## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. BEST Project Management and Dashboard Tool on the Planet

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina J. | Creator and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I absolutely love ClickUp from the brand customization to the collaborations on team tasks, sprints, and my fave - Dashboards! I share often on my media channels.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

the ai and how it shows up on the plan, dashboard and uses. Many times did not work and or plans are confusing and how it shows up on the page makes no sense eg dashboard / use

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prioritizing, planning, and management. Helps me stay focused + connect with team and community. Way more productive in saving my own time + scaling tasks.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

 ### 2. Flexible Goal Planning with Mind Maps and Timelines

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul J. | Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the different ways that I can plan and organise my goals. Personally I like starting off with the mind map view to brainstorm what it is that I want to achieve, and what I would need to do to make it happen, and then moving to the timeline view to actually plan everything out. I like that I can link the completion of one activity to the start of the next activity, it makes it really easy to keep all my planning up to date and aligned with my actual actions

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes I want to be able to simply stretch the amount of time given to a parent activity, and I'm not so keen on the automatic updating the child activity durations. Also, if I'm moving around child activities, it modified the parent activities. It leads to having to working in a very specific way to make sure everything is aligned, and it's not quite as intuitive as I'd like.
I also wish that I could zoom in more easily to the timeline view, as it can be easy to make mistakes when trying to enter a duration of an activity by stretching or shrinking the activity

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to plan the activities for building my business in a much simpler way and is easier to update if I've over or under estimated how long something is going to take

 ### 3. ClickUp Boosts Productivity with AI Email Refinement and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** TJ A. | Student Council Vice-President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp integrates with multiple apps and websites, and that its AI software helps cut down a significant amount of time when I’m writing emails by refining them for me. It has also boosted my performance at work by letting me spend more time on more important tasks. Its UI/UX makes the platform very easy to navigate, and whenever I need help finding my way around, customer service is always available. Lastly, what makes it even more helpful is that all of these great features come at a very reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some downsides of using ClickUp are that its AI software sometimes makes mistakes in my emails, so I have to go back and correct them, which reduces my productivity. Also, the website slows down my MacBook’s performance, and it still hasn’t integrated with all the tools I use at work, such as Google Assistant.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem ClickUp has solved for me is improving performance and productivity. Before using ClickUp, the apps I used at work were separate and hard to navigate. With ClickUp’s AI software, the websites I rely on for work, such as Slack and Google Docs, can be integrated into one cohesive place, which makes it much easier to stay organized and get things done.

 ### 4. Turns Emails into Tasks Effortlessly—A Huge Help for Staying on Top of My Inbox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor O. | Bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

My favorite feature is the direct link into my email that allows me to easily turn an email into a task. As well as being able to see in my inbox if an email has a task already assigned to it. That is extremely helpful to ensure my emails get taken care of in a timely fashion and that I am not missing something.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Admittedly, my type of work doesn't allow me to utilize all of the awesome features that ClickUp provides. I am mostly using it as a to-do list and I think because of this, all of my needs are met and I don't find myself thinking negatively of the platform nor am I wishing that a specific feature existed.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of having a scattered brain AND working in a fast-paced environment that delivers me constant interruptions. Having this available helps to keep me on task and prioritize my work week in an effective way.

 ### 5. ClickUp’s All-in-One Platform Packs Powerful Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arra A. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is the wide variety of features it offers in one platform. It combines task management, project planning, documentation, automations, dashboards, and team collaboration, so we don't have to rely on multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that ClickUp Brain requires an additional subscription. AI features are becoming an important part of modern productivity tools, so it would be great if some of the core AI functionality were included in the standard plans instead of being an extra paid add-on. Having to pay separately makes it harder for smaller teams to take full advantage of the platform's capabilities.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us stay organized by keeping all of our tasks, projects, and documentation in one place. It makes it easy to track progress, assign responsibilities, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. I also find it very helpful that we can attach multiple files directly to tasks, which keeps all the relevant documents, images, and references together. This reduces the need to search through emails or other storage platforms and makes collaboration much more efficient.

 ### 6. ClickUp Became the Operational Hub of My Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshell H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has completely changed the way I manage my business. As someone balancing a full-time career while growing multiple service brands, I needed one place to organize my tasks, projects, content calendar, SOPs, CRM, and business documentation. ClickUp has allowed me to build systems that keep everything organized and easy to manage.

There is definitely a learning curve, but that's because the platform is incredibly customizable. Once I stopped trying to use every feature and focused on building workflows that fit my business, everything started to click. I now use recurring tasks, dashboards, custom fields, and automations to keep my business running efficiently. The flexibility to grow and adapt my workspace as my business evolves has been one of its biggest strengths.

