**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

Clock Shark is super easy to use - the format is clean and clear. I like that you can move the jobs by literally clicking it and bringing it over to a new date. I like that you can colour coordinate each job. I actually love this software. I have tried to use other software's to do what Clock Shark does that do not even come close to the easiness of this one. I would recommend this software to anyone that is scheduling or setting up jobs/deliveries or whatever logistics are required. I love that the guys can upload their information to each job including pictures etc.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

The only dislike that i have is that you cannot see the entire schedule on the app version. Being the administrator and limited access to a computer when I am away from the office, this is something that would be beneficial for me to have.  

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know where all of my guys are. I don't have to look through multiple pages to find out where everyone is. It is easier to know if someone doesnt have work or if i missed scheduling someone.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

I was looking for a way to combine our employees time sheets along with job costing that would be easily accessible for those who need it, and ClockShark has delivered. We love having the options to allow each individual or crew lead clock in, along with alerts for those clocking in earlier than scheduled.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

It would be nice to allow certain admins without seeing them specifically on the time sheets.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

If your looking for ease and piece of mind when it comes to scheduling and time sheets then look no further!

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guys moving splitting up after a job has been completed and either moving on to another job or being done for the day. They are now able to record or leave notes for admins.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

The app is very easy for everyone to use and allows all staff to see in real time what their hours are.  For managers, it is very easy and quick to rectify labor accounts and print reports for payroll.  This has saved our company  hours per week that we are able to put into other projects. 

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Now hat employees can see their time sheet for the week in real time, they will come to us with questions about hours before we have had a chance to verify labor from the day before--this is not the faulty of Clock shark's app, but just something to be aware of and make your staff aware that they should allow a full 24 hours before bringing "issues" to management.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

Make your staff fully aware of your intentions for using the program and spend the time/money to train them thoroughly on it's use--this will not take much time and will make the overall process easier for your company.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving lunch reporting issues that we had when using a paper system--we use the automatic deductions and make it clear to the staff that they MUST clock for any breaks they take.  This has resulted in more accurate reporting of breaks.  Also, since this system is app based, the reporting of labor for every job is much more accurate since everyone clocks in and out of jobs as they enter or leave vs. estimating to the hour/half hour/15 minute period.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

The new 'approve' button on the time sheets where you can approve time daily per person is great. Makes approving time much easier and simple.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

One thing to improve maybe is being able to match someones' time to someone else's so you don't have to manually enter if they did not use clockshark to clock in.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

It is a great tool for tracking hours and clocking in to multiple locations/jobs throughout the day.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using time reports has helped us work on our bidding process and doing time reports has helped us improve our efficiency as we study and work on the time.

Clock Shark is easy to use both from a computer and from the App.  Time edits from the App help us to keep the records accurate and make for quick processing of payroll each week.

We have not found any difficulties with Clock Shark.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

ClockShark has been a great program for my small painting business.  My guys have their schedule ready at their fingertips, I can upload job information and pictures, I can also track where they are punching in at.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

ClockShark is continuing to improve their software.  I wish the admin app for the phone had more features and I could change items on it.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

This program will save you money for sure.  Before my guys would say they worked 9am - 5pm when in reality it was more like 9:15pm - 4:45pm or so. 

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now see at what time and what location my guys are punching in at.  The program has more than paid for itself by having accurate timeclock information.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

ClockShark's support staff have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable in our transition to their system

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

We had concerns from several employees about the indepth tracking that Clockshark imposes as well as cell phone battery drainage.  We have been able to work through several of those problems and loosened up some of the tracking so it isn't pinging their location constantly.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several employees who work off site so it is beneficial to know where they are clocking in and out.  Also, the ability to track their hours per job to determine accurate job costing is a huge benefit for us.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

We have been using clockshark for about a year now. The sheer amount of options and ease of use allow us to customize it to our needs as a company. The interface is very intuitive as is the gps function that lets any employee pull the address to google maps.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Some of our employees have older android phones and it lags. Also some older phones the schedule will not even load. I had hoped to use the scheduler but there were a few hang ups that made me stop. Mostly people not being able to access it or not getting the notifications.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are easily able to track hours for multiple jobs, see where employees are during the work day, We are able to upload pictures and notes from each employee to document the jobs.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

