## Cloudinary Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient image management and optimization for marketing workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mato B. | Clinical Sales Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary makes image management straightforward and efficient. I especially appreciate the automatic image optimization, flexible dynamic transformations, dependable hosting, and the fast delivery through its CDN.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The platform does have a learning curve, particularly when you start using the more advanced image transformation and automation features. Some settings aren’t immediately intuitive, so it can take a bit of time to get comfortable and fully understand all the options available.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves the challenge of efficiently managing, optimizing, and delivering large volumes of images across different channels without requiring manual processing. In my work, where I regularly handle visual assets for branding, marketing materials, and customer presentations, it eliminates a lot of repetitive tasks—like resizing, reformatting, and optimizing images—so they’re ready for different use cases.

  ### 2. Reliable and powerful DAM & Asset Distribution service with many features and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone F. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary is an excellent service for image and video runtime processing, helping you distribute content via a CDN. Its Digital Asset Management (DAM) system has an intuitive interface that enables users with varying levels of technical proficiency to manage assets and share them with stakeholders.

Cloudinary has a strong technical foundation, and it’s clearly built by developers for developers. It offers many features to process assets on demand as they’re consumed on your site, with a reliable CDN on top to distribute your content globally—optimized and transformed exactly as you want and need.

Cloudinary is also always improving and listening to customer needs. Very often, you even have the chance to speak directly with Product Owners and other responsible team members to suggest changes and have an open exchange about features and usability.

Integration with Contentful is easy and straightforward and also the usage of the different widgets for upload or video play are easy to integrate and full of built-in functionality.

The pricing may vary highly on the usage and traffic, however considering that, especially when speaking about the assets delivery, everything is fully managed, already give a great advantage and removes the burden of managing infrastructure and configurations. You only need to care about the content.

With the upcoming AI features Cloudinary is building, there will be the possibility to easily scale without the burden of manual human intervention. Assets moderation or enhancing content will become easy and straightforward, thanks also to the usage of agents that can support the build and engineering of such capabilities

Last but not least, Cloudinary provides excellent support. With Platinum or Diamond Support, responses to questions, doubts, and technical issues can arrive within minutes.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

It takes some time to master all the technical features provided by Cloudinary, and they’re not always intuitive to set up or manage.

I’d recommend having a technically responsible person on your team to take ownership of the system, because business requirements often need to be “translated” into implementation details on the Cloudinary platform. The SDKs and APIs could be improved, and in few cases their usage feels cumbersome or not very intuitive. As a result, development can slow down when you need to reach out to support to fully understand how certain features are meant to be used.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloudinary:**

Always involve technical members because it has a steep learning curve in some cases and there're many details to be taken in consideration when setting up your accounts. Ask often support to understand better how to optimize your content delivery.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve moved our media asset management over to a SaaS system, so our developers barely have to worry anymore about how media content is displayed and optimized on our platform. We’ve also streamlined the architecture of our ecosystem by bringing DAM and media distribution together in a single system.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> It’s great to hear Cloudinary is helping unify and simplify your media pipeline—from DAM to global distribution. We’re especially glad the platform is meeting both technical and business needs, and that support has been there when it counts. Your points on the learning curve and SDK usability are well taken—those are areas we’re actively working to streamline. Thanks for the detailed and thoughtful feedback!

  ### 3. Reliable Media Management, but Pricing and Feature Transparency Need Improvement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary has made storing and managing media assets easier. Everything has a clear structure, so nothing gets lost and finding what I need takes less time. It's proven an efficient system for handling assets day to day.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The main downside is lack of transparency. Information is often patchy so it's not always clear what's actually included or what you're signing up for. I've also run into extra costs that weren't flagged upfront which is very frustrating. Clearer and more upfront pricing and feature details would go a long way.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Cloudinary I was manually sorting images before they even went up on the website, a repetitive task that ate into my time. Now I upload straight to Cloudinary and it handles the sorting and AI tagging itself, so everything's more organised and easier to track down. It's streamlined my whole workflow and freed up time I used to spend on manual admin.

  ### 4. Effortless Image Management with Cloudinary

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sigurbjörg S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I use Cloudinary to store and categorize images, and I have all images in one place stored in an easy and organized fashion. It's easy to find and update categories so one of the thousands of images is easily found. I like that you can edit tags for many images at the same time and don't have to do it one at a time, which helps loads when I have made a new tag or am making new folders to be able to do it quickly and efficiently. The initial setup of Cloudinary was very easy, and it is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I would like there to be a setting so when you open an image you can have the setting set so it doesn't open the downloads tab but instead the metadata or summary tab. Also, when you have selected many images and then accidentally click on something outside the white select box, you unselect everything, which can be very annoying.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to store and categorize images efficiently, with all images in one place. Editing tags for many images at once is quick and makes updating folders easier.