I highly recommend ClickUp to anyone looking for more than just a task manager. It's become the operational hub of my business and has helped me stay organized, consistent, and focused.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My biggest challenge was the learning curve. ClickUp is extremely powerful, but most tutorials are geared toward teams and larger organizations. As a solo business owner, I often had to translate those examples into workflows that fit a one-person operation.
I'd love to see more onboarding content and templates designed specifically for solopreneurs and small businesses. I think it would help new users get up and running much faster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, I was managing different parts of my business across multiple apps, notes, spreadsheets, and browser tabs. It was difficult to keep track of tasks, client follow-ups, content planning, documentation, and long-term projects while balancing a full-time career.

ClickUp has given me one central place to manage my business. I use it for project management, my CRM, content calendar, SOPs, recurring tasks, and business planning, while integrations with Gmail and Google Drive help keep everything connected and reduce the need to switch between multiple platforms.

I also appreciate having AI built into the workspace. It helps simplify tasks, organize information, and streamline certain actions without leaving the platform, making day-to-day work more efficient.

As a solo business owner, having everything in one place has helped me spend less time managing my business and more time growing it.

 ### 7. ClickUp’s Custom Fields and Automations Make It a Winner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakin V. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the customizability of fields and data points. In the games industry and as a community nonprofit, we work with all types of projects, initiatives, and people. I cannot get stuck with basic templates - I need to be able to craft custom fields, custom views, custom filters, and assign work and automations to streamline processes. ClickUp has been the winning product despite trying many platforms like Monday, SmartSuite, Jira, Asana, and more.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I dislike the speed of ClickUp. The speed has always been a problem since 1.0, and in 2.0 it was almost unusable for my use case. It's been better now but there are still lag spikes and issues. I really wish this was improved. Speed and stability are the MOST important factors of a platform.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves are need for tracking many different types of "tasks" - from actual TASKS, to Contacts, to Companies, to other information. ClickUp allows us to customize the data we need to keep track of; create forms to collect and process information more easily, and automations to do mundane things that eat up a small team's time. Customizability, automations, and integrations help.

 ### 8. Scales well — mind the Trash gap and Formatting limits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofía C. | GenO FY24, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The Docs feature has been the standout for me. I put together a set of recurring team rituals—a daily check-in doc plus weekly kick-off and wrap-up docs—that needed to scale indefinitely over time, and ClickUp Docs has handled that without the size or item-count limits I kept hitting in other tools. :) I originally tried doing this in Slack Canvas, which caps out at 100 items per channel, and ClickUp doesn’t seem to have that same ceiling.

The nested subpage structure, paired with the sticky Table of Contents, has been especially helpful. Rather than scrolling through months of daily entries, I simply add a Header for each new day and the TOC automatically generates a clickable index, with essentially zero manual upkeep. Collapsible headings (at any heading level, not just dedicated toggle blocks) have also given me the flexibility to keep sections tidy while still making the important parts visually prominent.

Page Templates have saved me real time on repetitive setup. I created one template per ritual—structured with sections, checklists, and tables—and now I can apply it in seconds instead of rebuilding the layout from scratch every time.

Note: so far my experience is limited to the Docs feature, so I can’t speak to Integrations, Performance, Pricing/ROI, Support/Onboarding, or AI/Intelligence.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest pain point by far is what happens when a Folder is deleted: its contents (Docs, pages) don’t get their own entries in the Trash, and restoring the folder only brings back an empty shell. I lost several fully built Docs this way with no way to recover them, even though I checked the Trash within minutes. This feels like a genuine data-loss risk, not just an inconvenience. A good fix would be for deleted folder contents to show up as individually restorable Trash items, the same way individual pages already do when they’re deleted directly.

Beyond that, there are a few smaller but consistent friction points with Docs formatting and structure:

1 Tables can’t be nested inside toggle lists, which forced me to leave several sections permanently expanded when I wanted them collapsible.
2 Toggle list titles also can’t be resized or bolded the way headings can, so if I want a section to be both collapsible and visually prominent, I have to use a Heading instead—which comes with a side effect (see below).
3 There’s also only one divider style available (a fixed solid line with fixed thickness and color), with no variants for visually distinguishing different kinds of section breaks.

4 The automatic Table of Contents pulls in every heading level, with no way to filter by level. I wanted an index of only top-level entries (dates), but any subheading I use to organize content underneath also gets pulled into the TOC and clutters it.
5 Page Templates only work cleanly on blank pages as well—applying one to a page that already has content creates a separate subpage instead of inserting into the existing page, which limits how useful templates are for a single, continuously growing doc.

