labs is templated and spun up on demand for the different certification tracks. Customers report good exeriences with the labs, and we get a lot of positive feedback from the courses. It helps to be able to demonstrate real automation with "real" devices, and cements the understanding of our product.

  ### 38. a must have tool for remote training, onboarding and showcasing any IT infrastructure solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nir M. | Senior Solutions Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

what i like best is the ability to run free with the demonstrated solution, how easy it is to just start over if you brake things, it really invites the trainee or user to get their hands dirty!

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

cant thing of anything specific i did not like using the platform

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

We are now looking at the cloud based solutions for demoing GCP and AWS workloads as well

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

our product is very expensive and is hardware based so it was very hard to provide internal users and potential customers with lab resources. with cloudshare we can give anyone as much lab time as they want and allow them to use multiple complicated scenarios that would have taken us a very long time to set up in the "real world".

  ### 39. Solid Training Environment Provider

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The tools available to easily create virtual environments, make changes, create classes and interface with students makes this a really good tool for providing "sandbox" training environments for student labs.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Periodically, certain classes I have taught had performance issues. Some of them have been related to sheer number of classes, which is outside of CloudShare's control; however, I have had some where network issues have caused my students to be unable to perform the labs and have forced me to extend the environments (which adds cost to the overall training expenses that we have).

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use it for training, which in that case provides easily duplicated training servers where students can perform lab activities. I also will sometimes use it for customer demonstrations of our products since we can easily spin up a working application server.

  ### 40. Good virtual environment to deliver training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JP Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The accessibility; you just need a stable internet connection.
Fast response from the tech support team.
Continue maintenance to the tool.
Real-time updates when the system is down

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Sometimes, it is not possible to adjust the zoom on the environment, making it difficult to work there.
Some other times, the students virtual machines get disconnected, with no clear cause.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

As I mentioned, sometimes our students have 2 common issues:
-The zoom/resolution is fixed. This causes the users some inconvenience when viewing the actual Virtual Environment: The tool bars are too big, leaving too few space to actually work comfortably

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deliver virtual training using CS environment.
Having the needed tools already loaded on the blueprint makes this really ease

  ### 41. Great Success with CloudShare

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Flexibility of the platform is excellent. Easy to spin up and add any number of users to. maintaining and versioning capabilities also a plus.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Performance issues during peak use times. While it mostly functioned during these times, it did cause some frustrations during peak use times. Far better performance than the competition we have also used.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving a variety of users access to predefined work environments. It eliminated having to work around challenges associated with link speeds, bandwidth. I especially liked the ability to log into a users session and assist in real time.

  ### 42. Highly functional cloud environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Being able to generate many environments and have easy control access to each environment. Software configuration is only necessary once or occasionally

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Loading time sometimes is not stable. Occasional disconnection although not often. The issue is not due to internet connection as users have often ran connection check and still encountered the issue.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide fully working environment with software preconfigured for training purpose with the least amount of hardware and software maintenance required. We can quickly deploy these environment to users enabling us to deliver remote training and not requiring software configuration on the students' personal machines.

  ### 43. CloudShare Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The ability to save blueprints and mass deploy across multiple regions is great and ideally fits our business needs

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The performance is questionable at times and going full screen has not been as easy for our customers as we had hoped

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

It's a great tool. Definitely worth at least a trial

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling out single-use training images in CloudShare has been wonderful. The easy of making new blueprints and saving them for deployment in training is great

  ### 44. Good but supprot is slow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley A. | Solution Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I enjoy cloudshare but when support is needed it is always slow to turn around

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The speed of Cloudshare support is way to slow.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

I would recommend cloudshare as long as the support is upgraded to answer faster.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer training

  ### 45. Class environment automation at its best

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Blueprint Management is extremely powerful. Creating a Class is really quick and easy.
Automation save us a huge amount of time .

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

An audit log. It will very useful for us the ability of knowing who (Project Managers and other members) did what. Things like adding new project members, creating new Classes or time extensions, among many others, should be very clearly stated in a log. Alarms regarding this kind of events will also be very useful.

Maybe a more flexible and detailed system for assigned privileges to Project members would also very helpful.

Another improvement will be the ability of extending classes for a specific number of days. Currently we just can extent for the same days of the assigned Policy.

The lack of a workflow, with approvers, to create a Class.

Occasional performance problems.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Development of new Blueprint for Class environments.
Automation of the creation of Class environments for education.

  ### 46. Good Software - Great Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

As a long time road warrior (trainer), I love not having to lug around extra equipment on-site and creating a Class is easy.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

IF I run into issues due to a clients' environment it's hard to get any immediate support. Although running through troubleshooting on my own using the support knowledge base has been very helpful. I would like to be able to email the attendees from Cloudshare to update them on changes or where to find training material as well as give the login info of the class.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

If you have been a long time trainer with Extra Equipment, this software is a game changer.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated above, I love that I don't have to travel with extra training equipment (ie Hyper VM, extra cords etc) Being able to have multiple training sessions set up and accessible at the drop of a hat is a huge time saver.

  ### 47. We are very happy with Cloudshare!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The support team is pure awesomeness! They are always quick to reply and and respond with a full and concise answer after thoroughly investigating whatever issue we were having, helping to resolve the matter in a timely manner and helping us identify human errors to proactively prevent the same problems from recurring in the future. They are truly a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Some actions in the system are a bit time consuming, such as duplicating a snapshot to another region. Also, it would be more convenient if we could reuse existing class by changing the dates if, for example, we are running two consecutive cycles of the same course. Also, would be good to be able to send invitations to project members, and not just end users.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

This is a great solution and we highly recommend it to any organization looking for a robust and reliable virtual lab solution

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company's technical training is highly dependent on virtual labs in online and classroom training, to provide students with hands-on experience using our products. With Cloudshare we can provide them with valuable learning opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to deliver. Also, our experience with Cloudshare has been a million times better than the previous Virtual Lab solution we were using. Lab deployment and maintenance are much easier and day-to-day work with the labs is much more reliable.

  ### 48. Cloudshare

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Ability to run separate environments for each student in a training class

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Configuring Cloudshare can be confusing and unable to download VMs locally

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivering training to multiple attendees using separate environments

  ### 49. Cloudshare integration with Tufin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Straight forward UI with a well-organized environment. All required functions in one place (classes, users etc). Boots fast and well-integrated with our LMS.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Nothing much but I do think you can minimize the tabs on the left.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The labs were down due to Docebos API fault (our LMS vendor), the team managed to patch it quickly and efficiently without involving (super quick response). After they managed to bring up the system, they introduced the long-term solution with all explanations and stages. The team was in contact all the time, support was extraordinary so as response time.

  ### 50. I use CloudShare to build environments for student training labs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie E. | Senior Course Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The ability to deploy default templates and snapshot them for specific deployment blueprints.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The connectivity to environments can be very slow even when using local ssh sessions.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The University department use CloudShare for their training labs. The benefit from my point of view is the ability to quickly and easily develop and deploy these environments.
