## Cliently Reviews
  ### 1. Did not have any success with Cliently

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

The people that own and work for Cliently were very nice and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

We paid around $5,500 for two months of done-for-you service. The goal was for Cliently's team to book sales meetings with qualified prospects. They did book about 15-18 sales meetings, but almost all of these were with companies that had little or no interest in hiring someone to produce a video for them. Many of the prospects booked the meeting without even knowing what our company offers. The meeting would usually begin with a confused question such as "So, what exactly is this meeting about?" or "What does your company actually do?"

We spent a lot of time chasing down these clients after these meetings to see if we could schedule a second call, and only one or two of them had any interest in video, and none of them ended up hiring us. Part of the problem is that the meetings were booked because Cliently sent them a gift (cookies) and most of the people just booked a call because they liked the gift. While I like the guys who own the company, I felt like there was very little chance that any of these meetings would result in a new client for us, and unfortuantely, that ended up being the case.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their done-for-you service is meant to provide sales meetings. It didn't really help us, and cost us quite a bit of money.

  ### 2. A good platform to connect with your customers

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

The ability to send handwritten notes and gift cards to clients

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

My team doesn't like to work in it because it is not intuitive and hard to use. The customer support team is great and always assists with questions

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client retention mostly.

  ### 3. Amazing tool for scaling sales!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Cliently is really great for sending out cadences to prospects. It has enough flexibility to customize messaging but is powerful enough to send bulk if needed. Their "inbox in-motion" feature is worth the cost of the licence by itself.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

Nothing really - it's the bomb. If I had to say one thing it would be that they didn't write the emails for me *(but they bent over backwards to make everything come together and even offered some email ideas that led to immediate success)

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Love everything the tool does.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time amplification - I need to be able to spend time gathering prospects and need to send many emails that are personalized at once (Cliently, to me felt Salesloft-ish, only way easier to use/more intuitive and slightly more powerful.

  ### 4. Helps us manage all leads at one place and give us nice easy predictions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

- No warmup feature like gmass

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Lead Management
- See enagement
- Overall Management
- Sales predictions

  ### 5. my Sales Reps love it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

- Easy to sync with salesforce
- Lets us connect multiple emails in 1
- Get Real time engagement view and scores
- Currently AI predictions in Beta (few bugs but love predictions)

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

- Pink UI
- Less Onboarding
- Not too frequent online on chat

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Sales Reps have one platform to view all the engagement and get AI predictions for example chances of lead converting into a prospect.
- All emails sync into one account and also in one company account

  ### 6. Salesloft and Outreach better watch out!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Love that the cadence builder includes all the things I would want, plus some. Emails, phone, gifts, videos (using their own video tool for great analytics) and some nifty/creative components that are embeddable within emails that no one else has!

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

Reporting sometimes is a bit buggy, but its effective where needed

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needed a cost effective solution to prospect! We have generated over 30% of our new business pipeline the past quarter using Cliently's technology and prospecting expertise.

  ### 7. Simple automation, idiot proof

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Capital Markets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

It is very straight forward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

It did take a little extra training to make sure we were getting the most out of the platform. Wasn’t obvious from the start.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales process email automation.

  ### 8. It works like an extra person on staff for marketing and sales management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryn M. | Sales and Marketing Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

I think the relatively low price gives it a good return on investment. Cliently is a flexible system that can work with many sales pipelines and structures. The email system is great for maintaining contact with leads and existing clients in a measured way. The account panel that we work with isn't overly technical or confusing for most people. The help documents a great for getting us up to speed on how to use all of the major features.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

Cliently has been great in general, but it does take a significant amount of coordination and planning with team members to get things flowing smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Cliently is a sales and marketing solution that can give any team a considerable boost in outreach and more efficient management of sales activities. I would use it if you don't have a similar solution in place.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cliently as a hub for sales and marketing related information. We can be more accountable of all the activities and tasks that go on with each client. The email marketing is probably one of the most valuable features for us. We can design fantastic emails right within the Cliently system that properly loaded into most email software. We can also get feedback on the effectiveness of our email campaigns through the user analytics in Cliently.

