## CloudBees Reviews
  ### 1. My good Experience with CloudBee CI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean G. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Cloudbees CI's best feature is role-based access control. From the folder level down to the specific Jenkins jobs, we have the ability to separate.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Because there are a lot of unanswered questions on the forum and online.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Consider pre-tested features like this before you buy, try trying open source Jenkins in-house first, then realize how difficult it is to manage access. In this way you will consider acquiring CI.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Improve efficiency within the company's operations.
-Improve the agility of business processes
-Management of the cost of goods and services
-Make it easier for new products to reach consumers

  ### 2. Continuous integration pipeline made easier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Everything is agile in todays digital transformation world where features are dynamically changing as per the market demand and having a strong continuous integration pipeline where features can be developed and implemented without any infrastructure issue is must have this particular solution make sure ultimately the goal of continuous integration is made possible at the enterprise level.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Nothing specific to mention which I don't like about this particular solution feature rich and extremely driven solutions for CI In devops with respect to UI it needs further improvement but that is something which is not a really big problem.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in agile environment where requirements are adhoc in nature and ultimately go to market is a priority making sure we have a competitive advantage having a strong infrastructure of continuous integration pipeline is a problem which we are trying to solve leveraging this particular solution.

  ### 3. Among the best products for CI/CD in corporate environments.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago L. | Software Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The document is very thourough and helpful, the contributions for the open-source community make it not only a business decision but also a conscious decision to help the CI/CD community as a whole.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Sometimes the update system is not the best, which makes it a little annoying for seeing open-source products getting updated plug-ins before the enterprise product.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Don't be afraid to reach out to support, they are friendly and understand there's a lot of documentation and sometimes you just need a nudge in the right direction.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is the platform we use to test and deploy our whole suite of products. It makes for a seamless experience from the moment you push the code to the moment you deploy to the market.

  ### 4. Stable platform and easy to use for both engineering and product management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The stability -- performance of the product itself is most important and the flags work as expected every time.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

The interface could be improved. It's a bit of a learning curve for new employees to start using feature flags on Cloudbees.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling features for subsets of customers at a time. This helps us adapt the product itself based on customer feedback.

  ### 5. It's good... but maybe you don't need it

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

In CloudBees CI - as opposed to open source Jenkins - some management operations are simplified, specifically around plugins, for instance. At least to the extent that I used it, these features were good but did not significantly improved my life with Jenkins.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Cloudbees aims to solve a set of problems, and for many of those, since we were using Jenkins open source, we already have ways to work around; some of them are even native to Jenkins, such as the init.groovy.d, or JCasC. Sure, there is an improvement, but I do not think it's worth the price tag.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems were, like I mentioned, around management.
Specifically, more control over plugins is quite good. However, I personally already had a well-performing way of performing these upgrades by using tools that our build infrastructure team provided, so I did not notice a huge hit. Smaller teams that might not have the luxury of employing a Jenkins-dedicated engineer might benefit more from these features.

  ### 6. Decent feature rollout tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

We currently use this for feature flagging new releases within our platform. It's easy enough to build a target group based on certain attributes and update that to rollout features.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Initial load time of the Cloudbees UI, and there have been a few instances where the load of the system and updating of a feature flag has degraded the performance of our app

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solely use this from an administrative/operations side of enrolling customers in new paid features within our platform. It does the trick, but we are moving to a more expansive platform

  ### 7. The right end-to-end toolset

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Deployment Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Testing server builds locally as many times as we want until it works. It is good for orchestration as well

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

I didn't find out that CloudBees CD was good for orchestration early enough

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

By fully implementing CloudBees CD, the development team was able to automate continuous delivery and effectively monitor deployment ensuring new code is in compliance

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patching updates went from over 1 hour to under 5 minutes

Deployments are now more speedy and of high quality

  ### 8. Best in class CI tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BikalKumar J. | Tech Lead - DevSecOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

- Support parallel and simultaneously run
- user friendly interface, definately better than open source jenkins
- support cross team collaboration
- ease to configure and get going
- automate SDLC build, plan and deploy process

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Nothing but the autid and reporting support can be much better

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to move from self hosted jenkins to saas cloudbee for enterprise support and customise our pipeline better

  ### 9. Solid honest company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russell M. | Principal software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Cordinating multiple releases across dustributed teams

Pinpoint bottlenecks across every stage of the release process

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

It automates release orchestration and deployment automation so the process of releasing software is very easy and boring

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Great resources and unbeatable training program

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased revenue with faster releases that are always audit-ready

  ### 10. Amazing software delivery automation tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

- Support for cyberark integration to manage credentials which is super cool
- Provide a better-tested version to manage deployments over popular open-source CI tools such as Jenkins
- Easy to configure
- Reduced time for setting up build pipelines time over 20%
- Friendly UI

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

- A bit high end on cost
- It would be good if there is better clustering on projects
- Would expect better support for enterprise customers
- support for some version control like bitbucket not worked well

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

- If you have a small team do not want to spend too much time setting up build pipelines using Jenkins, use can try this

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Speed up the process of writing new services deployment pipelines
- Deployment of projects on different cloud providers
- Handling the cloud services works without much hustle

  ### 11. In this review, we are going over feature management and feature flags

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reham Y. | Application Track Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Launching a feature to controlled user population to validate if tge feature should be launched at all. You can roll back any feature you need to without impacting the rest of the solution.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

No dislike. Eventually we are building up to the current best practice of feature experiment.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Anyone who works on software products in any capacity needs to understand how it has enabled developers to scale their feature testing and why it matters.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing how features are developed and released progressively. Launching different versions of the same feature to see which version performs best.