I really like being able to add time and task (cost code) to a job all in the same submission. And then quickly switching on the fly makes it very easy to collect more accurate up-to-date information

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

I would like to see more functionality within the Time Off management portion. It's frustrating to submit more than once when you want a friday and the following monday off. It won't split across a weekend.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating a paperless processes from what used to be time cards, time sheets, roll call and time off requests. Employees can now see PTO on their mobile devices and they really like that.

We use Clock Shark for our business and it is so versatile and helpful. The workers can clock in and out on the app, upload photos of a job site or equipment, and also include notes on what they worked on. Being able to export their timesheets each week has made my life so much easier. I'd highly recommend it!

There isn't a texting function that works with Clock Shark

The thing I like the most is I can view whos working and where they are located.
Also I can view that info from anywhere. Even when I am on vacation in Mexico.

An alarm alerting the worker to log back in from lunch would be nice.

Tracking time is so much easier then trying to have a person on site trying to do it by hnad.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

Tracking employee hours without paper timesheets is an invaluable tool. The ability to see which jobs employees are clocked into at any given moment is also fantastic.  The available reports are very helpful, although some more customization options would be nice.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Although the app is pinging every employee's location approximately every 15 minutes, during the work day, administrators are only able to see the locations at which employees clocked in or out, not their actual real time location.  For example, someone could clock in at the Smith job at 8:00 am, leave for 5 hours, come back to the jobsite, work for 3 hours, clock out at 4:00 pm, and the admin wouldn't know unless they went in to the individual's time card after they have clocked out and played through the GPSTrak. Notifications are available for clocking in or out when outside the Geofence bounds, but not for any activity in between.  Customer support is very responsive and helpful, but simple suggestions to improve productivity are not implemented in a timely manner (or at all...remains to be seen).  Reports could be much more robust and customizable. For example, the job details report includes the option to include notes (which is great), but no option to include photos (nor is there any other way to concatenate photos from a particular job.  Want to show a client progress photos from the job that your employees have uploaded? Tough tomatoes (unless you want to pay an admin to go through and individually download every single photo from every employee who worked on that job).

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

If you're still using paper time sheets, this will be a transition, but it's a pretty quick learning curve.  The reports features are fantastic for most purposes, and it seems like the company is interested in listening to feedback.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems, it works very well as designed.  No glitches or hiccups. Great benefit in eliminating paper time sheets. Reports are very useful for pulling total hours, hours by employee, and hours by task.

ClockShark is very user friendly and clutter free. Reporting payroll is much easier and a lot more efficient now. 

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

There's nothing that I don't like about this app. So far I am very happy with all it's functionality. 

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

If you aren't sure if ClockShark will work for you, give the trial period a try. I didn't think it could track all the info I needed, but with customized jobs and tasks that I get to assign, along with the note feature that accompanies every time entry, it now seems like this app can do anything. 

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a rehabilitation company and my staff is in the field most of the day. Tracking everything on paper was a nightmare and it was very difficult to get time sheets turned in on time.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

The app keeps our employees honest even when they are not.  Even after being aware that the app flags their location a few clocked in miles away from Jobsite. I received the out of bounds clock in the notification and was able to discuss with employee right away. 

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Haven't found one flaw yet. Wished we signed up sooner.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

App will pay for itself. Depending on the size of company you could save thousands a year. ClockShark is easy to use and simple set up. We started using immediately.  

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have tried Time Clock key fobs, Red Team, True paper sheets and none of them offered what Clockshark has to offer. I spend a lot less time dealing with paper timesheets. Now I let ClockShark to the hard part and verify that our employees are where they are supposed to be. I am also able to have subcontractors clock in for accountability upload their pictures, annotate updates and crew info.

