Our experience with CloudAlly has been nothing short of frustrating. For nearly two months, we faced critical issues, and their so-called support team offered nothing but excuses and hollow promises of escalation. Not once did they proactively update us or provide a clear timeline for resolution. The lack of communication and accountability is staggering. This level of service raises serious concerns about the reliability of their platform and, frankly, makes it feel like a scam. We’ve wasted time, money, and resources trying to get answers or solutions that never came. If you value professionalism, transparency, and a functional service, look elsewhere. It performs data deduplication on the source end so that redundant data is eliminated before reaching the backup servers. What do you dislike about OpenText Cloudally Backup for Microsoft 365? I don't have any dislikes for CloudAlly Office 365 Backup as it suits our organization for the incremental backup model. It automated and proactive compliance monitoring across all our O365 accounts and no key management is required from the customer end. We can schedule automated daily backups for our O 365 Exchange Calendars, Contacts and Notes. These can be effectively tracked in its Activity Console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. CloudAlly aids with protecting our Microsoft O365 from various security issues due to human error, sync error, outages and malware detection. It acts as a regulated backup utility that governs various data regulatory laws such as GDPR and HIPAA for customer data protection. It provides excellent security audits from which we can know all the activities and modifications implemented in our O365 account in its unified activity console management. My favorite feature of CloudAlly is the automatic detection and backup of accounts. When we add or change an account, nothing has to be done with CloudAlly. The most helpful thing about CloudAlly is it is a one time set up and forget. You add it to your Office 365 accounts then it just does what is on the box. If you do need to get a file that has been deleted then it is simply a case of drilling down. A very useful feature is you can restore just one file you do not have to restore the whole directory. What problems is OpenText Cloudally Backup for Microsoft 365 solving and how is that benefiting you? We use Office 365 sync mode so all files are downloaded to the computers. This is due to slow internet connections. If a file is deleted on a local machine then it is deleted in Office 365 and difficult to get back as it is not in the recycle bin of Office 365 and finding the exact machine the file was deleted on is often very difficult. I have been using the product for about 3 years now. Once it is set up, it just works. Our solution backs up all our OneDrive data from O365 across our whole user base. CloudAlly does a nightly backup of all our data, and then send me a confirmation each morning to say whether the backup was successful, which users have been backed up, and any failures. It doesn't require any admin from me. When we add additional users to O365, it automatically picks up those users and adds them to our backup process. On the rare occasions when I have had to restore a file, it has been straight forward and accurate. And the cost is reasonable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. There is no easy way to review the costs and assess whether to optimise the backup process so that critical data is backed up frequently and less critical data is ignored. The problem we have addressed with CloudAlly is the deletion or corruption of files in One Drive which could not be recovered by Microsoft. This service provides an excellent experience when browsing your system, I love the high quality of this product to make backups without limitations, the interface has a very professional design, on the left side of the interface we can see a black border where we can see all the functions and settings once any function is punctured we can appreciate the left side of the selected function with all the options of uses, it is very easy to learn how to use, I think of all this software what I love most is its clean interface to work. CloudAlly Office 365 Backup backs up files, emails, calendars and contacts. This system is very good at providing security at all times to its users, its implementation price is quite reasonable, it has a free version that provides most of the features of the premium version, this service offers everything necessary for any IT professional focused on security to work.
