"Handy Video Editor Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clipchamp?

The best thing about Clipchamp is that it can be used as a web-based application loaded with a great variety of readily usable video templates. Also, it is great to have the option to be able to export the final output video in high resolutions such as 1080p, which definitely serves the video quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

The full functionality can be unlocked only by upgrading to a paid version, but the free version is very much competent. There is not much to dislike about Clipchamp as it serves the purpose well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Clipchamp?

It has easy to use features. Even a person without any prior video editing knowledge can use this product and edit videos. The raw files uploaded are listed in a well organised manner. Then while editing the video files, it is easy to edit, trim, cut the videos. Adding audio element is also with this app is eaier. Especially while adding voice hover for tutorial video the syncing is quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

It takes time to export large video files after editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful free video editor for Windows"
5/5
What do you like best about Clipchamp?

Clipchamp is very easy to use, and has lots of features but my favourite has got to be the built-in 'text to speech'. While some of the voices are a bit weird sounding, there are a few that are pretty passable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

It does seem a bit limited in functionality and somewhat clunky at times, but for what it is, I feel this is a great product! Its simplicity is one of its strengths for someone new to video editing. It can't do everything, but it does what it does well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Canva but for Videographer!"
4/5
What do you like best about Clipchamp?

Easy to use, Clipchamp provides stock photos/videos, so users don't have to be bothered to search for them. The interface is as easy as Canva, so it is not a bother to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

every time you add videos/audio, it takes too long to load the resources. The stock videos/photos that are being provided by Clipchamp, also requires time to load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Free Tool for Skilled Video Production"
5/5
What do you like best about Clipchamp?

An incredibly powerful free tool, reminiscent of the wide set of tools and editing power of Adobe Premiere Pro, Clipchamp is an efficient and cost-effective way to add incredible video to any content stream, assuming you're skilled in NLE to begin with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

For someone with no experience in non-linear video editing, the interface and tools could be overwhelming. The breadth of options and effects might scare off some amateur users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not Worth The Risk."

What do you like best about Clipchamp?

Easy to figure out how to use if you have a basic understanding of video editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

bad customer service. slow editing speeds. unreliable save feature. I work for a large financial institution, and we lost hours of work put into an entire project because of Clipchamp's unreliable backup feature. I wasn't having any technical difficulties on my end and there were no network problems with the company wifi I was using to edit. I even went the extra mile of starting an export just to make sure it saved. The next day I come back and half the work I did is gone. There is no manual save button so you are basically at their mercy if the site or app has a technical difficulty and decides for whatever reason not to save your progress. All of that could have been avoided with the option of a manual save button. To make matters worse, apparently they pick and choose which users to offer the chat feature to, even if you have a paid account which is supposed to include immediate chat support. I wasn't having any problems nor was I notified of any problems or violations with the account when Clipchamp suddenly took chat support away from our paid business account. Tested this by logging out then logging into a separate free account, and suddenly chat was available. Very weird. Not only that, but when I reached out to support via email, they followed up with a generic initial email about looking into the technical issues we were having, then I never heard from them again. I followed up several times over several days and not once did they get back to me, not even to say "hey, we're sorry but we could fix your problem." which honestly would have been better than no reply at all. Clipchamp just has overall bad customer service and is not worth the trouble and risk of unstable performance. We will no longer be using Clipchamp. The ease of use isn't even worth it. There are plenty of other easy-to-use video editing software out there, save your money and invest it in a company that's more deserving of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Online Video Editor Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clipchamp?

I like the pre-defined templates alot. The templates are not there for just name sake as they serve the purpose exactly what they have been created for and are readily available for use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clipchamp?

I would say the templates as both positive and negative because I have been using Clipchamp for a long time and I have not seen any new additions to the existing set of templates. Also, I had audio glitches at times while rendering audio to the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
