## Cloudimage Reviews
  ### 1. A Powerful Yet Easy-to-Use Image Optimization Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudimage?**

I found the implementation surprisingly simple — you can get started really quickly with minimal setup. The platform delivers a clear performance boost: images are automatically resized, optimized, and served through a CDN, which makes my image-heavy pages load much faster.

The support team has also been great — they respond quickly and are genuinely helpful, which really matters when you’re integrating a technical solution like this.

I also love the flexibility of the features: automatic format conversion, responsive image sizes, CDN integration, watermarks, and more. These tools make it easy to manage visuals efficiently without sacrificing quality.

**What do you dislike about Cloudimage?**

The only real downside I’ve experienced is related to cache purging. When I update an image, it sometimes takes longer than expected for the new version to appear online. This can be a bit frustrating, especially when working on time-sensitive content or visual updates.

**What problems is Cloudimage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudimage helps solve the challenge of managing and delivering large volumes of images efficiently. Before using it, I often had to manually resize and compress images for different devices, which was both time-consuming and inconsistent.

With Cloudimage, all of that is automated — images are optimized, resized, and delivered through a fast CDN on the fly. This not only saves me a lot of time but also significantly improves website performance and user experience. My pages load faster, and I don’t have to worry about maintaining multiple image versions anymore.

  ### 2. Cloudimage offers an easy and intuitive setup process.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fritze Anne Khaye P. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloudimage?**

Easy Integration: Compatible with platforms like S3, Azure, and Firebase, Cloud image supports simple URL-based transformations, making it accessible for both developers and non-technical users.

Generous Free Tier: Offers up to 25 GB/month free, which is more than many competitors provide for early-stage or small projects.
cloudimage.io

Responsive Support: Users consistently mention fast, helpful customer service with quick turnaround times on issues.

**What do you dislike about Cloudimage?**

Dashboard Limitations: The user interface is considered dated by some, lacking features like bulk deletion of cached assets.

Scalability Costs: The free tier includes 25 GB/month, but higher usage can lead to overage fees, with rates varying by plan.

Documentation Gaps: Onboarding documentation is strong, but advanced integrations may require support assistance.

**What problems is Cloudimage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed & Performance
Problem: Large, unoptimized images can significantly slow down website loading times, leading to poor user experience and higher bounce rates.

Solution: Cloudimage optimizes images on-the-fly by resizing, compressing, and converting them into modern formats like WebP and AVIF. This optimization reduces image sizes by up to 75%, leading to faster page loads. The multi-CDN infrastructure ensures rapid delivery of images worldwide, enhancing site speed and performance.

 Cost Efficiency
Problem: Managing and optimizing large volumes of images manually is time-consuming and resource-intensive.

Solution: Cloudimage automates image optimization processes, reducing the need for manual interventions. This automation leads to significant savings in bandwidth, storage, and infrastructure costs. Additionally, the platform's AI-powered compression ensures optimal image quality without visible loss, further enhancing cost efficiency.

  ### 3. Great performance and outstanding support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés F. | Webmaster, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Cloudimage?**

We've been using Cloudimage for a while now, and the speed has noticeably improved. It's consistently faster than other options we've tried. On top of that, the pricing offers great value for the performance you get.

But, what really stands out is the customer support. Any time we have a question or issue, they’re incredibly responsive, faster and always helpful.

100% recommended it for anyone looking for a reliable and fast CDN with excellent support.

**What do you dislike about Cloudimage?**

Their WordPress plugin is in the middle of a big update and it has some points that has to be improved.

**What problems is Cloudimage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our website has ton of images since we operate in the real estate industry. As a result, fast loading times and quick image delivery are crucial for us.

  ### 4. Stellar service, but with astronomical pricing.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrik H. | Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Cloudimage?**

The Cloudimage service is really excellent and it covers all the needs we have for image transformation on our platform.
It's totally easy to manipulate and optimise the images for different use-cases.

Crazy simply to implement. Virtually within a day we were up and running on our dev. env.
Full integration + test across all all environments (loca, dev, stage, prod) was an absolute breeze.

The platform is also really easy to navigate and configure. A little feature creep if you ask me. Once you're setup, you rarely login, besides when you need to download invoices.
So, perhaps enable people for chose between simple or "all-in" technical interface?

**What do you dislike about Cloudimage?**

Using Cloudimage, we have encountered two key issues/challenges:

1. Technical (running locally)
It very difficult to make CI work in local dev environments. Actually, none of our developers ever made it work. Running on localhost or 127.0.01 never worked for us just produces 404 errors.
Quite natural however, because CI cannot download images from our local machine and persist them on their server.
It would be great with guidance on this.

2. Financial
If you run a PAY-GO tier then it easily becomes REALLY expensive. To be honest, we ended up paying ~50 EUR per month by using 60-70GB img traffic, monthly .

It actually made us switch to BunnyCDN for now.
It's subpar to CI, but we have to consider costs.
We have cut our costs by 75%
Frankly, we need to 100X our traffic to reach a price point of Cloudimage.

We still use CI for apps that are not so traffic intensive.

To conclude.
- CloudImage service i 10/10
- Easy platform to navigate.
- Too many features on the platform

**What problems is Cloudimage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We dont have to manage responsiveness of images across devices, veiwports and medias. Our users simply upload high--res image, and then we scale and optimise for all platforms.

  ### 5. Fast and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Cloudimage?**

Documentation of the service is readable and straight to the point, it's easy to integrate and it provides a nicely detailed dashboard to keep the usage under control.

**What do you dislike about Cloudimage?**

Only experienced a few downsides so far: the way the CDN works gave us a few headaches when integrating other image providers with additional parameters in the url, which turned out to break the caching mechanism; we addressed this to customer support and it was promptly solved.

**What problems is Cloudimage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our websites serves a great amount of images in different sizes depending on the specific page context or device display, so using Cloudimage simplifies our image optimisation tasks and provides a good caching layer.