  ### 5. Powerful, flexible media automation — if you invest in the setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The biggest value is programmatic, on-the-fly media transformation. Instead of briefing a designer or agency for every asset, we define a transformation once and reuse it everywhere: AI/content-aware cropping that turns rectangular shots into clean square formats, automated background removal, and banner composition that layers localized text, loyalty tiers, and discount values dynamically — no manual HTML alignment.
Integrations are where it really pays off. It plugs into our modular stack via API, so we ingest, tag, and serve assets without ever opening the DAM UI. The Contentful plugin lets the team swap landing-page assets directly; the Braze integration drives dynamic, localized email banners; and we built a one-click layer connecting Cloudinary to YouTube so brand marketing can publish video with a single button. One-button templates auto-crop and resize assets to each affiliate partner's spec, cutting time-to-market from days to minutes.
Performance is solid — assets are delivered fast and consistently across email, web, and affiliate channels from a single source of truth. On ROI, these automations sharply reduced our reliance on external agencies and freed in-house designers from routine resizing; marketing now assembles designs from templates (e.g. Google Sheets–driven) on its own.
The UI is approachable — "Google Photos for grown-ups" — and onboarding/support was a genuine differentiator: their team helped build our initial transformations, resolved early API issues quickly, and consistently ships features based on customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Honestly, most of what I'd flag is less a shortcoming of the product and more a reflection of how capable it is. The same flexibility that makes Cloudinary powerful also means there's depth to learn — getting full value from programmatic transformations takes some comfort with CSS/HTML, and richer integrations call for a bit of engineering time. For a larger organization, it's worth going in knowing the platform rewards preparation: defining your taxonomy, folder structures, and workflows up front makes a real difference to how smoothly things scale. We did see a few cryptic API messages early on, though support helped us resolve them quickly. None of it held us back — it's really just a reminder that Cloudinary gives you a lot of room to build, and the results depend on the structure and processes you put around it.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves the problem of asset production and distribution being a bottleneck. Previously, routine work — resizing, reformatting, localizing, composing banners — meant briefing designers or agencies for every variation, which was slow and expensive. Now we define transformations once and reuse them at scale, so the marketing team ships assets itself.
Concretely: dynamic banner composition (via Braze) recreates complex, agency-level email designs automatically, layering localized text, loyalty tiers, and discounts on the fly. One-button templates auto-crop and resize assets to each affiliate partner's spec, turning what used to be days of manual work into minutes. A one-click layer we built between Cloudinary and YouTube lets brand marketing publish video without juggling file exchanges. And with the Contentful integration, landing-page assets are served and swapped directly from Cloudinary.
The benefit is speed and independence. Time-to-market dropped sharply, our dependency on external agencies fell, and in-house designers are freed from repetitive resizing to focus on higher-value work. Just as importantly, we now have a single, programmatic source of truth for media across email, web, and affiliate channels — instead of assets scattered across drives and tools.
Updating the file.Edited a fileEdited a fileAll three main fields are done and saved in the draft. The file also still has a "Recommendations to others" section if that field comes up. Anything else you'd like to adjust?

  ### 6. Streamlined Asset Review with Effortless Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie M. | Buying and Merchandising Admin Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary helps me streamline my processes when checking for errors on shoots and making sure things go live on-site in time. I like that I can easily search for what I want to look for in the assets bar, and I can review things really easily without having to overdo my workload. It helps me streamline my processes because I can search it myself without having to ask a different team who would normally manage the shoot process. So if I want to check if something's been shot, I can easily review that with the asset tab. The setup was very, very easy and I didn't have any problems.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Nothing really. I actually find everything quite helpful. I don't have any negatives.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary helps me streamline my processes when checking for errors of shoots and making sure things go live on-site in time. I can easily search what I want in the assets bar and review things without overdoing my workload, so I don't have to ask the team who manages the shoot process.

  ### 7. Powerful Search, A Single Source for Content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody S. | Store Manager / Marketing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I like how easy it is to search for files in Cloudinary. I can use it not only as a data resource, but also as a source of inspiration when using more generic terms. It does a great job at searching not only specific search terms, but parts or phrases that are similar. I appreciate the creation date filters, as I can see exactly what the teams are working on day-to-day. I also use the file type filter often to make sure I am getting the highest possible quality resources for the type of content I am creating that day. I appreciate the ability to quickly preview hundreds of files and view the full-size files quickly. Other platforms did not allow us to have such a macro and micro scope of content. It solves the problem of needing multiple programs and resources to host files, and our creative, marketing, design, and all of our teams use it as a single source of content. After we switched from our internal file server, it was much easier to see the content as a thumbnail size, and users could stay logged in instead of constantly re-logging into our system. The initial setup was quite easy. The login system is straightforward and easy to set up new employees and new teams with the content on day one.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

One area Cloudinary could improve is previewing videos from the site itself. To preview long videos, it can't be done quickly. I recently tried to watch a video made by the marketing team that was about 14 minutes, and it took time to load the preview. It was actually faster to download it than it was to wait for the preview to prepare. I did not cause any massive delays, but it did take a few extra steps. I think lower-res previews would be very helpful when browsing for videos and quickly being able to understand if the video can be useful to the business.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves the problem of needing multiple programs to host files. My creative, marketing, and design teams use it as a single source of content. It's easy to search for files, even with generic terms, and I can preview hundreds of files quickly. Users stay logged in too.

