## CloudShare Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Environment Setup, But Pricing Could Be Smoother

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mustapha H. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I find CloudShare valuable because it allows me to spin up realistic environments with almost no effort, which is crucial for my work. The ready-made templates are a big plus, letting me launch environments without manual configuration each time. It's incredibly helpful for testing integrations, demonstrating builds to clients, or providing new engineers with a safe practice space. The platform remains stable even with multiple environments running at the same time, and the isolated environments ensure that nothing spills over onto other projects.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The pricing model can weigh on a budget, and scaling up brings costs that climb with every additional user and feature, so growth is harder to justify than it ought to be. It also depends entirely on a steady internet connection, and any network trouble brings a session to a halt. During an important client demonstration, that is a real vulnerability.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare lets me create disposable environments quickly, avoiding infrastructure delays. I can test client integrations without impacting live systems and onboard new engineers smoothly. This boosts project momentum and maintains production safety.

  ### 2. Powerful virtual training lab platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica B. | Solutions engineer, Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

It has an outstanding ability to provision multi VM virtual labs and training environments in mere minutes. The template blueprint feature is excellent and enables our technical trainers to create production quality software environments without any manual configuration. This over the shoulder viewing feature is a great value when conducting remote training sessions as it allows instructors to see and interact with all students' workspaces at once.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Specialized legacy operating systems are extremely cumbersome to set up and require a lot of manual support interaction because of the limitations on networking. The internal reporting portal is very cumbersome to use as it does not have any clear filtering system to break down the costs on a granular level by project. When deploying the system in a large batch environment, the system often times fails to validate and the administrators have to repeat the provisioning process.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudshare eliminated the administrative burden and expensive hardware requirements of having to maintain physical servers for software demos and technical training. It simplifies the deployment of complicated sales proofs of concept, giving clients secure and isolated sandboxes that closely replicate real world production environments.

  ### 3. Effortless Training Environment Management with CloudShare

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scarlett B. | Technical Training Specialist, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I really appreciate how CloudShare has simplified deploying and managing training and lab environments. It allows me to stand up a full environment without any physical hardware, smoothing out my workflow and letting me focus more on the training itself. The integration with our LMS and Salesforce was seamlessly done, making syncing data and tracking learners' progress a breeze. I also love how I can tailor each environment to perfectly match the requirements of a course or demo, which makes my sessions much more relevant. The feature to save and clone fully configured environments as templates is amazing since it saves time and ensures consistency across sessions without rebuilding from scratch. Setting up CloudShare was quite simple, taking a few days without running into major issues. Lastly, CloudShare's ability to quickly prepare hands-on labs for each learner and run consistent sessions, regardless of class size, has dramatically cut down my prep time and made our training operations more scalable.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

My main sticking point is the latency during busier hours, which occasionally drags down the performance of the simulators and hands-on exercises I rely on mid-session. Some of the more advanced configuration settings are fiddlier than they need to be and aren't especially intuitive. Between the two, I've had the odd training session interrupted and have had to spend extra time making adjustments on the fly.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare lets me spin up virtual, hardware-free training labs on demand and replicate them for every learner, sharply cutting my prep time and making our training fully scalable.

  ### 4. Effortless Demos with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oskar J. | Sales Engineer, Wireless, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I love how CloudShare has solved the constant struggle of needing dependable demo setups without having to build them from scratch. It's great that I can provision exactly what a demo or training demands and be ready in minutes. The ability to run recurring client training sessions on my own without developer involvement has freed up engineering time and dramatically lightened my prep. I truly appreciate being able to spin up isolated environments for demos without touching anything in the back end, and the fact that these environments mirror real deployments provides prospects with a genuine feel for how things actually work. The integration with Salesforce, which lets me tie each session to the right contact for effortless tracking, makes onboarding new users far more engaging and smoother than before. Additionally, the setup was quite easy, as we didn't face any bigger issues.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Running several live sessions at once is where it tends to fall short. The interface doesn't always refresh in real time, which makes switching between environments on the fly more awkward than it should be, and slows me down when I need to find my footing quickly mid-demo.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare solves the need for reliable demo setups, reducing reliance on internal environments. It lets me run client training without developer help, frees engineering time, and scales customer education. The Salesforce integration keeps tracking seamless, and it mirrors real deployments for genuine demos.

