**Reviewed by:** Harold C. | Principle OT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Excellent service for creating customer demos, training or POC's. You can quickly scale to the needs of your customers, watch in real time and efficiently manage the environments.

I've used it primarily for training but also POC's. The environments spin up quickly and are easily accessible via any web browser.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

If you use older OS's (not supported by MS) then you have to upload them yourself. For example, if you want to include server 2003 or Windows XP

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly provide demos and training to customers. It's must faster than configuring systems on site for a customer. It quickly scales based on customer need.

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Being able to have individual instances of our company's ERP system so that each participant can participate in training exercises is excellent. The platform is flexible and easy to use. CloudShare works so well that our company is transitioning other business units to it for their customer training.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike about CloudShare. There is a bit of a learning curve to it but it is not too bad.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we used CloudShare we had to maintain individual log-ins and environments, it was much more labor-intensive and took a lot more time to set up classes. With CloudShare, it is easy to set up a class on the fly and invite additional attendees if needed.

  ### 14. Transformed our Course Delivery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yolande E. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Zoom in feature.
I have all of my attendee screens "zoomed in" to full-screen tabs so that I can monitor their progress and make them feel that I am just over their shoulder assisting with the software. Switching between tabs is much more efficient than walking around a room and peering over shoulders. More empowering for course participants.

Shared Screen.
Participants need to see the instructor screen. Most like to work simultaneously with the instructor.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

1) The header bar of the Viewer Window takes up a lot of space on small screens.

Some participants prefer to work in this view rather than fullscreen (which I encourage) because they have their communication tools/file upload easily accessible. It would be good to have the best of both. Either collapse the header bar or include the file upload from the fullscreen view.
Maybe include the chat pane in the broadcast window - so fewer windows to deal with.

2) Desperately waiting for the whiteboard.

3) Would like a record feature to record some sessions. I am using other tools.

4) Demo tool that does not consume our resources.

Our team spends a lot of time "onboarding" course participants. This usually involves scheduling and running a demo to client stakeholders, then before the course, participant sessions to allow them to log in, see the platform and check the connectivity and resolve issues (usually audio). Having a location/sandbox that we could take customers to would be very useful.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Just try it.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudshare has transformed our business. 90% of our software training is now completed online with CloudShare. Some clients are yet to be convinced.

Environmental: No travel for trainers or customers.
Time: No travel means more time on other tasks.
Flexibility: I am no longer restricted to local trainers or times when local trainers are available, as I can use trainers from any location.

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

CloudShare provide nice enviroment for Online LABs so that we can plan training for teams and Customers.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

No single Points as of now to dislike to product. Also add more timingin opstions

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

I want to recommend adding more time to lab live.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its slove the problems and challages to spin the lab quicky and reuse with in less time.

  ### 37. Virtual environments with CloudShare

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avery P. | Senior Product Marketing Manager - Developer Experience, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

CloudShare is a brilliantly simple way to create and work with virtual training environments or demo labs. It makes it easy to find the best price on all sorts of IT training, and developers claim it is simple to develop unique IT environments. If you don't want to use external identification management, you can use IP addresses instead of servers.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

In this software, some configurations could be simplified a bit.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare is perfect for making development environments available to our partners. We can install our software in these environments and give access to those environments right away.

  ### 38. My Cloudshare experience as a teacher

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gilles L. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

What I like is the possibility of controlling the student cloud environnement.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

There are so many options that it's sometime unclear to navigate through all the menus.
There might be a way to solve it : propose a "basic view" with only the necessary features and an "advanced view" with all the features.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Take the time to review the software : don't think that you will make it up as you are providing traing since you are already familiar with virtualization technology. Try to stick to the same browser always.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudshare is one of the best solutions for doing remote training. There is no need to setup complicated environments and we can easily reset the whole environment once the training has been completed.

  ### 39. It was very quick to deploy and use for our customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Very easy to setup, great customer service and quick response from the team. This really helped our customers get a feel for our product. We also like how you can bring up a system with a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The cost is the only issue. It is a bit expensive when using in small quantities. Also the user interface is sometimes hard to find for new people. And it's hard to determine your cost per user.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to allow potential customers to try our storage solution. Cloud share made it easy to deploy a system and enabled us to see what the customers are doing

  ### 40. Using cloudshare in a fast moving software company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2019

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Easy to use, quick to create and spin up environments

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The backend UI. Has got better over the years, but still room for improvement. Can be more intuitive and modern.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

If you need a solid solution that can integrate with your LMS, Cloudshare is your answer.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to quickly and effectively have users use a customized environment. Lauching multiple complex labs for our customers and partners.

