"Highly Customizable but Falls Short for Large Enterprises"
4/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I like ClickUp for its flexibility as a tool, allowing for a variety of workflows and offering nearly endless customization options. The built-in dashboarding and automations make it a pretty comprehensive solution for task management and work tracking. The dashboarding is good out of the box, and the automations solve most workflow problems one might encounter. Despite a moderate initial setup, the level of customization that can be achieved makes onboarding new users very easy, especially if set up correctly. For small to medium-sized firms, I find ClickUp to be excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I find their speed can be an issue, especially when dealing with very large datasets or task groupings. The tool's scalability is also limited, working well for organizations of around 100-200 people, but anything beyond that starts to be too much for it to handle. Additionally, ClickUp lacks a proper strategy layer, making it less scalable. It doesn't handle goal setting, roadmapping, or tying multiple projects together for long-term strategic planning very well. I can see what people are doing, but it struggles to give the big picture or assist in planning it—it's more reactive than proactive. Regarding integrations, while we stage data from the API for use in Power BI dashboards, achieving this wasn't simple. There are many other tools we'd like to integrate, but the cost-benefit is questionable at this time. Lastly, the learning curve is steep due to the high level of customization available, although once set up correctly, onboarding new users is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Simple and Effective Way to Keep Work Organised"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is that it keeps everything in one place. It makes it much easier to manage tasks, projects, deadlines and day-to-day work without having to jump between different tools. I also like how flexible it is and that you can customise it to suit the way your team works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

There is quite a lot to ClickUp, so it can take a little time to get familiar with all the features. It can feel slightly overwhelming when you first start using it, but once you get used to the platform, it becomes much easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp: incredible customization to centralize tasks, docs, goals, and chats"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is its incredible level of customization and the ability to centralize all my work. It allows me to consolidate tasks, documents, goals, and chats into a single platform, eliminating the need to use multiple applications. The different views (such as Board, List, and Gantt) perfectly adapt to my team's specific workflow, saving us hours each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

What I like least is that the learning curve can be quite steep at first. ClickUp offers so many features, views, and customization options that new users or team members may feel overwhelmed when starting. It takes time to properly set up the platform and train everyone to maintain an organized structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp Brain MAX: Incredible AI Talk-to-Text and All-in-One Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love ClickUp Brain MAX. The AI talk to text feature is incredible and works everywhere. The integrations that ClickUp has are wonderful and the functionality of having everything happening in one place is so attractive. ClickUp provides a ton of videos to learn how to use the platform, which are great for new users and I've never expanded beyond the free tier for my solo business because it offers all I need at that level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp Brain Max is a newer product and sometimes has issues when it starts up, requiring a second boot. No complaints with the PM tool itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Project Management and Team Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I use ClickUp for project management and performance/time tracking, and I really appreciate how it lets me create separate spaces for each new project. Being able to assign tasks, track time spent, and set priorities is extremely helpful, because it makes it easier for us to spot blocking tasks, set clear deadlines, and review work using statuses like approved or not approved. I also like the simple automations and the integrations with other software that ClickUp offers. The time and progress tracking are strong and fit well with our agile workspace. Overall, I find the subtasks, comments, sprint points, and task assignments particularly effective for keeping work organized and moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Sometimes I forget to set sprint points for my tasks, and I wish it would remind me. Just a push notification after I finish tracking time on a task would help if I haven't added sprint points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps Track Tasks, But Needs Feature Updates"
4/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I really love the super agent feature because it helps me keep track of everything, so I don't forget tasks. The support is also really helpful, as they respond quickly when I reach out with issues. Integrating ClickUp with Zapier and other platforms has been really helpful for our property management processes. Even though we initially found some automations and features challenging to use, we have learned a lot along the way, and we like to create dashboards that help us organize everything efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Some of the articles are not usually too clear, and I find that some features are still in development. We didn't receive updates on them, so we have to double check on our end to see if the feature is available or not. Also, I believe some of the automations and features are not really easy to use at the beginning because we were not used to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Task Management to Complete Creative Workflows"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most is the flexibility and how easily it adapts to different teams and workflows. I initially used it for basic project and task management, but over time I was able to build complete workflows that connect different departments, responsibilities, and recurring processes.

It provides a clear view of who is responsible for what, what stage each project is in, and what needs attention next. I also find the automation and AI features increasingly helpful for cutting down repetitive work, organizing information, and speeding up processes. For me, ClickUp has grown from a simple task management tool into a broader platform for managing operations and improving how teams work together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

What I dislike most about ClickUp is the pricing. It offers great value for teams, but for freelancers or individual users, some advanced features can feel expensive. If you want to use ClickUp for your daily work, personal projects, automation, or AI, moving to a higher plan may not always feel justified. I would like to see more flexible pricing options designed specifically for individual professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is a very beneficial tool but lacks details that could really enhance from a users perspective."
4/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I really like the organization of Clickup (Spaces, Boards). I also very much like the automations - these are VERY useful and assist greatly in operations day-to-day. Furthermore, I really appreciate the ability to organize multiple views in one board, set multiple columns based on needs, and leverage statuses to reflect groupings (example: approved, reworked, rework needed, brief uploaded, etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

This seems small, but when opening a task I really do not like that the box shown where you can add your text inputs (under the title, status, etc information and above the details/subtasks/action items buttons) is limited in space. Even when you expand to full screen, it doesn't show the full information / width if the texts exceed the set box parameters. This is very inconvenient and slows down my work quite a lot when it comes to briefing and managing tasks

Another example is that you cannot set / rename the deadline column whilst mantaining the deadline feature. This is annoying as users from other channels may not realize the start / end dates of assignments and instead associate the deadline with end date (whereas deadline might speak instead to date the item needs to be handed over) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Productivity Hub That’s Convenient and Easy to Use"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Its biggest strength is how it brings all the essential productivity tools together in one place. You don’t need to keep three or four different tabs open just to manage your note-taking app, Kanban charts, and Scrum boards. As a solo developer and a student, I find it especially convenient, straightforward, and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

It can be a bit resource-intensive on older hardware, like my Sony Vaio VPCEG-15FB laptop, even though I upgraded it with 16GB of RAM and an SSD. Not everyone is in a financial position to upgrade their hardware right away, so it would be a big plus if the app could run a bit smoother and lighter on these kinds of systems.