  ### 9. A complete sales and client management solution that keeps me organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry P. | Sales Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

The interface of Cliently is designed in a way that made it easy for me to get started with it without much training. Most of the panels and windows and straightforward. The email automation features function very smoothly and can be programmed in a way that's meaningful for our clients. There are lots of data lists and visual charts that help me to get an broad and quick understanding of our progress as a team. Cliently also makes it easy to generate reports for a wide range of business reporting and presentation uses.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

I think when I work with more people on certain campaigns, things can start to get confusing if some people don't update their information in a timely fashion. I think there can also be more collaboration features that might allow us to have more detailed interactions about specific documents and plans we are working on.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Regardless of the type of business you're in, I find it hard to see how an information sharing and management platform like Cliently can't help. You should be able to get real time data that can help you act as soon as possible on issues that may need more attention.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Cliently email capabilities allow us to maintain quality outreach with our contact without spending much time on the email creations or distributions. Our team's overall productivity is also boosted with Cliently. We can reduce the amount of time we take to inform managers or other team members about activities that are going on with particular clients. We can also track the sales and revenue figures to decipher where more time and energy should be placed. I feel that there is also a heightened motivational and competitive factor that kicks in when using a gauged platform like Cliently.

  ### 10. This is an effective web-based control center for sales and marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wayne H. | Associate Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

The interface look of Cliently is a quality that stood out to me when I first started using it. I think the cost is rather reasonable for the types of features that we get for it. I think it's great that we can add multiple users to our Cliently account to stay connected with information in real-time. There are lots of different tools that help us to keep track of information regarding sales and related tasks. We can also set up emails to go out for marketing campaigns or to follow up after certain marketing activities or events have taken place.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

Programming everything to make sense for your business may often take some time through Cliently. I like how things work now since we already set everything up and tested lots of actions, but I didn't really like having to go through all of that trial-and-error to see what works best for us. I think there aren't enough templates that can suit different types of campaign setups.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Cliently, or a sales automation tool similar to it, can be very useful in today's fast-paced business world. You'll be able to move forward in your workflow and not have to constantly communicate with each other directly to get the most up-to-date information.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cliently very often and basically depend on it to be updated with information regarding leads and new sales and marketing activities. I think the automated emails allow us to stay in touch with leads and nurture them with information that would get them more acquainted with our services. We can have a better understanding of all activities that are going on with our contacts and be able to continue pursuing leads in a way that makes sense for each individual.

  ### 11. We can track and manage many aspects of our sales and marketing campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyson N. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Cliently can let us store and access vital information about many different elements involved with planning, executing and managing relationships with our leads and clients. The email marketing feature provides us with great email templates that let us create and build professional and thoughtful automated campaigns that let us reach out on a regular basis. All of the different windows and panels are designed neatly so that we can find information in an instant.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

I would like Cliently more if there were more detailed campaign templates that could give us more of a useful framework for building successful campaigns. I think many of the automated features are somewhat generic by default. We must devote a lot of time planning and even experimenting in order to get the timing and content right.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Cliently has been great for all angles of managing and executing marketing strategies, so I would recommend it. You can just start with a basic email marketing campaign and some tasks assignments to get your team going.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe I would be very lost if it wasn't for Cliently. Cliently allows me to stay fully informed on the status of certain tasks by many different people so that we don't do things that have maybe already been done. It cuts down on the need for us to contact each other and hold meetings. Instead of making separate calls to give the same information to two people, we can just update the information in our Cliently portal. The email campaigns have been huge for giving us a way into leads eyes without applying too much pressure.

  ### 12. We can automate several key marketing activities with Cliently

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor L. | Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Marketing personnel aren't necessarily people with solid background in computer technology and software, so it's great that Cliently is user friendly and allows us to set up many automated tasks without any complicated programming required. The main automation I like are the email campaigns. We can set the emails to flow in very specific time frames along with other actions such as displaying video for our contacts.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

I think the analytics are not as helpful as I would like when it comes to predicting campaigns that may work in the future. The analytics mainly just show our contacts' interactions with our correspondence, which is helpful to a certain degree, but doesn't really provide complete insight into the success of particular designs and wording.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Cliently is a good value marketing solution that I would recommend. It can provide many solid automated services that can ensure your message gets out to targeted contacts in a more meaningful manner. I think there are several other more expensive solutions that provide just about the same features.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company can reduce the amount of direct interactions we have with leads and contacts by using Cliently for automated emails. We can set the flow of emails to go out in a way that is as pleasant as possible for a given group of contacts. The contacts are able to receive emails periodically rather than having them piled on at random and possibly annoying times.