6 Finally, a Doc seems to support only one location type at a time: either pinned in the Sidebar or attached as a Folder/Space location (which is what populates the Overview widget’s Docs card), but not both at once. I had to choose one and give up the other.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a reliable home for recurring team rituals (a Daily Overview plus weekly Monday Kick-Off / Friday Wrap-Up docs, shared with my manager). I initially looked at Slack Canvas, but it caps out at 100 items per channel, which isn’t workable when daily entries accumulate over months.

ClickUp Docs solved this for me: each ritual now lives in a single, continuously growing doc with no item limit. Using headers for each entry, along with the sticky TOC, gives me an auto-updating, clickable index with essentially zero manual upkeep. Page Templates also help a lot—neither of us has to rebuild the layout every time; we just copy the template and fill in the details.

The net result is one scalable system that stays organized on its own and takes minimal effort to keep consistent, which fixes the exact issue that made Slack Canvas a dead end for this use case.

Note: this is based on my experience with the Docs feature specifically.

 ### 9. Phenomenal Training and an All-in-One Project Hub That Saves Hours

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tayla S. | Sr Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

In the beginning, I was quite concerned about learning about this massive Project Management tool, but the training we received from multiple gurus was phenomenal!

What's super helpful about ClickUp is that everything is in one place! All documents that I needed to complete before, across multiple applications and platforms to get a project started, are now integrated into a single program.

As a PM, ClickUp as a management tool makes my life so much smoother in terms of catching up on where each project is at every step of the way. The automations from status to status and board to board are a game changer, not to mention BRAIN (their AI tool) provides high level statuses of my projects, which saves me hours each week.

We've integrated multiple other programs into ClickUp as well and the usability and performance of ClickUp haven't suffered in the least. Gigs, probably terabytes of data have seamlessly fit into this PM program.

That in itself, I believe, makes ClickUp well worth the money. I would 100% recommend this tool to my colleagues in the field.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only downside about ClickUp is that if I want to use BRAIN, every single user that is loaded as a user in our company, needs to pay for the use. We cannot pick and choose. I would suggest that we could be allowed to choose how many members get to use the tool

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is the one-stop-shop for my project management tools. I dont need to fill out a form in one tool, track it in another, and report on it in another. I am able to do all things through this one program

 ### 10. ClickUp’s Workflow Features Keep Everything Organized & Efficeinet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley O. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The workflow features in ClickUp that provide visibility—something emails and paper just don’t—are what I’m most excited about. In our organization, things fall through the cracks every day because emails and paperwork don’t always end up in the right place or reach the right people. Even just two months in, ClickUp is already helping us spot gaps and fix them, and it’s also showing us that there are better, more efficient ways to get the same work done. This is helping us save money we were loosing + showing the performance of the team we have in place. The integrations with other platforms we were already using was a great bonus that made implementation quicker and less scary for our teams. The AI features with Brain and Super agents have been huge in helping us build our space out correctly. We opted for the onboarding support plan and it has been a gamechanger in getting our space built out correctly in a quick way to ensure we got the most out of our investment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There was a bit of a learning curve and understanding the spaces but thats really my only thought. It's not a dislike, just a learning curve which comes with anything! ClickUp U + our onboarding team helped us get over that curve in no time!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could spend all day listing the things ClickUp is helping us solve in the short time we have been using it. I think the more that we do in ClickUp, the more we will continue to find that we can use it for!

 ### 11. Clean Views, Powerful Dashboards, and Standout Support—ClickUp Handles Heavy Workloads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana R. | Ejecutivo de cuentas, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the clean view, especially for crowded minds like mine as a Client Success Manager, being able to have a clean look and then set it up at my linking is the best :)

I also like the integrations and future thinking of open API that can connect our team's tools and adapt the platform to better serve us

In terms of the quick navigation menu I love to navigate trough my folder and list, however, I have to say I hate the search bar, I feel it is not functional to open a little mini tab instead of just showing the dropdown of the matches for the search, also, I have a really hard time when my team send the task link since it won't open on the app directly but in the search engine (google) where I have to log in and is just not so easy to navigate.

The pricing is good for our team, we are ones to say that a software is jsut a platform once we can make more money out of it than what it costs us and CLickUp definelty does that for us.

