## CloudEagle Reviews
  ### 1. Real-Time Browser Warnings That Keep Sensitive Data Out of Unapproved AI Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun M. | Information Security Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

We’d written an AI usage policy like everyone else, and like everyone else, nobody read it. Meanwhile, consultants were pasting client deliverables and project briefs into personal ChatGPT accounts just to summarize them faster. With CloudEagle, if someone tries to drop sensitive content into an unapproved AI tool, they get a warning right in the browser at the moment it happens. It also points them to the approved alternative, instead of simply blocking them and leaving them frustrated.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

Honestly, the platform does what we need. Early on, though, even with 500+ integrations, a couple of our niche tools still required custom connectors, and we had to wait for those to be built. Since then, they’ve rolled out a universal integration builder that basically solves the problem—you can spin up your own connector now. I would’ve loved to have had that six months earlier, but credit to them for delivering it.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re a client services business, so our nightmare scenario is client-confidential material ending up in a consumer AI tool with a data-retention policy we never agreed to. Before this, we had essentially zero visibility into what was happening. Now we can see who’s using which AI tools, in which browser, and under which account, and the plugin can stop sensitive data from being entered before it ever leaves the machine.

  ### 2. Browser-Level Detection That Catches Personal Accounts Your IdP Misses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kithmi S. | Workplace Technology Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

It catches what your IdP can’t: personal accounts. We’d done everything right on paper—Corporate Copilot rolled out, the approved AI list published, and SSO enabled on everything we sanctioned. But none of that catches an employee signing into ChatGPT with a personal Gmail account on a work laptop. CloudEagle’s browser-level detection does. It flags the authenticated visit, makes it clear it’s a non-corporate account, and shows us who’s doing it and how often.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

It took me a moment to find my way around some of the labels at first. What I’d consider shadow app findings are listed under “external data,” and a couple of the menu names weren’t what I would have expected. Once you know where everything is, it’s really a non-issue, and to be fair, their support team walked me through it on the first call.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anything an employee enters into a personal ChatGPT account ends up in a tenant we don’t control, and when that person leaves, we can’t retrieve it. We’re pharma-adjacent, so that risk isn’t acceptable for us. Now, if someone tries to sign in with a personal account, they’re prompted to use our corporate tenant instead. Usage didn’t drop; it simply shifted to an environment we can govern. That was the goal all along—we never wanted to ban the tools, just manage them properly.

  ### 3. OAuth Visibility That Helped Us Quickly Revoke Hidden Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bonnie W. | Security Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

The OAuth app visibility alone justified the cost for us. We discovered service accounts and API tokens tied to apps that had already been offboarded from our stack but were never properly disconnected, and some of those tokens had overly broad permissions. CloudEagle provided a complete view of what was connected, who had authorized each connection, and which scopes were granted. Within the first week, we were able to revoke a bunch of access we didn’t even know existed.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

I’d like to see more automated remediation options for risky OAuth connections. Right now, the product surfaces the risk clearly, but actually revoking access still requires a manual step. For a team our size, that’s manageable, but I can see it becoming a bottleneck at larger scale.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a startup, you accumulate integrations quickly and rarely have time to clean them up. We had tokens left behind by former contractors, unused Zapier connections, and a few third-party AI tools that employees had authorized without going through IT. CloudEagle brought all of it into one place, so we could see what was out there and prioritize what to clean up based on risk level.

  ### 4. CloudEagle’s Security Scoring Transforms Vendor and Renewal Conversations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele M. | Information Security Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

The security scoring on individual apps has changed how we approach vendor conversations. We’d always had a general sense that some tools in our stack carried higher risk, but we didn’t have anything concrete to point to. CloudEagle pulls in security posture data and surfaces details like whether an app has SOC 2, whether data is encrypted at rest, and what permissions users are granting. With that added context, renewals become a completely different kind of conversation.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

I wish the vendor questionnaire data were updated a bit more frequently. Some vendor security profiles feel like they’re still pulling from older assessments rather than reflecting the most recent information. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We operate in a healthcare-adjacent space, so a vendor’s security posture isn’t optional for us. Before CloudEagle, we handled this through a mix of manual spreadsheets and periodic security reviews, which left gaps between check-ins. Now we have a continuous baseline, and if a vendor’s posture changes, we hear about it right away.