The ease of use.  I tried a different app a couple years ago and I didn't like it.   This one is easy from my side as administrator and easy for my guys in the field.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

a few things we had to work out on mobile side of it.  (coverage etc.)  But we figured it out.  Also, convincing guys to use it.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

definitely easier on the administrative side.  Saves time tracking down timesheets.  Keeps things organized.  And once guys get used to it, I think they actually like it too.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

ClockShark has taken the headache out of mobile timekeeping for our business. We have tried other solutions, but ClockShark is, by far, the best solution for us.  The technology included,  features available, and ease of use for our employees make it a win-win for everyone.  It took almost no time to get everyone trained to use it properly, not to mention ClockShark's technical support staff are very patient, talented, and professional.

Nothing at all to dislike about this application!

We have solved scheduling, location, and communication issues, as well as solving  redundancy issues for other types of reporting we are required to perform.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

I like the ability to designate which jobs different employees can access. It also consolidates the time and payroll maintenance process. Another feature that I like is customer service, it is very easy to start an online chat and get help. I think it is easy to learn for most people and management functions are not complicated either.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

I really have no problem with this software. Only at the beginning it took a little time to configure everything correctly so that ClockShark worked with all our other systems and processes, but customer service was helpful and responsive during the process. Once we configure it correctly, it has been easy.

Clockshark has allowed us to have a more accurate billing in time and material work. We can also run reports that show the time for different activities, which helps with insurance reports. At any time of the day, I can log in from my desk and see a map with which you can track where they work and at what time the employees registered. It saves us money and speeds up our time sheet process, it also integrates with our accounting and payroll software for greater specificity in the cost of work.

For me, I am often disturbed without knowing at the beginning if it will take 15 seconds or 30 minutes.

I believe that in this software we should see here, in the first page,
and be able to quickly change the # job and times as we can do on a manual time card: we write the beginning (example 9; 00 hrs) but if we are disturbed (ex a 9:10 someone speaks to us about a problem, we do not stop the time exactly to the second because then we continue to work on the same job)
but if after someone else we are disturbed for another reason.

it is only after, for several reasons, that we realize later that it has been a long time that we do not work on this job and adjusts the time according to what really happened
ex. from 9: 10hrs ....

The only problem with using clock shark is crating jobs for existing customers based off of address or work orders per customer.  New jobs for existing customers has to be entered separately which could be time consuming. As to new customers they just sink over automatically to jobs. Would be great if this feature was available for new work orders or estimates entered also known as estimates in quick books 2019

The part I like the most is the live-time clock in.   I have employees who work all of the US and this really helps me keep on top of them!  I know that one of my employees was taking advantage of me and this really helps me stay on top of her. For one of my employees I can track what project she is on and how much it should be really taking her to do it.

I had one employee turned off her GPS tracker.  I would like for that feature to be mandatory on all of the employees apps.  I wish I would have found this sooner!

I looked at several other applications and this is far by the best one.  Not only is it great and easy to use the support is amazing from the ClockShark.  The staff is constantly asking if I need any help.  They offer seminars, etc.

ClockShark has given me so much more control over scheduling and timekeeping.  I really like that when I am out in the field that I can check in on my employees and if a new job comes in while I'm out, I can schedule it right then and there.  My productivity has increased dramatically.

The only issue I have had is when my installers work an overnight shift.  Depending on when they clock in and out, the hours get split between 2 days and it can be difficult to easily separate time when they work several nights in a row.

We are better able to track what our employees are doing on a day to day basis.  It has made performance reviews and tracking much more accurate than in the past.  It lets us train our employees better and see who is making progress and who needs help.  We also have an incentive program for our installers and all the details we can get from ClockShark helps us determine a fair amount for each person based on their individual performance.

This time-clock service is easy to configure, economical (only $ 30 a month, which can be paid annually), and has a GPS with good artificial intelligence, which usually has no errors. It is excellent with the management of the schedules of each employee, and to track the activity of each of them. Its control panel gives us total freedom to categorize activities and employees. 