We have been lately exploring the AI and Brain tools, we are really into the dashboards but have noticed that some of the things we have though AI would be helpful for us are more easy to solve integrating our own AI tool rather than using ClickUp's, for example, we want to have a "babysitter" that follows up with our teammates when certain parameters are met but we'd like that to come in the chat as part of our team but it would just put the AI agent's name. So those are some tricks that we'd like to have but Clickup is not still there.

I have to mention that I have used multiple platforms in the past and ClickUp has been the only one really investing time and efforts on their support, specially with their constat updates and improvements is just not about launching stuff, is creating learning spaces where you actually get to have your users use those tools, supper helpful always.

Well, overall Clickup is the wonder for today's project management, it works with the heavy workloads, gives me all kinds of views, filters and dahsboards to help me better understand the status of our business and even the risks we might be having looking forward, their support team is doing wonders and I have never though of going anyother platform, this is the one for me. It will never miss a task for me, no matter how heavy, interlinked or bussy it gets. Thanks Clickupt team :)

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think there's somehow a little bug that has been showing me task statuses oddly, for example,if I change a status of a task or subtask today earlier in the day, it won't show correctly till tomorrow on a quick view, but if I open the task then the details would be correctly listed.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us keeping a real life list and avoiding the assumptions out of our team. It also helps us follow up with whoever is not doing their job on time or that needs a lot of adjustment rounds for example. We used to have Microsoft Planner, and it was just a PITA, the traveling tasks, no real view of the status of the whole team, not even controlling if the team is accessing the platforms or reading the details. This has been a change from earth to heaven.

 ### 12. ClickUp is essential for organizing tasks, sprints, and projects in one place.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo E. | Product Design Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp daily to organize my activities, track the demands of the Product and Design team, prioritize tasks, and manage the progress of projects. I centralize documentation, monitor the status of deliveries, participate in sprint planning, and use comments and checklists to maintain alignment with the team. ClickUp is the main tool for managing my activities and tracking the workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Although very comprehensive, ClickUp can be complex and sometimes slow. Navigation, search, and some settings could be simpler and more intuitive, reducing the learning curve and making daily tasks faster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

resolve mainly the organization of work and the monitoring of deliveries. With it, I can prioritize tasks, track the progress of projects, centralize information, and collaborate with the team in one place. This increases my productivity, reduces rework, and improves the visibility of what needs to be done.

 ### 13. Lots of Flexibility with Clickup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura O. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how it brings everything into one place so I don't have to keep switching between separate apps. I can customize how I look at my work whether as a list, a board, or a calendar and track docs, tasks, and time together. It gives me total flexibility to organize projects exactly how I want without paying for a dozen different tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

what i don't like about clickup is how cluttered and laggy it can get. there are way too many features, so setting it up takes forever and it's super easy to overcomplicate things. the mobile app sucks compared to desktop, and honestly, half the time it feels like i'm spending more energy managing the tool than actually getting stuff done.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main problem clickup solves is tool sprawl. it replaces having to switch between five different apps for tasks, docs, chat, and time tracking by putting everything in one spot. for me, that saves time, keeps my work organized, and gives me full control over how i view and manage my projects without losing track of details.

 ### 14. ClickUp’s All-in-One Flexibility That Saves Our Team Hours

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kameron M. | Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is its extreme customizability and all-in-one nature. Having tasks, docs, whiteboards, and goals in a single platform eliminates the need to context-switch between multiple apps, saving our team hours each week. The ability to switch seamlessly between List, Board, Gantt, and Calendar views lets every team member work in the layout that suits them best, while native automations handle our routine status updates effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Due to ClickUp's vast feature set, the initial setup and learning curve can be steep for new team members. The interface can sometimes feel cluttered or overwhelming with so many menus, options, and settings. Streamlining default onboarding templates and simplifying the navigation menus would significantly improve the user experience for non-technical users.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, our team struggled with fragmented communication across multiple tools, leading to lost action items and poor project visibility. ClickUp consolidated our task management, documentation, and project tracking into one central hub. As a result, we've reduced app-switching, saved roughly 3 to 5 hours per employee each week on administrative overhead, and ensured real-time alignment across all departments.

 ### 15. A Reliable Tool for Organising Projects and Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth K. | Field Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp helps me keep my personal and academic projects organised in one place. I can create tasks, break them down into subtasks, set due dates, and track my progress as I go. The customisable layouts and reminders make it easier to stay on top of deadlines, so I don’t feel overwhelmed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest challenge for me was the learning curve. ClickUp has a lot of features, which is a plus, but it can make the interface feel crowded and a bit overwhelming at first. Finding specific settings sometimes takes longer than I expect, and occasional performance slowdowns can also affect the overall experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although I mainly use ClickUp for personal and academic projects rather than for running a business, it still helps me tackle organisation and project-management challenges. Keeping tasks, documents, and project timelines all in one platform cuts down on switching between different tools, which makes it easier for me to stay focused and get my work done on time.