  ### 12. Easy to implement and use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles G. | Senior IT Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The feature that I like the most is that the screens of the participants are immediately shrunk on the shared screen.
CloudBees CI is a simple and easy way to have the application deployed on-premises or hosted by a cloud service provider without requiring many configuration changes.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

It has worked as expected; I think the interface should be a little more intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Simplifies and accelerates the execution of automated tasks, saving time for development teams.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudBees CI is used for our daily deployments. In addition, CloudBees CI helps increase developer productivity. We use it for test automation and mobile device testing.
It also helps us cover all our automation needs.

  ### 13. CloudBees, the company that enables our success.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anri M. | Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The people at Cloudbees always strive to be at the forefront of the software industry and support their customers on the road to technological modernization. The team I got to work with is very helpful and professional.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

There is really nothing to highlight. We have some delays, but they are inherent to the size of our own projects, teams, and the companies we have acquired that have not yet finished merging with us. Cloudbees was not a stopper at any point.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Platform scalability and technological upgrade. They have a great team and solutions for both. We have started the quest for our platform upgrade and modernization.

  ### 14. Review for CloudBees CI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Few of the aspects of Cloudbees which was very useful was their security system and scalability aspect. The security system ensured that segregate jobs are with respective agents only and unauthorized user does not access that. The scalability aspect allowed for increased workload without disrupting the work. It is very easy to use and can be easily integrated with different version control providers.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

It does not provide progress/ estimated time required to build, test and deploy. It would be better if I can get the overview to highlight areas of improvement.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was used for continuous delivery purpose of the website and it had resulted in less lead time as it was easy to set up and deploy and it was easily integrated with other environment

  ### 15. Very good product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** karthikeyan r. | IT Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

It is a good CI/CI product. It has support for standard plug-ins and very good support as well. The plugins address security and performance issues.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

There are few minor bugs. The ability to restart the pipeline can be enhanced. Also need overhaul in UI to make it more user friendly

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using cloubees for CI/CD intergration for PEga BPM product. The Cloudbees CI solves the purpose

  ### 16. CloudBees- A powerful and a reliable tool for CI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen M. | Dev Ops, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Easy and effortless tway to manange Kubernetes clusters, simple and easy to User Interface (UI)
Deep & clear visibility into management of resources
Audit reports in a click of a button

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

No major issues as of now. It is indeed a great tool for beginners and with time , I guess it will be matured to tackle new challenges but updates are slow as of now.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On implementing CloudBees CI, we were able to resolve multiple issues with workflow and configuration management in producation environment. Thus, company's maintenance cost and time has been saved. On the other hand, we had automated most of the repetitive/daily tasks.

  ### 17. The deployment of the application is quick and simple.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hector M. | telecommunications engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

I like that learning to use CloudBees CI provides greater transparency and foresight in the software development and delivery process. I like that many who do not use or have not used CloudBees CI think that it only benefits the developer segment, but that is not the case, it benefits all segments of our company.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Although it is considered one of the extended versions of Jenkins, the general user interface of the dashboard is not interactive for the user and needs a significant update. It would be fantastic to have some features to track pipeline issues through the debugging function. Other CI tools are very compatible with APIs to manage the pipeline at runtime, but CloudBees CI lacks this feature.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the bees in the cloud, the expert's response is too fast and accessible, which is also useful and friendly.

  ### 18. Configuration and automation build made efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

It is an excellent solution which is scalable in today's Agile environment where continuous integration of deployment is very critical and need of an hour ultimately helping in automatic the pipeline and flexibility of adding different plug-in where deployment is possible in a continuous manner.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

The only problem is with the user interface which is getting the wall day by day and feature why is it is quite extensive in nature. And monitoring Dash board for Jenkins is missing

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So basically we use it for about Daily builds and deployment. We operate in agile environment where feature is being developed on continuous basis and time to market is very critical this is really helpful in building automation pipeline.

  ### 19. Scalable to fulfil requirements of large scale enterprises

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The Kubernetes based container template reduced the chaos of maintaining tons of plugins, and isolation of desired software with the individual container is awesome.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

I found performance issues. We face problems while spinning up the containers, and even the UI of the controller loads very slowly.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Work on the scalability of overall product performance.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have isolated the jobs of different teams to dedicated controllers, and plugin chaos was a big issue that is solved now. The Jenkinsfile source code as pipeline helped us organize and secure the definition of different jobs across the teams.