  ### 8. Effortless Image & Video Optimization with Flexible URL Transformations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar K. | SEO Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

What I like most about Cloudinary is how it removes a lot of the messy work around images and videos without feeling heavy. Upload once, and resizing, compression, and format changes just happen through simple URLs, which feels surprisingly flexible. It also handles edge cases well, like optimizing for slow networks or different devices.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Pricing can become confusing once you move beyond basic usage. From my personal experience, transformations and bandwidth are harder to predict than expected.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of handling media at scale without forcing you to build your own pipeline. Instead of worrying about resizing, compression, formats, and CDN delivery, it centralizes everything so media just works across devices. That saves a lot of time and prevents small mistakes like serving huge images to mobile users.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Cloudinary's URL transformations flexible and easy to use for optimizing images and videos. We strive to provide a seamless experience for our users.

  ### 9. Reliable Asset Management: Update Images Without Developers, Strong 3D File Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I love that we can structure and upload files in a way that aligns with our needs. We can reliably update assets so our apps remain dynamic when fetching images, and our team can change images without involving a developer. We also appreciate the support for multiple files, which has been valuable while working with 3D models.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The UI for configuring transformations could be a bit cleaner; it feels overwhelming at first.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary makes it easy to manage product images and 3D models for our app. It has been very helpful in ensuring images load at the correct size, and, by using some of its AI tools, we've optimized asset delivery across devices and for users on slow connections so our app reliably serves media.

  ### 10. Well-Documented, User-Friendly API with the Image Storage Features We Need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The API is well documented and user friendly, and the capabilities it provides are what I'd want from an image cloud storage provider. It's also reliable and performant, working really well even at a high scale.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I feel like the UI is a little janky; it sometimes feels not entirely clear what's happening behind the scenes, and navigating a large collection can be a little bit clunky, but overall it's still quite usable.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a good integrated place to store images and perform some useful transforms on them (concatenating pages, getting a face focused image, size/quality transforms...) great having a product that offers all that out of the box, rather than having to write a ton of image transforming logic ourselves.

  ### 11. Efficient asset management, but a lot of add-on subscriptions required

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle P. | Content Manager, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I like that Cloudinary provides a central storage point for all our assets, making it easier for everyone to access them at all times. I appreciate the various upload transformations available, ensuring a consistent look, feel, and size for our hotel images. The interface is really easy to use, and the folder search functionality makes finding things straightforward - we use it all day every day.

I enjoy the additional features, including media flows that streamline image processing, and the video player, which delivers video assets in a more aesthetically pleasing manner than the previous YouTube player, and uses smart technology to reduce the time it takes for pages with video on to load. The initial setup was very easy, with a team member assigned to help us get the best out of the product. The client support team have also worked with us closely to unlock new ways of working.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

A lot of the fantastic features available aren't included in the plan we have, meaning you can incur extra costs that make it more difficult to get a return on your investment in the product.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary centralises all of our assets and offers upload transformations for consistent image quality and style. It also offers a vieo player that's more aesthetically pleasing on site, and it doesn't require users to accept cookies to view the video, which means more people are seeing our conversion boosting content.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Cloudinary efficient for asset management and that it has helped streamline your image processing and video delivery. We understand your concern about add-on subscriptions, and we continuously review our plans and features to provide the best value for our customers.

  ### 12. Effortless Media Management, Lightning-Fast Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie H. | Client Support Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I truthfully just love the product and the functionality. I think that it truly helps my day to day life so much. I love that you can do so much with it besides just uploading the files. I've uploaded so many, and every single one has just loaded so smoothly. I really appreciate what it has to offer. I like using the embedded URL link because sometimes we are required to embed elements on our user's website. So having that directly integrated where it provides the embed code for you is super helpful. The initial setup was super easy, very straightforward, and very simple.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I think sometimes the drop downs could be a tiny, tiny bit confusing whenever you're going to share or export a photo or video. I think maybe just concise the list a little bit, would help.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to upload large photos and videos to client websites without affecting loading speeds, so they don't have to use YouTube or Vimeo. It hosts the files and improves loading times, helping their websites perform better.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Cloudinary! We're glad to hear that our platform has been easy to use and has provided smooth uploading and embedding capabilities. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing to support your media management needs.