  ### 5. Efficient Training Management with Auto-Cost Control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steffen L. | Senior Instructional Designer, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I appreciate CloudShare for providing cloud-based environments that I can manage centrally for my international team. It spares me a lot of back-and-forth coordination. The auto-sleep feature is a big plus, trimming costs from idle systems left running after sessions. The ability to build infrastructure as a template and hand it over to my team for a repeatable setup every time is a win for me. CloudShare's auto-sleep and auto-delete features are also beneficial, as they allow me to configure timers to handle everything without manual intervention, keeping our budget sensible.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

My one gripe is that environments can be slow to come online now and then. I have got into the habit of launching mine well ahead of a session so nothing catches me out at the last minute. In fairness, it may have more to do with the size of the setup we deploy in one go than anything on CloudShare's end.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare provides cloud-based training environments that I can centrally manage, reducing coordination efforts. Its auto-sleep feature helps trim unnecessary costs from idle systems after sessions.

  ### 6. Centralized Platform That Streamlines Work and Boosts Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brahma P. | Developer., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I like that it centralizes everything in a single platform, which makes my work simpler and more organized. It also really helps teams collaborate more effectively, especially when sharing environments.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

In my experience, virtual machine customization is an area that could still be improved, since the available options don’t always match individual needs.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my experience as a developer, this tool has been very useful for setting up controlled environments without unnecessary complications, and it saves me time. It has also helped me reduce errors and keep demos more organized and consistent. Overall, I honestly find it practical and quick to use.

  ### 7. Easy to Use and Fast for Creating and Accessing Labs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinis G. | IT Security Consultant (outsourcing CGD), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Easy of use, once you understand the platform capabilities. Very rapid on creating labs and accessing them. The Custom menus inside the labs, could be better UX/UI enhanced, though.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Nothing yet to comment on that. Very usable and likeable

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving students a platform to test and apply their knowledge, with ease.

  ### 8. Effortless Environment Duplication with Smooth Real-Time Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randal A. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I’m amazed at how easy it is to duplicate entire environments with just a few clicks. The live collaboration is fantastic—multiple users can modify everything simultaneously in real time without interruptions or issues. On top of that, it offers robust security.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

In my experience, the mobile app feels pretty useless as it is right now. A better interface—or even a complete overhaul—would be very welcome.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Large contracts with companies are now a real success for me: I can close them efficiently in just a few minutes, which speeds up my sales process. My team also works much more effectively, saving a lot of time on their day-to-day tasks.

  ### 9. Perfect for Repeatable Demos with Auto Sleep/Delete That Saves Budget

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

It's great for running my demo environment. Once we build out our infrastructure as a template, it's easy to share with my team and get repeatable results. I also love the auto-sleep and auto-delete features. After you've spent a bunch of time with a customer showing off your tool, the last thing you want to worry about is having to shut your system down, then comes CloudShare to the rescue with configurable sleep and delete environment times. This helps my team maintain a reasonable budget for our system vs other cloud offerings that don't offer this feature, leading to billing for time we are not using the system.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Sometimes the environment is slow to spin up. To combat this, I make sure that I spin my environment 20 minutes before a demo. This could be more a function of the size of infrastructure we are deploying at once, and might not be a CloudShare issue at all.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudshare provides cloud-based infrastructure for our demos, which we can centrally manage for our international team. Additionally, the auto sleep function helps us reduce costs spent when a system is either not being used or forgotten about after the demo is complete.

  ### 10. Easy Creation of Virtual Environments with CloudShare

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raoul S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

I like the ease with which the so-called blueprints can be created, which are the images used to distribute the course. These blueprints can be updated really quickly, allowing the course to be kept up-to-date without needing to recreate the environments each time.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

In general, I don't have many problems with CloudShare, but the performance could be improved at certain times of the day when, for some reason, it slightly drops.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use CloudShare to create test and training environments without having to prepare physical rooms. I appreciate the ease of creating and updating blueprints, keeping the courses up to date without recreating the environments each time.
