Dedicated IP Dedicated IP is safer to Use than Chrome Extensions like Waalaxy. It doesn't matter how many connections you add if your account gets banned after all. Slow and steady is better than being able to go past LinkedIn's limits and getting banned. Inbox (Lightweight CRM) This is not real-time but you can use it to message people to get that one-on-one feeling or to go into more personalized conversations with your campaign connections. You can add tags and notes, and it shows which campaign they were from in the Inbox section—really helpful. Campaign from Group URL, CSV, or Event URL You can create a list of people to send requests to just by adding a simple URL or even uploading a CSV of emails. I added a group that was active and had a list of 450 people ready to go. Explorer/Closely Surfer Chrome Extension You can find prospects and their contact information by company, title, location, and industry—chrome extension shows their contact info when you're on their profile. Warm-Up Mode and Working Hours This is meant to warm up your account to send requests—don't use LinkedIn while campaigns are running and don't try to send 20 requests at once. Stick to Warm-Up Mode and set your working hours. Multiple Campaigns & Variables You can run multiple types of campaigns—just make sure not to target the same person in multiple campaigns. There's a feature to see if someone was part of another campaign and you can exclude them if you don't want to target them. I started an outreach campaign with a custom message using their first name, and a follow-up message to be sent 2 days after they've connected with me and I've had no reply, 2. I've been trying to grow my LinkedIn but other than the content aspect, it's really time-consuming to reach out to people with the same copy-paste method. I had to edit their names and then triple-check that I didn't get the wrong person. I'm in law school, so my use is a little bit different from closing sales (hence the name Closely). So here's what I did on Closely. I'm part of a group of active professionals. 1. I started an outreach campaign with a custom message using their first name, and a follow-up message to be sent 2 days after they've connected with me and I've had no reply, 2. I pasted the LinkedIn group URL and it pulled up an audience/list of people to target for me right away. 3. I set the campaign to start and voila. All done. In the past 2 weeks, I've grown my network by 47 connections. It has sent out 84 connection requests with 47 people accepting my connection. That's a 56% success rate. Your results will vary as well. That's not even mentioning that the group is around 400 people. If it continues at this rate, I'll have around 200 connections in a month of use. That's amazing. I have tried 4 LinkedIn outreach tools and refunded them all, the reason being is their automation and sequences didn't allow to scale authentic conversations, I've worked in sales my whole career and personalisation is key in cold outreach campaigns and closely allows you to do that extremely well. Think of the most sophisticated email outreach tool, closely is that for LinkedIn, the variables and templates give you the ability to personalise the connection message at scale and automate the first message after the connection is accepted. Their scraping tool is good for beginners but not that sophisticated, it doesn't allow you to choose the job title or industry of the people before you scrape from posts, events and groups but it is relatively new so I'm sure that will come with time. another thing which is quite valuable is the ability to view and edit the final messages as the last check to make sure the variables have inserted themselves into the template in a way that feels authentic, I would really like that to be implemented. I receive solid responses typically within an hour (sometimes minutes). - They're releasing lots of features. It's new so it doesn't have everything (yet), but they clearly listen to what is requested and implement. - INBOX! I can see all accounts / and reply for all accounts in a single screen. I like that it puts my LinkedIn growth on autopilot without going crazy and getting me banned. I like the static IP and the way that they start off by warming up your account before going full speed with connections. I LOVE the team-Alex and Maria are fantastic-and I really appreciate all of the LinkedIn content on their blog and their Youtube channel. I have learned a lot of what you can and can't do on LinkedIn from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Closely? I don't really have much in the way of dislikes. I signed up knowing it was a good product with a great team. And since I had already chatted with the team I knew the roadmap and their plans for it. I bought into a great product and it is only getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you? I am using Closely to safely grow my LinkedIn without spending 3 hours a day in it. I set up some searches and campaigns and it automatically goes out to them and sends my first message. If they respond I then take over to actually chat with them. Some people are anti-automation but then they go and have their secretary or VA do all their LinkedIn. Doesn't make much sense right? Instead, I can far more cost-effectively grow my LinkedIn network by first doing the grunt work with Closely and then stepping in to do the actual personal work. If you want to run your LinkedIn in an efficient manner then get Closely. Also getting Closely for family members this year, it just makes sense to help them grow their networks. For $90, Closely provides a high-level Linkedin automation service. It helps to quickly add necessary contacts, and to automate communication (visit the Profile =\> send connection request =\> send a follow-up message). It provides a number of ways to engage the leads and turn them into the customers. Customer support is also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Closely? I wish it would be possible to have automatic restoring of sending the messages after customer's reply.