 ### 16. ClickUp Streamlines Project Tracking and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos P. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it helps organize and track tasks and subtasks throughout the entire project lifecycle. The hierarchical structure makes it easy to break down complex projects into manageable work items, giving everyone clear visibility into priorities, ownership, and progress.

Collaboration is another standout feature. Having multiple team members working on the same task, sharing updates, leaving comments, and tracking progress in one place has significantly improved communication and reduced the need for long email threads or separate meetings.

The integrations are excellent, especially with email and other business applications, making it easy to centralize work and automate repetitive processes. This has streamlined our workflow and saved time across different teams.

From a performance perspective, the web application is fast, responsive, and very reliable for day-to-day work. The Windows desktop application could be improved, as it sometimes feels less optimized than the web version, but it does not prevent us from being productive.

Although I don't have visibility into the pricing or support experience because the licenses are managed by my company, the onboarding experience was very smooth. The platform is intuitive, and new users can become productive quickly.

Finally, ClickUp AI has been a great addition. It is especially useful for generating structured task lists and breaking down larger initiatives into actionable tasks, helping teams get started faster and maintain consistency in project planning. Overall, ClickUp has become an essential part of our daily workflow and has significantly improved productivity and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The performance on the desktop app could be better, and about de UI, it'll be better if we could personilize a little more

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has addressed one of our biggest challenges: keeping projects organized while ensuring everyone has clear visibility into tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines. Before we started using it, tracking work across different teams and managing complex projects was far more difficult, which often created communication gaps and led to duplicated effort.

With ClickUp, we can break projects down into tasks and subtasks, assign work to multiple contributors, and monitor progress in real time. This has strengthened collaboration, improved accountability, and made it much easier to spot bottlenecks early—before they affect delivery.

The integrations with email and other business applications have also helped reduce context switching by keeping related information connected in one place. On top of that, ClickUp AI helps us quickly generate well-structured task breakdowns, speeding up project planning and helping ensure nothing important gets missed.

Overall, our team is more organized, communication is more transparent, and we deliver work more efficiently, with better visibility across all ongoing projects.

 ### 17. ne Tool That Replaced Our Scattered SEO Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul A. | SEO Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As an SEO team lead, ClickUp has made it much easier to manage content calendars, keyword research, and link-building tasks in one place. Switching between List, Board, and Gantt views lets me tailor how I track work for my team versus stakeholders, automations have cut down on manual status-update busywork, and linking Docs directly to tasks keeps our SOPs and content briefs right where the work happens. It's replaced several disconnected tools we used to juggle and made cross-team visibility into SEO deliverables much smoother.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest downside is the learning curve, ClickUp has so much depth and so many configuration options that it took our team a bit of time to get comfortable setting up views, automations, and permissions the way we wanted. A more guided onboarding flow for new users would help teams get to full productivity faster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, our 6-10 person SEO team was juggling spreadsheets and Google Docs to track keyword research, content calendars, and audit tasks, which meant work was constantly scattered across different files with no single source of truth. ClickUp solved that by bringing task tracking, deadlines, and documentation into one connected system. Now everyone can see what's in progress, who owns what, and how it ties back to our broader content strategy, instead of us manually cross-checking spreadsheets to figure out status.

 ### 18. ClickUp Makes Managing Daily Tasks Much Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sneha S. | SDE1, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

One thing that really stands out to me about ClickUp is how smoothly it fits into my everyday workflow. Keeping track of assigned tickets, priorities, and progress is simple, and the UI feels easy to navigate. The integrations work well with other tools, performance is consistent, and getting started doesn’t feel complicated. I also find the automation and AI features helpful for saving time on repetitive tasks. Overall, it offers good value and makes managing work much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside for me is that ClickUp can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many features and options. Some pages can also take a little time to load, especially when there are a lot of tasks. While the integrations and AI features are useful, setting them up and getting the most out of them can take some time. The pricing can also feel a little high if you only need the basic features, and the onboarding could be simpler for new users.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp mainly solves the problem of keeping track of multiple tasks and priorities in one place. It helps me clearly see what’s assigned to me, what needs immediate attention, and how each task is progressing. This saves me time, reduces the chances of missing deadlines, and makes it much easier to stay organised and manage my day-to-day work.

