Cloud cost helps in tag and policy management which is the flag ship feature where I can enforce the policies based on my cloud infrastructure usage and have controlled cost mechanism and have unnecessary spinning of the cloud infra by the users, cost analysis at the project level/services level give more insights and helps in enforcing the policies accordingly. We had major issues with cloud cost and its keep increasing and we have no idea who is using what services since no tagging was implemented. In just few hours we are able to see all the costs by domain, account, department etc helped to chargeback each owner while able to show back all the charges. We were really struggling to get a clear picture of our cloud spending – it was a bit of a mess, to be honest.