  ### 13. AI Tagging Boosts Image Search, Video Delivery Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I like the way we can use AI to search for images with the automatic tagging. The automatic tagging is the one that really helps us, because we used to work with SharePoint folders where we could only search for the file name, and now we can actually search for what is in the image. So it makes sure that our marketing teams can find images quicker than before. I also like the automations where we can edit metadata fields that flow into our PIM system, to link images to products, for example. And I like the easy edit mode, and the standard compress modes make sure that images are delivered correctly across all platforms. For us, Cloudinary solves the problem of consistency and brand consistency, but also quality, because we work with a lot of marketing people in a lot of different regions. It makes sure that all the images and videos we use are delivered in a qualitative way, and that they're all consistent and on brand. The setup was good too, they managed to take care of the migration of all our SharePoint libraries for us.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

{"I think delivering videos to a digital platform is more difficult.","Creating our own video player and making sure that it plays correctly is more challenging for us.","The only thing that would have helped us more is if we could have a better view of what the end product would have looked like. It was all very technical from the start, which was more difficult for us."}

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary mainly for images and videos across digital platforms. It solves brand consistency and quality since we work with marketing people in different regions. The AI automatic tagging lets us search for what's in an image, so our marketing teams find images quicker than before with SharePoint.

  ### 14. Broad SDK Support and Excellent Cloudinary Learning Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | Lead Sitecore Solutions Germany, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The broad support for various languages with their SDKs as well as the nice learnign experience when I started trainings in Cloudinary learning platform.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

It is sometimes tricky to make a reliable token consumption calculation for a client, before the project is actually live, which can create higher costs, than initially expected.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary provides a single source of truth for all kinds of assets for our clients and streamlines asset creation and lifecycle management.

  ### 15. Simple, Reliable Asset Management with Great ROI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

It’s simple to navigate, easy to share URLs, and straightforward to manage assets. It’s reliable, and we’ve received support whenever we’ve needed it. Overall, I think it’s the best ROI we get from a tool that’s so simple, yet so effective and well aligned with modern task flows.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The UI feels a little dated, it can definitely use some work on visuals and updating UX to make it easier to use. It can also have some AI features and intelligence to clean, organise and update assets.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business requires us to upload content assets on a daily basis, which helps us integrate and update to the latest content library.

  ### 16. Intuitive folder UI, powerful search filters, and smooth uploads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay T. | Production Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Ease of search. There are a lot of great filters and search tools to help me find what I'm looking for. The folder structure user interface is intuitive and never glitches. The upload process always goes pretty smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Sometimes image previews don't show up right away.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps streamline our work: having everything for all projects in a single program is extremely convenient and makes coordination easier.

  ### 17. Intuitive UX and Easy Image Embeds, Though Refreshing Can Lag

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek C. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The UX is intuitive, and I was able to figure out how to use it right from the start. It was also very easy to surface links to images and embed them in my app.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

It can be a bit laggy at times, especially when refreshing images.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a straightforward way to embed images in our Agentforce LWC, and Cloudinary made it easy to do.

  ### 18. Cloudinary Makes Video Sharing and Reviews Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Senior Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary has been really useful as a resource for our video team to share files with the rest of the team. I'm a content writer and have to review video clips and scripts often.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

It feels like it can become disorganized rather quickly sometimes, and on occasion we've had access issues.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems of storing a large amount of video files in one place is solved.

  ### 19. Transformative DAM with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I appreciate the quick responses from Cloudinary's support team whenever we have issues. I also value their continuous improvement and creation of new features, including leaning into AI and developing new agentic tools. These tools make the creation of things like transformations for assets quicker and less manual, allowing others at my company to use Cloudinary's capabilities without needing to be experts. We also liked the feature of Cloudinary being able to serve assets straight from the DAM and transformations (we typically store large layered PSDs, but Cloudinary can instantly create a web-optimized image quickly without the need to open Photoshop again). Additionally, during the initial setup, we received support from Cloudinary's team and didn't encounter any specific issues.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Our previous DAM had better options for what Cloudinary calls 'Structured metadata'. I'd like for Cloudinary to offer more field types, such as true/false, number but with more control (like limiting it to integers), and better search within Structured Metadata fields. We have some limited tie-ins with tools like Figma, but most uploading takes place manually. We also don't have connections at the moment to other product information management (PIM) tools or CMSs for blogs.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary improves asset storage and search over Google Drive, controls access for sharing with third parties, and simplifies asset serving on web pages. Its AI tools drive quicker setups for non-experts, and the responsive support enhances our experience.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We really appreciate you highlighting fast support, PSD-to-web optimization, and AI-driven ease of use. I’m sorry Structured Metadata isn’t meeting your needs — we’ll log this as a feature request and prioritize clearer search and additional field types. Meanwhile, please reach out to support so we can propose practical workarounds (metadata schemas, upload validation, webhooks or middleware for PIM/CMS) and share any details about your ideal field types and search behavior.

  ### 20. Simplifies DevOps and Frontend Work — Automatic Image Sizing & CDN Handled

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

the product simplifies a lot of complexity for the engineers - devops / backend and frontend work is being much easier than before.

Although we are not using the AI features for focusing on objects in images - it is great that I don't have to think about image sizes and a CDN layer

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I think that being effective with Cloudinary is very difficult.
I have many pain points of engineers not knowing how to use it well, which means how to improve what we already do with more advanced features.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Having a solution to host media (no need to build)
- Having a way to make changes easily since it is supported by Cloudinary
- Having a better UX for the clients - optimized image size is being served to the browsers

  ### 21. Glitchy ‘Area of Interest’ Upload Tool Slows Down Fast-Paced Publishing

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I am responsible for the marketing communications of an OEM which runs multiple race series, and Cloudinary's ability to organize images in different folders makes it easy.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The 'area of interest' when uploading an image. This feature is very glitchy, works maybe 50% of the time when trying to select, and adds a lot of extra time to writing articles on our websites. In a segment which relies on getting the news out there first, this is a massive headache.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I can think of.