 ### 19. Completely changed how I manage projects and clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gragg Adv P. | Director of Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I love most is how customizable it is. We use different views depending on the project, automate repetitive tasks, create dashboards to track progress, and organize everything from content calendars to client onboarding. The flexibility means we can build workflows that actually fit how our team works instead of changing our processes to match the software.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If I had one suggestion, it would be that the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming at first. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you invest a little time setting everything up, it becomes an incredibly powerful tool.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've tried a lot of project management platforms over the years, but ClickUp is the first one that truly clicked for our team. As a Social Media Director managing multiple clients, campaigns, deadlines, creative requests, and meetings, I needed a system that could handle everything in one place—and ClickUp absolutely delivers.

 ### 20. Intuitive Time Tracking, Helpful Dashboards, and Fast Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damian Z. | Freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Time tracking helps me stay on track at work. The dashboards give me the best overview of my week and daily schedule. I also love the flexible options for creating lists and folders because they allow me to structure everything in a way that works for me. Being able to write documents directly in the app is an added bonus that helps me keep everything in one place. Overall, the interface is very intuitive. Very good and fast support with any questions. The interfaces are also easy to use, which makes setting up external automations simple for me. Sometimes the dashboards load a bit slowly, which is a little annoying.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the dashboards load a bit slowly, which is a little annoying. I think the pricing is fair, but as a power user, I would like to see even better discounts.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely the overview of my tasks across multiple projects, as things can easily get overwhelming. That said, it’s great that you can still dive into each individual project to see what’s going on. The various views, along with filters and groupings, also help me immensely to stay organized. The ability to set custom task types is another feature that is really well done.

 ### 21. ClickUp: Complete, Intuitive, and Versatile

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mar d. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how easy ClickUp is to use and the many extra options it has. It's very practical to be able to link tasks together and create tasks and subtasks, which helps me maintain order and chronology. The folders, reminders, and deadlines are functional and useful, and I feel like nothing is missing. Additionally, I switched to ClickUp from Trello because it has many more features and is more practical for monthly and daily planning.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would like to be able to customize the aesthetics of some things more, but it's not something that prevents me from working.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:**

Even at first, it can seem a little bit complex if you are not familiar with the environment, but it's extremely useful once you understand all the different tools it provides.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize my work tasks, keep ideas organized, and not forget important tasks by seeing them visually.

 ### 22. Clickup - If it ain't in there, it doesn't get done!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah H. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Clickup is hands-down one of the most flexible task mangement products I've ever used. It's also managed to escape the 'jack of all trades, master of none' traps that a lot of software that promises the world falls into. It's both flexible, and effective! It's easy to configure, it integrates well with my calendar and email, and it's very cost effective. The free tier is quite generous and when you outgrow it, it doesn't cost the earth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's fallen into the trap of pushing AI like it's the best thing in the world, and I wish that was a little easier to disable, but that's not the end ofthe world.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am self employed with multiple clients, I volunteer with 3 organisations, and I have 2 kids. Clickup helps me track what needs to be done, when it needs to be done by, and prioritise which needs attention.

 ### 23. ClickUp Simplifies Projects with Templates, Collaboration, and Centralized Files

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriana (Adri) L. | Creator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Clickup has made tracking projects so simple which is amazing for the complex amount of tasks for each project. It allows our team to see where the project is at any point and communicate with each other within the app. We also utilize the templates which have really helped with onboarding and training. We can create a very detailed template with instructions that can easily be deleted or overwritten but are there for detailed processes that are not done often enough to easily remember each step. I also love that we can save attachments and emails to help when someone takes over a project. No searching through emails - everything needed is under the project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While I really enjoy ClickUp I do not like the search feature. I constant ask the AI Brian to search things on accident because the button is placed where you would normally see a "search" or "go" button. I wish it was separate search bar and did not pop up constantly.

It would also be nice to find a way to organize complete tasks into folders so we can reference them but not have to scroll through 93 lines. This would be especially helpful with tracking social media so we could see year by year the topics we covered but then collapse when we don't need it. If there is way to do it then I couldn't find it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp changed how I looked at project management. Before working with it I had only used Kanban boards and while it can be similar the ability to leave notes and have full conversations under a task, while being able to save all the documents, images, and emails has really cut down on the time spent searching Outlook.

As I mentioned before the ability to set up templates for different projects has really helped. I am trying to set up a template with detailed instructions on how to do the project to use as a guide and then a minimal version with no instructions but still has all the vital tasks listed.

This has saved a lot of time onboarding because people are able to figure out the process and what to do from previous projects or the templates with information that can be figured out. Like a checklist for what to do with deliverables or naming conventions.