  ### 13. Cliently adds new dimensions to our marketing campaigns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Cliently brings an innovative take on lead marketing and outreach that freshens up our marketing arsenal and gives us more options to move based on our interactions with particular leads and existing clients. We can add physical items such as letters and postcards to give our lead and client communications a more personal touch. Cliently charges for certain services through credits, which helps us to manage and budget the services that we use.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

While Cliently does bring nice communication methods into the fold, I don't really think that it has quite the robust features I would want to use for regular client nurturing campaigns. The mailed marketing options can be great for short term campaign strategies, but I don't feel they're all that useful for wider marketing plans.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

I would say that Cliently can be a good way to bring a new take to your marketing campaigns that some of your contacts may respond well to, which could potentially lead to great conversions for leads and existing client business.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cliently has helped us to activate a broader range of lead communication more seamlessly in one platform. It has also been a good way for us to acquire quality leads that we can add to both our online and offline marketing campaigns. The campaign flows give us incredible control over how and when correspondence goes out to our contacts. We can distribute our emails in a way that is more thoughtful, measured and pleasant for our contacts.

  ### 14. Still in Development, Very Clunky and Buggy

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody F. | Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

Automate emails* with a Chrome extension (Not direct Integration)
Send Handwritten Cards

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

With Cliently you can't choose day or time for automated emails to send also the Zapier integration does not work as advertised. The company seems like a desperate attempt for funds to try to develop the program they promise. While I can respect any start-up, these guys take it up a notch in terms of desperately attempting to take every cent they can from you. They constantly prompt you to sign-up for an annual plan. The owner of the company flat-out lies to me about not offering a discount if I signed up before the trail, and charged me full price for the subscription, to only have an automated marketing email go out to a few hours later offering a 50% off discount if I signed up before the trial ended. In which I contacted them about and it was like pulling teeth to get a refund 30 days later for the 50% extra I paid. The support was lacking. When i ran into bugs in their Zapier integration they wanted me to "hand-hold" a developer's hand after already showing them via screenshare, the problem. I have better things to do with my time than to help you debug your program. The icing on the cake for me was after I canceled I had $12.00 in credits remaining in which the owner said he could not refund.I was told to I could mail myself a gift card. Mind you that the cheapest gift card is $10 (plus $8 processing fee for mailing) so not sure how I could do that. Again this was just another greedy move to get my money which I guess I am not surprised at this point. I wish I could turn back the hands of time before I ever decided to sign up for Cliently but it is what it is and all has left a bad taste in my mouth for their program and lack of customer service.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

Try a trail before you pay to sign up

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cliently advertises automation, this is why we were interested but after signing up we discovered that this program is in Beta stage at best. Many functions don't work at all or very clunky.

  ### 15. Great company database and easy to set up email sequences etc

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy W. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2017

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

The company database seems to have a lot of information about each lead - name, email address, telephone number, company size and revenue etc

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

The system seems mainly to have been built to use with a Gmail account, although you can also use your own IMAP - but this appears a little bit flakey

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding credible business leads to approach, and an automated system for contacting them

  ### 16. Great Tool for the US market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2017

**What do you like best about Cliently?**

This tool was great but even better was the honest and service we had during our conversation that this tool might not be ideal for the organizations which are operating only in Europe.

**What do you dislike about Cliently?**

The only thing which I was disappointed about was the inaccuracy of the data provided by the tool for European markets. It contains information about the right connections but was not accurate or update.

**Recommendations to others considering Cliently:**

If you're operating in the US then it's a great tool and I wouldn't think twice before investing in it. But for European markets, I'm looking forward to when they'll update their business focus to EU markets and enrich their data accuracy in EU.

**What problems is Cliently solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time consumption on finding the right contact for potential clients and partners.