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Sometimes the platform collapses arbitrarily. It is difficult to track expenses by employees, since clockshark is not really geared towards managing finances and budgets. In its version for mobile devices it is complicated to navigate through the control panel, which usually disappears. The color of the work boards can not be customized.

Clockshark is a very smart platform, which has been able to adapt to our business needs in a short time. We recommend it to move tasks through the work columns with ease, and in this way organize the activity of the team better. **What do you like best about ClockShark?**

The user interface is exceptionally easy to use, so whether you've been using Clockshark for a long time or it's your first day working with it, everything is logical and easy to figure out on the fly. The help section details any of the higher level functions that aren't quite as easy to figure out for new users.

The staff is passionate and knowledgeable and quick to assist with any problems you're having. I recently used the chat function to alert the staff of a bug that I noticed after a recent update, and they kept me updated every step up of the way until the problem was ultimately solved just a few days later.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

There really isn't much to dislike about using Clockshark. If there's anything frustrating about the platform at all, it's the occasional freezing. This is something I notice most often when working on scheduling. Something will get hung up, and I'll be staring at a spinning progress wheel for a minute or two if I'm lucky. Sometimes, the page never loads at all and I'm forced to start over.

I like the fact clock shark works for a timesheet clock for both our site guys and workshop.
Whilst we haven't had a chance to reap the rewards of the reporting system (Not enough data) i look forward to seeing how the costing of data will be applied.

The guys like the feature of being able to take photos of jobs when on the clock, and attached them to the job for future reference.

Integration into the Xero needs the ability to put in more pay codes, and link to tasks. Really would have liked to have better integration into Xero, as reducing payroll time was a big selling point.

Having the ability to set a pay week and a schedule week on two different times would be nice.
Our pay week is Thursday to Wednesday. But it is so much easier setting a schedule Monday-Sunday. I understand this can be manually done, but an extra setting would nice.

The kiosk should be able to have home screen show local temperatures in deg Celcius

Our company has been using ClockShark for a couple months now.
1. Customer Support has been superb. I have received a few phone calls to check in on our comfort level and familiarity with the app and website.
2. The ability to see all the work "at-a-glance" is very helpful, and versatile.
3. I like the color scheme; easy to read.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

The cost is a bit to manage. There is similar software that is free, but I feel the cost pill is offset by the customer support and reliability and features of the software.
Our company uses a payroll period from the 1st-15th of month, and 16th to "end-of-month" scheduling. It would be nice to see this as a viewing option on the mobile app.
It would be nice to see a "total hours worked" for a customized timeframe on the mobile app too.
As I've shared over the phone, it would be great to see a report option that allows the employer to view an employees total hours worked, listed on a single sheet of paper, being broken down into rows by jobs (with total hours listed on the bottom).

Finally a way to keep track of each phase of the job.  Our employees were always asked to please list how much time they were spending on each phase of the job.  By the end of the week they were always guessing.  Now they have a way to easily keep track of it.  Thank goodness its so user friendly that even some of our non technical guys can use it.

 our material pick-up guy had a problem with the app kept crashing, so I turned off the GPS and he says its not happening anymore.  Makes sense!.  The only other issue right now is that the guys forget to Clock-in or clock-out  and I have lots of editing on their time but I'm confident that they will all get used to our new set-up.  Especially when they don't get paid for their work.

I like the ease of implementing it in the company, because it allows me to see which employee is doing their work, as well as see which client is watching the projects in execution, its characteristics are unique, it allows me to create and edit each employee a few time cards , to have a more meticulous control, it is very easy to use and can access in a more spontaneous way, either from the mobile or lapto, and anywhere, helping me to simplify my workload, its interface is very fast based on the web, its mobile version speeds up the work of adding the hours worked by each employee, allowing me to see the extra hours worked by each person, and thus be able to cancel their deserved payment.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

The only negative thing is that it only allows you to enter billable payments, that is, for hours, and it has cost me a bit to calculate the extra hours to know how much is the payment of those employees, but these details are minimal, for the completeness of this software

Easy to get started. Helpful customer service to answer all your questions. Many features that make tracking and job costing a breeze. PTO requests can be submitted for approval right from the app. This really streamlines this process. It allows HR to keep track and also lets the employees see how many hours they have left and if their request was approved or denied. 