 ### 24. ClickUp Became Our Team’s Main Hub With Seamless Google Workspace Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen E. | Founder / CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate ClickUp’s connectivity and how it has grown into the main hub my team uses to communicate and organize our work. I also love how ClickUp integrates with my Google Workspace and other platforms, making it easy for my team to stay aligned and work smoothly at a high level. So far, ClickUp’s improved performance hasn’t led to price hikes the way it has with other platforms, and the overall versatility is incredible.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp definitely came with a learning curve, and there are still aspects that, to be honest, I’m not sure I’m using correctly. Setup and onboarding weren’t the easiest, and after coming from Asana it took me a few years to feel fully comfortable. I also tried using the AI and the meeting notes, but they didn’t have the capabilities I was looking for. At times it feels like it has a mind of its own and delivers things I don’t want when I try to use the Brain.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using ClickUp gave my team the hub we needed to centralize our client/project work and communications instead of working from emails and random lists. The dashboards and the filtered lists at the Space level are so helpful to give me, the business owner, insight into how and when my team is working.

 ### 25. ClickUp Keeps Our Agency Workflow Organized in One Flexible Hub

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoli H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it brings our entire agency workflow into one place. We’re able to manage tasks, deadlines, responsibilities, documentation, and recurring processes all within the same system, which keeps everything organized and easy to track. Its flexibility also makes a big difference: we can tailor views, custom fields, and workflows to fit the needs of each client and each team member. On top of that, the wide range of integrations really helps create a smooth, efficient experience by connecting ClickUp with the other tools we rely on every day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike most about ClickUp is that it can feel slow at times, particularly when I’m working in more complex workspaces. Its flexibility is definitely a major strength, but because nearly everything can be customized, it’s also easy to overcomplicate the setup if there aren’t clear internal rules in place. Another downside is that some core features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can get expensive as the team grows. On top of that, the AI features require a separate paid add-on, which further increases the overall cost.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us centralize almost every part of our business, so I can view tasks, responsibilities, deadlines, documentation, and performance data all in one place. With its integrations, information from different tools can be searched and accessed through a single central system, which saves time and reduces fragmentation.

We use customized workflows for CRM, service delivery, finance, and various internal departments. Each area can be configured independently, and the platform is flexible enough to work well for private task and project management too.

ClickUp also helps us track monthly revenue by client, monitor team performance through dashboards, and analyze time-based activity so we can see who worked on which tasks and for how long. Overall, this gives us stronger operational visibility, clearer accountability, and more reliable data for capacity planning and day-to-day business decisions.

 ### 26. Indispensable for Planning and Organization, With Rapid Development and Strong AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack A. | adviseur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp because of the speed at which they develop and the way it aligns with the end users. The amazing capabilities of AI really make it possible to generate automatic reports, create overviews, and provide insights that help in organizing work. The installation was really super simple and setting up a new environment is quite easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the items that has been on my wish list for a long time is the ability to better record people's vacations in ClickUp. This way, you can plan even better. Furthermore, I must say that most of the things I have submitted over the last 7 to 8 years are now included in the standard software.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for planning people and work, both planned and unplanned work. It helps to gain insights and organize systematically within the organization.

 ### 27. Simple and user-friendly interface, ideal for dividing complex tasks into subtasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel V. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Viewing it in the form of a planner, the truth is that the interface is very simple to understand and how the activities are linked from one to another, the interface is quite user-friendly when I show it to my coworkers. I like that you can assign several people to a project and by task, and for each task, there can be subtasks. In this case, this is very useful to me because sometimes I am assigned very complex tasks and I have to apply "divide and conquer," so I create subtasks for that specific task and solve them one at a time, which helps me maintain a rhythm.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The way files are saved, I feel, could be organized in a better way by project. Right now, they are uploaded without order, without tags.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to manage my time for each task and how to coordinate with other areas on which certain tasks depend, I like this because that way we know exactly if another area is having problems and we can reach a resolution together.

 ### 28. ClickUp Boosts Productivity with AI, Dashboards, and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana H. | Director of Operations, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Sometimes I have an idea of how I want to lay out my tasks and other times I need a little help, so I like to use AI to ask questions and receive suggestions that help my brain process how that might look like. For the price I pay for my personal account, it covers a lot that includes integrations for my calendar, email, and other apps.