  ### 5. Eye-Opening Shadow AI Visibility Through SSO and Browser Activity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal S. | IT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

Shadow AI detection was the main reason we started evaluating this. Before CloudEagle, we had very little visibility into which AI tools people were actually using, but it surfaced them through our SSO and browser activity. Some of what we uncovered was genuinely surprising: tools with data-sharing policies we never would have approved were already embedded in day-to-day workflows across three departments.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

The initial categorization between AI and productivity tools needed some cleanup on our end. Not everything was auto-tagged the way we expected, so it took a couple of weeks to tune the labels and get them working properly.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a live map of every AI app in use across the org. It shows who’s using each tool, how often they’re using it, and whether it’s gone through any approval process. For compliance purposes alone, this was worth the investment. Before, we had to piece all of this together manually from IT tickets and expense reports.

  ### 6. Streamlining Access Reviews and Compliance with CloudEagle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin M. | Linux Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

We’ve been trialing CloudEagle, and it’s already providing great visibility into our SaaS stack. The governance features, particularly for license optimization and compliance tracking, are strong. The user interface is intuitive, which makes navigating through the platform easy. Support has been responsive, and we’re eager to see how it integrates with our workflows as we move forward in the evaluation.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

The visibility into software usage, automated compliance checks, and potential for license optimization. The interface is clean and simple to use.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously struggled with manual access reviews, which were time-consuming and prone to errors. With CloudEagle, we can now automate those processes, saving time and ensuring better accuracy in user access, which is already helping with compliance.

  ### 7. Streamlining Access Reviews and Compliance with CloudEagle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin M. | IT Head, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

During our trial, we were really impressed with how quickly CloudEagle automates access reviews. What used to take hours is now completed in minutes, and compliance reports are generated instantly. The platform is easy to implement, seamlessly integrates with our existing systems, and is very user-friendly. I find myself using it multiple times a day. Their customer support has also been excellent!

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

We’re still in the evaluation phase. Everything seems to be
working as expected so far.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously struggled with manual access reviews, which were
time-consuming and prone to errors. With CloudEagle, we can
now automate those processes, saving time and ensuring better
accuracy in user access, which is already helping with
compliance.

  ### 8. Single Dashboard That Finally Clarifies SaaS Usage and Costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

The single-dashboard feature shows every SaaS app we have, along with its usage and costs by department—exactly the things we previously struggled to track.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

The initial setup was challenging because it required coordination across different departments, such as IT, finance, and HR systems.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our biggest headache: tracking our SaaS apps. Now we can easily track every app from a single dashboard, which makes it much simpler to stay on top of everything.

  ### 9. A smooth and insightful experience with CloudEagle, the session was well-structured and engaging.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael O. | Chief of Staff, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

The renewal automation and contract data extraction are impressive, no more manual tracking or spreadsheets. The UI is clean, and the demo team made it easy to understand how the workflows would scale.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

Top of mind for me, I’d love to see even more out-of-the-box integrations with mid-market SaaS vendors so setup could be faster

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudEagle is helping solve the challenge of SaaS sprawl, vendor management, and wasted spend. Right now, we don’t have a centralized way to track contracts, renewals, or usage, which often leads to overspending and missed savings opportunities. CloudEagle closes that visibility gap by giving us one place to see SaaS usage and spend instead of relying on scattered spreadsheets. The benefit for us is tighter cost control, smarter renewals, and better visibility across tools, while also automating procurement and renewal workflows so we save time and reduce wasted spend.

  ### 10. CloudEagle Centralizes Renewals and Contracts with Smart AI Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danasta T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudEagle?**

Before CloudEagle, we missed renewals the last time, and some subscriptions were auto-renewed at higher prices. CloudEagle uses AI to pull renewal data and contract details automatically, which keeps everything centralized and alerts us early.

**What do you dislike about CloudEagle?**

Nothing to report—everything worked as expected, and all features functioned properly.

**What problems is CloudEagle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to track all of our SaaS renewals and to get reminders before the contracts expire.