  ### 41. Expert support when implementing a complex fully distributed enterprise training environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Technical Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Support that is technically excellent, and goes out of the way to understand the nature and complexity of our application in order that we can deliver technical training. Our application is a highly complex, distributed real-time video conferencing solution. Delivering scalable, repeatable lab-based training is an incredibly tough task when you consider that our enterprise-grade application is simply not designed to work within an environment such as CloudShare.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Not a lot. As we come across things, so we find workarounds and solutions

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Try replicating your SaaS offering,,,,,

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue is to provide a scalable, repeatable training environment that replicates an enterprise setting. It requires multiple VMs to emulate a Windows domain and other services (Exchange, Skype for Business etc), plus a virtualised nested ESXi host on which students can deploy our application. This needs to expose instruction sets from the underlying hardware and be sufficiently powerful to cope with multiple real-time video calls from multiple endpoints. Being able to spin up environments in different build states, plus allowing those environments to be suspended when not in use will save on cost yet allow us to deliver more labs to more people asynchronously across the globe. Not to mention other possible use cases such as demos and development environments that we have yet to fully explore.

  ### 42. Cloudshare a vital key to unlock Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russell A. | Technical Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

To put it simply I could not function effectively in my role without cloudshare now. It allows me to create training, demo and Test systems in a very fast and intuitive way.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

The original interface was a bit clunky but they have just updated it and it has addressed most of the inconveniences. I seem to be limited to 4 CPUS per virtual machines but that may just be our companies limit. Apart from that I am struggling to think of a dislike. It has transformed the way we work.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating training , demo and Test systems. We also provide product demo machines adhoc to our partners at a moments notice for client demos or testing. If I have an issue I need to feedback to our development, no more long report completion and screenshots required, I just take a copy of my system with the issue and give it to them to resolve. Excellent Cloud product and I have never had it fail or let me down.

  ### 43. Great concept that has not kept up with the times.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Principal Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

For Windows only labs this is good I can spin up a lab that is complex and get value

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Unusable for anything linux related no linux builds less than 2 years old can be used if you need more than one instance

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Just use AWS

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to failure to support linux none

  ### 44. review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The number of classes and the ease of use, there is no frustraiton trying to take classes

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

I didn' thave any issues with the platform

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training and sharing of matirial

  ### 45. Great delivery of complex labs, and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Technical Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

The support and attention from the team to help deliver on our complex needs ASAP.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Not a lot. If I'm being critical, there is a need for event-driven hooks from the system rather than simply polling an API.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

Know what you want and how you want to deliver, probably through the delivery of other training labs.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complex nested virtualised lab deployment of a distributed videoconferencing system.

  ### 46. self-serve environment for training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramdev P. | architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

Flexibility & easiness to use ,deploy & develope

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Reporting is up to the mark; they should provide the raw logs related to each project

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing training to our partners

  ### 47. Absolutely awesome Company to work with and a great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken R. | A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

This is such an easy product to use and provides a truly realistic classroom approach to instruction with distance learning.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

I only wish they had a standard Windows 10 Professional installation, but perhaps they will have this for the next version of Windows.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudShare has made our ILT training much more efficient and has significantly reduced our travel costs and, more importantly, the travel costs of our customers.

  ### 48. Makes Online Training Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

We didn't skip a beat during COVID due in large part to CloudShare. Our partners and customers can quickly and easily deep dive into hands-on technical training using link/login creds.

Creating a class, inviting students, and leaving them to their own pace of study with the multiple blueprints feature is excellent.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

UI/UX is a bit clunky and outdated from an Administrative perspective. Configuring the environments is more of a challenge versus what the end-user experiences.
In the past pricing model was confusing, although they have made strides to streamline things.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online technical training with complex enterprise security products. No need to waste time troubleshooting local laptop configurations and restrictions.

Saves Trainers valuable time by emphasizing teaching without getting sidetracked.

  ### 49. Reliable and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

It has made demonstrating and collaborating with the customers I work with easier. I have a library of configured environments I can both show and share. New product releases that customers don't always want to install in order to see new features can be quickly and easily setup for them, and automatically cleaned up at the end of the time they are shared.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Getting files in and out of the environment should be updated.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudShare:**

The automated management of the end-user environment makes it easy to control utilization. During implementation, a team should be identified to develop and administer the configuration and components deployed in the system.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are delivering a consistent, high-quality software demonstration environment for the internal team and external customers.

  ### 50. Perfect Platform for Virtual Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff B. | Director Customer and Field Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudShare?**

CloudShare is easy to use and can be accessed from nearly any web-enabled device. This allows us flexibility with our ability to deliver training. The pricing is very competitive and any unused data or minutes roll over to the next month.

**What do you dislike about CloudShare?**

Understanding how to budget is a little confusing. It is hard to know how many RAM-GB Hours and Disc-GB Hours are needed.

**What problems is CloudShare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to provide hands-on lab time to our learners remotely rather than having to have them on prem. We are also in the process of converting the bulky hardware that we bring to onsite training events to tablets accessing CloudShare to reduce equipment wear and tear and shipping costs.