  ### 22. Streamlines workflow and editing, but has a steep learning curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

What I like best about Cloudinary is that it keeps all of my files and photos in one organized place, making them easy to access and manage. I also really appreciate the built-in editing tools, which let me make quick adjustments without needing to switch to another application. It streamlines my workflow and saves me time.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

One thing I dislike about Cloudinary is that it can take some time to learn all of its features and tools. While it's very powerful, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves the problem of managing and organizing my photos and files by keeping everything in one place. It also makes editing and optimizing images easy with its built-in tools.

  ### 23. Effortless Image Management with Cloudinary

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aviral M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I find Cloudinary easy to use, with its clean UI and usage-based costs being particularly appealing. As a large OTT company, the platform is equally accessible for our developers and operations team. Additionally, I appreciate the predictable latencies for the millions of images we store with Cloudinary.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Decreased cost for an org of our scale.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves easy-to-use, low-latency image fetching on our platform in different formats, making it valuable for storing images, acting as a CDN, and performing image transformations.

  ### 24. I love using Cloudinary, it's very easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sade O. | Marketing Manager, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary is very easy to use and I use it very regularly. I use Cloudinary to store images, which are then uploaded to my website via a URL.

I use Cloudinary to compress images, which helps to reduce the file size and takes up less space on our website, which saves us more money by reducing the website bandwidth usage.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I have not seen any downsides to using Cloudinary.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary helps our website to have faster page load times because we do not upload images directly to our website.

As a result, our users have a better user experience and we are more likely to have a higher conversion rates.

Having a good user experience helps with our SEO because Google is able to send more customers our way and customers are less likely to bounce off our pages if our loading times are efficient.

This in turn leads to a higher sales for us when customers have a good experience on our website and do not exit due to being frustrated.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you love using Cloudinary and find it easy to use. Thank you for sharing your positive experience!

  ### 25. Organized folders make items easy to find, but the search function needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Customer Experience Content Specialist , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I like how there are folders and they are set up, it's easy to find things

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The search function isn't the best, it often doesn't show the item I am looking for.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a way to keep files organized.

  ### 26. Effortless Image Management, But Needs Better Team Controls

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon H. | UI/UX Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I’ve been using Cloudinary for some time now, and what I really appreciate is how much it simplifies my workflow. I can upload an image and Cloudinary automatically handles all the complex tasks—optimisation, resizing, format conversion, and more—without any need for complicated setup or extra effort on my part.

The URL-based transformations are a standout feature for me. Adjusting quality, aspect ratios, dimensions, and formats is as easy as adding a few parameters, which is incredibly convenient. This not only saves me time but also keeps my workflow organised, eliminating the need to create or maintain cumbersome image pipelines myself.

In terms of performance, Cloudinary is very reliable. Their CDN delivers images quickly, and I’ve noticed that pages on our website load faster and feel lighter because of the optimised images they provide.

All in all, Cloudinary makes managing images effortless, allowing me to concentrate on designing and building rather than dealing with asset management. It’s efficient, dependable, and truly valuable for anyone who works with visuals, even occasionally.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

One of my main frustrations with Cloudinary is how disorganized things can become when several people share the same account. When designers, developers, and content editors are all uploading and modifying assets, the situation can quickly spiral out of control. Naming conventions are often ignored, folders become cluttered, duplicate files accumulate, and it’s all too easy for someone to accidentally overwrite something important.

Cloudinary doesn’t provide many safeguards to prevent these issues, either. If your team lacks strong organization, the platform simply mirrors that disorder, turning the asset library into a bit of a jungle. With strict processes, it’s possible to keep things under control, but without them, managing assets can be quite a headache.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary significantly reduces the manual work typically required when managing a large number of images. Rather than having to create multiple resized or compressed versions for various devices and layouts, I can simply upload a single asset and let Cloudinary handle all the optimisation and transformation automatically. This eliminates a great deal of repetitive production tasks.

In terms of performance, it ensures everything runs smoothly. Assets are delivered via their CDN and are automatically optimised, which helps maintain fast page loads and prevents large files from slowing things down. It delivers consistent quality and efficiency without the need for extra tools or constant monitoring.

The biggest advantage for me is the time and mental energy it saves. With the heavy lifting managed in the background, I can focus on design and execution instead of constantly exporting images or enforcing file standards. It also helps minimise the risk of errors or inconsistencies in the asset library.

All in all, Cloudinary streamlines image management, enhances site performance, and keeps the entire workflow much more organised and efficient.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Cloudinary's image management capabilities and performance benefits. We understand the importance of team controls and will continue to work on enhancing the platform to better support collaborative asset management.