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management and job costing/profitability.  Clockshark really helps us watch our labor and manage the 75% that is operations. The scheduling tool is a great way to help the technicians know where and when they work. They can go to the app and get email notifications as well. Clockshark has also helped us streamline our paid time off request procedures by allowing the technicians to submit a request for approval right from their phones.

I love being able to see who is working on whatever project (client) and where we are spending most of our time.  It's so easy to use and even has a great app for my phone.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

If I HAVE to say something I dislike, it would be that I can only enter employees pay rates and not billable rates.  I don't bill by the hour anyway, but it would be great to see if I was hitting my goals by client.

Try it.  It is so super easy to set up and use and it might just change your life too.

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oh for sure I have been able to identify where I am spending all of my time.  I never entered my time before, but this is so easy to use, now I enter everything and keep the clock running.  Paying employees is also a snap, since I have been seeing the hours they have been working all week, so it's no surprise.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

Using the mobile app is easy and convenient.  Editing employee time cards is simple and straightforward.  Very minimal training needed.The most used job detail is the default setting making it quick and easy to clock in.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

Some areas of improvement:  The staffing agency we use for payroll requires that we have an area where each employee checks off that they were given a chance to take a break each day.  If this could be included it would be helpful. Editing in real time would be helpful, otherwise we have to wait until the next day to correct anything.  Is there a way to track mileage for our guys?

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

Use the free-trial, it's easy.  Make sure to set up all your employees and jobs prior to launching.  Don't forget tasks are important too.  Job tracking has never been more simple.  

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better job costing based on each technician outlining where and how long they were at a job site.

Most companies create a task called "Travel" and then employees will simply clock into the job they are traveling to with the task travel. So Job A - Travel for example, and then they can clock into Job A - labor, and then Job B - travel, etc.

We love the way we get so many options on time clock issues, with the GEO tracking, the perimeter options of a job, and mainly so many tabs and pull down options for employees to choose from when clocking in and out, as well as the ability for lead people to make changes on the fly in the field.

We really don't have any basic down sides at this point.  We're still coming up to speed on some functions, but the response and help from staff are amazing.

It is pretty easy to find jobs and tasks to clock into. Taking lunches and switching jobs is simple also. Creating notes to each job and attaching photos of the job is quick and easy.

I love clock shark and the ability to add multiple jobs, enter the addresses and all the information pertinent to the job. Our guys are able to pull up the job and get map directions all from this app!

That you can't use SMS instead of email to invite and register team members.

If you have been disappointed with other programs that are expensive but lack a huge feature, clock shark will not disappoint. It's so much better than T sheets and Homebase. I let our construction crew vote and it was hands down clock shark.

**What do you like best about ClockShark?**

I like being able to pull several different reports for my several different needs. This allows me to use one report to enter payroll, while using a different report for invoicing. Making the information more comprehensive for the task at hand.  I also like how easy it was to set up, and continue to use and navigate.

**What do you dislike about ClockShark?**

I would like to be able to give employee numbers, just like the job numbers. I would also like employees to be able to edit their notes after they clock out, without being able to edit their time.  Some times our guys forget to add the proper notes before they clock out.

**Recommendations to others considering ClockShark:**

Clock Shark is a great tool with a lot of helpful resources.  We originally got Clock Shark because we were concerned that some employees weren't being honest with their time.  The GPS tracking for clock in/outs helped us identify the problem people and rectify our issue. We now continue to use it because of the reporting features that allow us to use several different reports for our different purposes

**What problems is ClockShark solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The process for gathering time sheets and imputing data into payroll for my current company was taking several hours a week.  Clock shark gives me access to our employees time immediately and the reports make for easier data imputing.  However, if I were able to give employee numbers, my payroll company could also allow me to direct import the time sheets, saving a lot more time