  ### 20. Very thorough and excellent solution in CI/CD Pipelines and Cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

There is a lot of Analytics packaged in which is not really available in other competing CI/CD tools. For example, application utilization data, ease of filtering by applications and services, and having proactive monitoring. Also, there are some good whitepapers and community involvement in support for the tool as well, which is nice.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

I think that the solution has a ramp-up curve but it is not too hard. I would like to see more use-case project examples since what I have been able to see and utilize gets the job done but more would be even better.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudbees helps with automation on CI/CD pipelines, and saving time in day-to-day work. It also provides more visibility in terms of the analytics of metrics that can be captured and compared across with other similar tools. The benefit is in terms of getting more understanding on the data and being more efficient.

  ### 21. continuous independent improvement to our product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keshab R. | Tech Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

simultaneous feature development behind FF

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

overwrite value getting stored in browser

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The feature difference between actual user and beta user. We also use it to independent development and production deployment for back-end and front-end.

  ### 22. The product is scalable. No crashes or freeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay. Carlo G. | Senior Systems and Web Development Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The product is definitely scalable Everything runs on the cloud. Just keep throwing more disc space, more processing power, et cetera and it won't freeze.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

It is hard for me to discuss any missing features, may be until when I discover any glitch but for now that's all.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

You should consider if you're going to implement any application whether for internal or external use

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ww have developed a simple portal in the cloud purposely for internal use.

  ### 23. Fantastic tool for Continous Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sweety Elizabeth J. | System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

The product is uniquely cloud native and provides a highly centric experience to developers. The pipeline policy enforcement for modernized pipelines helped us in designed secure CI/CD, including security features enabling us to integrate as a DevSecOps pipeline. The dool provided on demand integration on Jenkins with highly scalable features

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

We expect a huge amount of documentation and code snippets for applications like this. We were pretty dissatisfied based on the documentation. However the support was huge for the application. There was a small learning curve required to understand the application which is expected. However we did not find any huge hiccups during the same

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Highly recommend it for people who want to migrate to DevOps on the scale. Good UI

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a fully-featured solution for people who use cloud-native solutions to easily deploy and deliver continuous integration with highly scalable features that attract people who upscale and downscale at massive amounts. The product can also be hosted on own infrastructure depending on the use case. However it is highly effective and at ease, while doing on cloud.

  ### 24. Good product but lots of competition in the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

Huge array of plugins available. Pipelines have great simple visualistion. The tools is very flexible and extensibe. Account Management team are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Officially supported plugins are not always availble. Running a large installation can get expensive compared to some other tools available for much less cost.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Talk to the account team about how best to implement the tools. Look at the community plugins and support available. Also check the competition - tools is great but do you need the full blown product or can you manage to start CI/CD journey easier and cheaper.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building and deplyoing code using CI/CD pipelines. Managing infrastructure pipelines. Automation makes these tasks very efficient and easy. Turaround time has greatly increaded. Developer productivity has increased.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dwindle testing code incidents before production starts and catch bugs as they arise.

  ### 28. Best CI tool ever

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanesa I. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

It's effortless to set up at any managed Kubernetes. Before migrating our servers to Microsoft Azure, we were hosting everything at AWS. CloudBees CI deployed on AWS EKS. Migrating it to Azure AKS was very easy to do. I think being fully cloud-native is the best feature of CloudBees.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

It's still Jenkins behind the scene. Sometimes setting up some plugins and keeping them up to date is giving us headaches.

**What problems is CloudBees solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CloudBees CI to manage our develop/test/build/deploy/release pipeline. Before CloudBees, we were using Jenkins on-premise. After moving cloud entirely, we decided to use CloudBees CI on Kubernetes. It helped us to reduce build times and management overhead drastically.

  ### 30. Powerful and reliable reporting feature management and brilliant automation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ranjan R. | Global Marketing Director , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2021

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

CloudBees is a very powerful and a reliable tool that is very easy to use,and has a very user friendly interface.
I like how it mitigate risks-CI helps users to quickly set up a copy of yoir production environment and increase confidence that your code will work for your actual production environment.
It decreases time needed for code reviews-when a code has already tested through automated testing which is normally part of our CI process, the job of a code review becomes mor convenient and easy.
Catch bugs early-With every incremental release users can try out a new feature. Therefore, bugs are easy to find.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

So far so good,i like the free trial version which is very prior to new users.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**

Its cost effectiveness makes it an outstanding because every potential customer will consider it.

**What do you like best about CloudBees?**

CloudBees Feature Management is one of those tools which we want to use for ease of website management purpose, but we use several different software and try to integrate them for the purpose. Right from the beginning of the deployment phase to the actual launch of a product, we can go step by step using this fantastic tool. Some quick rollback and rollout features help us instantaneously code out a particular feature, test that within hours on some dummy servers, simulate the web response in advance, and scale things accordingly. The customer support team is actively helpful. This software saves us a lot of time, and we are having a good time with this product.

**What do you dislike about CloudBees?**

Just one disadvantage it carries - Price compared to other software in the same company and the same segment. The starting testing phase is a bit naive but not a significant factor, I would say. Everything else seems in place for us.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudBees:**