  ### 27. Global Asset Delivery Simplified

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I use Cloudinary for asset delivery which provides standardized global delivery. The edge network unification is particularly beneficial. I also find the AI workflow to be valuable, although I acknowledge that we might not be utilizing all the features as much as we should.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Dialing in agent personas and how they all work together through an orchestration layer is an interesting problem still to be solved.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary for asset delivery, solving edge network unification and providing standardized global delivery.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful review — we’re glad the edge network unification and AI workflow are helping with global asset delivery. We hear you on the orchestration and agent persona challenge. If you’d like, our support or solutions team can review your use case and share best practices or recommended patterns to help tighten persona orchestration and get more value from AI features.

  ### 28. A powerful and reliable solution for managing digital assets at scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary makes it incredibly easy to manage and deliver digital assets at scale. I especially appreciate how intuitive the interface is and how quickly I can upload, organize, and transform images. The automatic image optimization and built-in CDN significantly improve performance without requiring extra development time.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

While Cloudinary is powerful, the pricing can get expensive quickly, especially for small teams or startups. Some advanced features require a learning curve, and documentation, although extensive, can be overwhelming for beginners. The UI could also benefit from a modern refresh.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary helps us centralize and manage a large volume of media assets efficiently. Before using it, we faced challenges in optimizing image performance and handling responsive delivery across devices. Cloudinary’s automation and robust APIs have significantly reduced our manual workload and improved page load times, ultimately enhancing user experience.

Title for your review:

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Cloudinary. We're thrilled to hear that our platform has helped you optimize image performance and streamline media asset management. We appreciate your feedback on pricing and advanced features, and we're committed to addressing these concerns to better serve our users.

I really like Cloudinary for its dynamic transformation of imagery and video and the speed of delivery. It's great how easily we can share assets across the business and with third-party vendors. Uploading high-quality imagery and video without impacting site performance has been a huge advantage. The initial setup was very easy, and the business loves it.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

regular CSM catch ups maybe about future beta version trials if possible,

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary solves challenges of sharing images and videos across the business and with third-party vendors. It allows uploading high-quality imagery and video without impacting site performance.

Organizing media is a breeze. The Cloudinary module helps it integrate into internal workflows. Support has been very responsive and solicitous of feedback. The Cloudinary team is keen on developing helpful AI features.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

  ### 31. Cloudinary Makes Media Management Effortless and Boosts ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cade C. | VP of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary is not just a CDN, but the de facto standard platform for images and video on the web. It is easy to use for developers, marketers and creatives and has dramatically reduced complications with delivering the right media to the right device at the right time. As a small business, media management will never be a profit center for us, so ease of implementation and integration are key for us and Cloudinary delivers. Additionally, new features and functionality only serve to increase our ROI as our adoption continues. The value for our teams and our business is undeniable.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Cost and sticker shock is definitely a concern, but overall value outweighs cost completely for us. A portion of the AI features are not relevant to our business. Mass update of image paths is not a trivial, so initial setup is critical. Stock Wordpress integration leaves something to be desired.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary's digital asset management, optimization and on-the-fly delivery replaces expensive home grown projects to perform these tasks. Additionally replaces limited onprem media asset management solution. Replaces manual image manipulation and scales extremely well without requiring additional resources.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Cloudinary! We're pleased to hear that our platform has made media management effortless for your small business and has increased your ROI. We understand your concerns about cost and some features not being relevant, and we will take this feedback into consideration as we continue to enhance our platform.

  ### 32. Powerful, User-Friendly Asset Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel M. | Head of Content, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Cloudinary offers dynamic image manipulation and a robust API, supported by comprehensive public documentation. Its user-friendly interface makes it accessible to everyone in the company, and it serves as a single source of truth for all digital assets. I also appreciate Cloudinary’s commitment to keeping up with the evolving technology landscape.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I wouldn't say I dislike it, but I do wish it were more affordable for us, given that the base product includes plenty of features that are certainly valuable but that I haven't gotten to take advantage of due to my specific business needs.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to integrate it seamlessly with our own platforms through the API, and by taking advantage of its dynamic image manipulation features, we can deliver the most efficient image format and size for each specific placement and device. Additionally, this allows us to reduce the production time required from our design team, enabling them to focus more on creativity rather than on localisation tasks.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> It's great to hear how Cloudinary has helped you integrate seamlessly with your platforms and improve efficiency in delivering optimized images. We're committed to providing solutions that enable creativity and productivity.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan C. | Freelance Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I love that Cloudinary has a generous starter tier that helped our small greenfield startup get off the ground. It's great how it supports a wide range of SDKs for any language or platform, which is a huge time-saver for us as a Ruby-on-Rails platform, especially since Cloudinary supports Ruby and Rails out of the box. The UI is friendly and makes it super easy to manage and tag our uploaded assets, so we can confidently delete outdated variants without worrying about impacting production assets. Cloudinary's integration with ActiveStorage is a seamless drop-in solution, which made it extremely easy to set up by just installing it and copying their sample configuration. These features make Cloudinary incredibly valuable to our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The pricing does ramp up quickly. Once you start hitting thresholds, it gets comparatively expensive versus other solutions.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary makes it easy to store images, generate variants, and optimize them for different formats. It supports Ruby on Rails and integrates with ActiveStorage, which saves us development time. Its UI helps manage assets confidently, avoiding accidental deletions.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Flexibility to organize and share documents with a wide range of stakeholders, both individually, in collections, and in portals.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The advanced search functionality could be more intuitive. Many of our stakeholders struggle to narrow their search. Cloudinary does not offer a creative workflow option.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Auto tagging, metadata extraction, and localized alt text to improve discoverability, accessibility, and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I would prefer to only use one DAM vs. having to download from an existing DAM and reupload to Cloudinary. Hoping to get some integration between the two built in.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I immediately was able to use Cloudinary's built in AI to remove unwanted sample tags from product photography. This makes the photo editing quick and easy.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Appreciate the feedback — great to hear our AI removed unwanted sample tags quickly. Regarding your preference to avoid a separate DAM workflow: we can help with bulk import scripts, upload presets, or connector options to move assets without manual download/reupload. If you’d like, open a support ticket or reach out to your account manager and we’ll propose a migration/integration plan and log your feature request for tighter DAM integration.

