"Streamlined Case Management with Wide Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I like the wide range of features that Clio Manage has. It's nice having most of my case management stuff in one location, so I don’t have to dig for a physical file and flip through paperwork. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate how straightforward everything is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

I think on the communications tab, there should be entries for every way that you may have contact with a client. Phone call, text, email, in person meeting, etc. I would just like to see it simplified into maybe fewer tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward Yet Clunky with Categorization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I like that Clio Manage is just pretty straightforward. It helps us organize our work, including documenting phone calls and emails. This helps us keep track of our workflow and understand which tasks have been completed and which are outstanding. I find it useful for maintaining our documentation as we prepare for litigation. Setting it up was fairly easy, and we could start a new client matter and begin right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

It can get a little clunky and duplicative when it comes to the categories that Clio Manage has. For example, using correspondence or documentation are almost the same categories or one is a subpart of the other, which makes it difficult to decide how to actually sort your work. Also, some of the naming conventions or categories are a little duplicate and can be confusing with different members on the team having different interpretations. "Centralized, Easy-to-Use with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I use Clio Manage to handle all of my matters, deadlines, and docketing, providing a single place for all the information I need. I find Clio Manage offers a centralized location to store all information about a case, and it allows for easy access to documents if utilized well. I appreciate that it's cloud-based with very low technical requirements, whether you're the owner of a law firm or a user; you just log in, and everything is readily available. We keep track of matter details, dates, deadlines, notes, and communications effortlessly. One of the things I like most is the ease of use; it's really easy to set up a new matter and handle stuff. The task feature for deadlines is essential, and I value having all the details of a case or client in a single place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

Even though the tasks are pretty much the main thing we use, it still could use a better overhaul. There is an internal messaging system, but it's not good. We still need to use Slack or recently switched to ClickUp, a Slack alternative, for internal communications, and it would be great if they could somehow really combine a similar feature. "You wont regret trying out Clio!"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

The best part about Clio manage is that it has been so simple to use. Our office was able to get up and runniung very quickly, the customer support is amazing. The team at Clio continues to come out with helpful integrations, including their new AI assistant. The build in billing has been amazing and has really improved our internal processes. What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

One thing I would love to see Clio add is the ability to write cheques in the program rather than having to do it in an external program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralizes Case Management with Flexible Workflows and Seamless Clio Draft Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

Clio Manage’s greatest strength is its ability to centralize all aspects of a file in one place while remaining flexible enough to adapt to different practice areas. The matter-centric structure allows our team to manage contacts, documents, communications, deadlines, and billing within a single system, which significantly reduces fragmentation and improves efficiency.

In particular, the custom fields and integration with Clio Draft stand out. They allow us to standardize data collection and reuse that data to automate documents, which improves accuracy and reduces repetitive work. The ability to tailor the system to our workflows, rather than forcing a rigid structure, makes it highly scalable as the firm grows.

Additionally, the ease of access, clean interface, and cloud-based functionality make it practical for day-to-day use across the entire team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

One limitation with Clio Manage is the lack of efficient bulk management tools for matters. Tasks such as archiving, updating, or cleaning up large volumes of older files can be time-consuming, as there is limited ability to perform mass actions across multiple matters at once. This creates friction when trying to maintain a clean and organized system, particularly as the number of files grows.

Additionally, managing legacy data can be challenging. Older matters may not align with updated workflows or custom field structures, and there is no streamlined way to retrofit or standardize those files in bulk. As a result, ongoing system optimization requires manual effort that could be improved with more robust administrative and bulk-editing capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This is an honest review limited to time and space constraints"

What do you like best about Clio Manage?

Being able to update tasks and notes quickly and then being able to search within the notes and tasks for key words so that I can locate the information I need without delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

It would be helpful if we could put pdf/word docs in calendar events. For example, our local courts issue a notice of hearing which has the date, place, time, and if applicable, call in information for a hearing. It would be nice to put that document in the calendar event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good All-round Solution"
4/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I appreciate how Clio Manage helps us centralize and keep track of information relating to files. I find the financial management side very helpful, especially the straightforward and efficient trust request through billing process. The pieces of Clio Manage that work best for us are definitely the financial side. When we open files, sending trust requests creates a 'bill' for the retainer that gets tracked within Clio. The matter dashboard is great for tracking whether the retainer is in, and how much remains in trust. Clio Manage also has decent time-tracking tools which generate helpful data like WIP on a file, all in one place. Additionally, the initial setup of Clio Manage was pretty easy, and support is excellent. I would say that while on a function by function basis there is probably a better tool for each discrete thing that Clio does, Clio does all of those things well enough, and the convenience of having everything together in one package massively outweighs the hassle of assembling a stack of separate tools and then trying to manage the integrations and complexities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

There are a few things that Clio Manage could improve. The email integration is not bad, but it lacks a predictive element, meaning even if I have emailed the same person on a matter multiple times in a day, I still have to fill in matter information when I go to store an email to or from them in Clio. It's also difficult to search for keywords within the emails stored in Clio, making it easier to look in my email client instead. Additionally, there are some UI things that bug me also. In particular some of the fields for recording information (like Notes) are needlessly small, so you can only see a couple of lines at a time. Finally, the integrations can be a bit frustrating; there's often a persistent bug that makes them more effort to use than they're worth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Immigration Firm Tool with Growth Potential"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I like Clio Manage for its constant evolution and the addition of new tools and products. The platform is reliable. As Clio has expanded, I've adopted more of their tools into my practice, like Clio Grow, Clio Work, and Clio Draft. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

Integrating Clio Manage and Clio Grow into one platform would be a huge improvement since currently a lot of the tools offered by Clio Grow are not available in Clio Manage and vice versa. This forces users to toggle back and forth and figure out which platform to use for different tasks. I also want a customizable dashboard where important information, internal notes, and other useful details can be posted on the landing page or dashboard for each matter. I use Trello to supplement Clio Manage due to the lack of customization needed to display information that helps manage cases internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Centralized Case Management Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I like the built-in time management systems in Clio Manage. I love the dashboard because it's very easy to use. Most things are very self-explanatory and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

Workflows have been particularly difficult to use. Another thing is just having emails directly connecting. I've connected my Gmail with the Gmail add-on with Clio, but I'm not really sure how to use it. It's just been difficult to find the time to learn everything and fully integrate it. I'm also very interested in the add ons because they seem powerful, but they are priced on the higher side for small firms such as mine. It would also be helpful if pricing were more transparent upfront instead of requiring a call to get details. I was unhappy about my Clio Work free trial, as I signed up for it, but didn't have the opportunity to use it at all during the two weeks I had available. I tried to speak with Clio about getting another shot at the free trial, but they said they couldn't do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Document Management, Highly Efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clio Manage?

I like Clio Manage because I can keep everything in one place, and it is very organized, which allows everyone at the firm to more easily do their job. It allows us to easily share documents across the firm, makes it easy to track time especially with the timer, keeps up with time for billing, allows us to keep track of invoices, and keeps all of a client's matters together under their contact. No matter where I am working from, I can log into Clio and access all of the documents and I can keep all of a client's information in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Manage?

I can't think of anything personally, but I've heard from others in the firm that they would like a more integrated accounting system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