  ### 40. Cloudinary makes asset management easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben M. | Developer / DevOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The digital DAM makes it easy for us to share assets across our company. The API is very robust and feature-rich, allowing us to carry out all of the dev work that's needed.

The developer support and customer support team are very knowledgable and quick to respond to any issues we have had.

The SDKs allow us to quickly and easy implement uploads into our existing system with ease.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

There is no S3-compliant APIs that allow us to modify existing credentials, we had to completely refresh our integrations which involved an element of dev time.

We have experienced a few bugs with misleading errors from the edge and CDN, which have involved a few developer support team members.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content delivery and image optimization across multiple devices.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find our digital asset management system and API robust and feature-rich. Our developer and customer support teams work hard to provide knowledgeable and quick assistance. ### 41. Intuitive, Easy-to-Use Platform with Convenient Quick URL Links

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

It is easy to use. It provides quick URL links as well.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The load/speed time. The more assets we add into the platform, the slower the search becomes to find things.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary is holding all of our company digital assets in one place, which makes finding approved imagery easy to locate.

  ### 42. Great option to store images and showcase them transformed on a website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor T. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

The ease of use, its very easy to create a transformation thats used often (named transformation) and apply it to all assets, then I can just tweak the transformation and I dont have to manually change each asset.

Documentation is clear so its easy to implement and integrate with my current React app

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

Only the price and pricing model, the storage would never go down (makes sense) but for it to be bundled on the same credits as the bandwidth and transformations it makes it more difficult to manage every month.

Customer Support answers quick whenever there are issues, however for the same issue I could be in contact with more than 5 different agents, and sometimes they dont have the same response, so I just give up.

I still dont know exactly how their caching works, since in theory once an asset and its transformation are cached on cloudflare, any request should just pick from the cache and not count towards my spending, however the daily usage is still up and down, meaning there are still calls going to cloudinary and not through the cache.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Image storage, organization and transformation to adapt to different screens sizes.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We appreciate your positive feedback on the ease of use and documentation of Cloudinary. We understand your concerns about the pricing model and the consistency of customer support. Your feedback is important to us and we will use it to enhance our services for a better customer experience.

  ### 43. Effortless Image Management, Minor UI Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcel C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I really appreciate how Cloudinary allows me to store images on the cloud with ease and retrieve them without needing to compress or edit them beforehand. The ability to store images using their API and then request them simply by calling the URL with appropriate parameters is incredibly convenient. Cloudinary handles transformations and other tasks in the background, which saves me a lot of time and effort. Furthermore, setting up Cloudinary was quite straightforward, and its integration through API calls is greatly simplified, especially with the assistance of AI. Overall, I enjoy the service a lot because it performs exceptionally well, even though I have mentioned some minor concerns.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I find the UI of Cloudinary to be somewhat complicated and feel that it could be more modern and user-friendly. Additionally, I feel that the pricing can become quite high once a certain threshold is reached.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to store images easily on the cloud, retrieve them with URL transformations, and avoid pre-editing, which simplifies image management for my open source project.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Cloudinary's image storage and retrieval features. We understand your concerns about the UI and pricing, and we're continuously working to enhance the user interface and provide flexible pricing options. We're grateful for your support in using Cloudinary for your open source project.

  ### 44. My experience with Cloudinary: Easy, efficient, and smart

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

One of the most helpful things about Cloudinary is its ease of use and intuitive platform. I feel like even non-technical users can quickly upload, organise, and optimise media without a steep learning curve. The dashboard is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to manage images and videos in one place.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

One thing I dislike about Cloudinary is that the pricing can become expensive as usage grows. As storage, bandwidth, and transformations increase, costs can rise quickly.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently Cloudinary are developing an image sorting tool which automatically sorts out pictures following a predetermined order. This significantly reduces my workload, saves time, and improves efficiency as it lets me focus on more important tasks rather than manual file management.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Cloudinary. We understand the concern about pricing, and we continuously work to provide cost-effective solutions for our users as their usage grows.

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I greatly appreciate Cloudinary for its ability to easily sort and share all our visual photos and videos, which is crucial for our campaigns that involve many different media. The sorting feature using metadata is particularly remarkable, it allows me to quickly find what I need and saves us valuable time. Moreover, the simplicity of using Cloudinary, especially during the initial setup, was very pleasant. The installation was done easily and quickly, which facilitated adoption by our team. Overall, these elements make Cloudinary very valuable for our daily activities.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

When I browse through all the visuals, they sometimes take a while to display. Improving this aspect would be a plus.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to easily store, sort, and share our visuals, which allows us to save time and improve the organization of our campaigns thanks to its ease of use and sorting by metadata.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> We're happy to hear that Cloudinary has been valuable for your campaigns. Your feedback about the slow load times is noted, and we will strive to enhance the loading speed for a better user experience.

  ### 47. Simplified Media Management with Cloudinary

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I greatly appreciate the metadata function in Cloudinary, as it allows me to efficiently sort and catalog our files. It is particularly useful for specifying vital information such as shooting dates and locations, product codes, as well as primary and secondary materials. Moreover, it facilitates the distinction between creations and raw visuals, and offers great utility for managing different file formats and orientations. By using Cloudinary, I can also avoid file duplicates and easily retrieve documents thanks to detailed metadata. This makes the display on our website and our Google campaigns much smoother and more organized.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

The video studio feature on Cloudinary does not meet all my expectations. Ideally, I would like to be able to edit videos by adding text and integrating Excel files for translation to create adapted versions for different countries. Additionally, it would be very beneficial to have basic effects and transitions available to facilitate video editing directly on Cloudinary, which would allow us to have only one visual for all our languages.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to avoid file duplicates and easily find our files through metadata, as well as to store and transform our assets for our site and campaigns.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for your feedback on the video studio feature. We appreciate your input and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

Eight months ago when I did initial review, I was using Cloudinary almost daily but not as much as I started using it about six months ago. I've been using Cloudinary much, much more these days. I'm transitioning away from creating websites for other people and building out my own websites for my own domains, which means my use of Cloudinary has skyrocketed over the last 8 - 10 months, and there are more things I can do with Cloudinary that I could have always done with Cloudinary if I'd been using as much as I'm using it now. My next big project on Cloudinary will be doing a great deal more with video hosting. I've always used it mainly with images, but Cloudinary is not limited to just working with images.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I would love to see Cloudinary add more tiers to their plans. They go from a free plan to a Plus plan, and the Plus plan is $99 a month. Many of my clients are very small business owners and/or individual bloggers not making money from their websites. Asking them to pay $99 a month to manage 10 to 100 images is too much. I always pitch the free tier of Cloudinary to my clients, but I'd love to be able to also send paying subscribers Cloudinary's way, also. The Free plan provides 25 credits per month. The Plus plan provides 225 credits per month. What if there was a 25/month plan with 75 or 100 credits and/or $45/month plan with 180 credits? I have more confidence that I could promote those types of plaid plans to my clients than the $99. As for Cloudinary itself and what it offers, there's still nothing I dislike about the service. Everything I want to do, it does and I'm discovering other things I can do now that I'm using it a great deal more.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudinary allows me to manually control my media. I don't always want every, single image or video on one of my WordPress sites to be managed by a CDN. Cloudinary gives me the flexibility to manage my media myself, and I value the ability to do that.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Twelve years of trust—that’s incredible. We’re thrilled Cloudinary continues to give you the control, flexibility, and simplicity you rely on, and it’s great to hear our support team has had your back along the way. Thanks for being such a loyal part of the Cloudinary community!

**What do you like best about Cloudinary?**

I use Cloudinary for hosting my images and videos for my website, which makes managing my content really easy and efficient. I love how I can simply upload a photo or video and grab the URL to seamlessly integrate it onto my website. It significantly optimizes my images for fast loading times, thereby improving my page speed, which is very important for user experience and SEO. What I find remarkable about Cloudinary is its ease of use, with a straightforward setup process that is frictionless and user-friendly. The image transformations are a fantastic feature, providing high versatility and customization options right out of the box. I used to use Cloudflare before, but I found Cloudinary much easier to understand and use, which I greatly appreciate. The entire experience with Cloudinary has been positive and hassle-free for my particular use case.

**What do you dislike about Cloudinary?**

I don't really dislike anything. Evertything I've wanted to use Cloudinary for I've been easily able to do.

**What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cloudinary to host images and videos easily, optimizing them for fast loading which improves my webpage speed.

**Official Response from Eugene Musebe:**

> Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that Cloudinary has made it easy for you to manage and optimize your media content for your website. We strive to provide a straightforward setup process and versatile customization options, and we're glad to hear that it has been a positive experience for you.