When it comes to my work account, it's a tremendous help in day-to-day tasks, especially when I need to know which tasks have relationships with each other and allows me to create and view dashboards that helps with metrics. Knowing that I can start a Zoom call straight from my Planner within ClickUp, as well as using the AI Notetaker, creates an efficiency that I wouldn't normally get from other apps.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve can be difficult and I appreciate that there are free videos on YouTube and ClickUp University. I think there are some improvements that can be made in the automation process (checklist vs task/subtask, reporting) and sometimes it takes a while for a page to load. Expanding the transcript in an AI Notetaker doc after a meeting can also drag performance and loading.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reframing the structure of how we lay out specific tasks, as well as being able to do many things without having to leave ClickUp reduces the number of open tabs for everybody.

 ### 29. ClickUp Turned Our Business Chaos into a Fine-Tuned Deal Machine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethanna R. | Executive Administrative Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Our favorite feature of ClickUp is the high level of customization that allows us to tailor the program to our business and workflows. I am able to set up Spaces, Lists, and even AI Agents that work for our small business in ways that every employee can use to stay in the loop.

We rely on the email integration with Outlook to keep client and vendor communication automatically attached to every deal, alongside relevant documents, notes, and assignments.

The program performs well in both the browser and app, handling enormous lists full of content without lag or other issues. I'm not exaggerating when I say we run our entire multimillion dollar small business in ClickUp.

Our CEO is very cost-conscious and was skeptical when I introduced him to ClickUp, but it has transformed our business chaos into a fine-tuned deal machine where everyone has access to all necessary information and clear assignments at all times. The cost per subscription, ability to add or reduce seats as needed, and the different tiers for AI add-ons make it easy to meet our needs without paying too much.

I'm our in-house ClickUp expert, having used the program for years before introducing it to my current company. Still, the onboarding tutorials and ClickUp University make it so simple to train employees on features. We've reached out to support with a few bugs here and there, and they are always very responsive, which we appreciate.

Nothing but good things to say. I honestly don't know what this business would do without ClickUp as we scale into a mid-size company. 10/10.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As our customizations and automations grow, we really need to restructure some things. I wish there was a sandbox where we could rebuild instead of doing it inside the active workspace.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attachments from emails, especially silly ones like email signatures, re-attach to tasks throughout the back-and-forth. That can really clutter things up, but I know it's an issue they're working on because it's in the roadmap. One of the best things for our long-term confidence in ClickUp is the ability to request and vote on features and fixes, and see ClickUp respond to the feedback and place things on the roadmap. It makes us confident in sticking with the program because we can see where our feedback as a user community is shaping the program we use everyday and what is coming next.

 ### 30. Easy-to-Use Workspaces for Marketing and Fundraising—Fast, Affordable, and Shareable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy N. | Director of Marketing & Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how easy it is to use, and how easy it is to create workspaces for each area of my job. I do both fundraising and marketing in my role so it is a lot ot keep track of. I have a calendar just for social media and am able to keep track of what I post on each platform along with taks lists, and my marketing calendar which I can easily shoare with others. I work at a nonprofit so it is a low cost option for a system that I can get approved annually. The system is easy to use and loads quickly. I also like that it has an app as well. I don't use as many features as it offers since I don't have any other systems to integrete to it but it is great for how I use it. I also like the free webinars and trainings that are offered.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It is easy to turn on the AI piece of the description by adding a forward dash and I don't use it so it sometimes takes a bit to clear. It's not earth shatting but just sometimes is a bit annoying.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep organized, plan my social media calendar months in advance while writing the content, looking at what I have posted, and adding images as I have them. I also like the task lists for when I am planning events to ensure I don't miss anything.

 ### 31. Flexible All-in-One Project Management with Powerful Views, Templates, and Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon T. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The flexibility is what stands out most. I can manage tasks, recurring workflows, client projects, notes, deadlines, and SOPs all in one place, while still customizing each workspace to match how the business actually operates. The different views, templates, automations, and assignment options are especially helpful for keeping multi-step projects organized and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest drawback is that ClickUp can feel overwhelming at first, simply because it offers so many features, views, and customization options. Setting up a workspace in a way that feels truly intuitive can take time, especially for new users or clients who aren’t comfortable with project-management software. Notifications can also get noisy unless they’re carefully tuned, and at times it takes more clicks than expected to track down a specific setting or a particular task detail.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me solve the problem of having tasks, deadlines, notes, SOPs, and client requests scattered across emails and different systems. I use it to centralize ongoing projects, recurring responsibilities, follow-ups, and multi-step workflows, so I can quickly see what’s due, what’s waiting on someone else, and what needs my attention next. As a result, I miss fewer details, prioritizing is easier, and I have a clearer way to track progress across multiple clients and projects.

 ### 32. Intuitive, Fast, and Keeps All My Tasks and Team Communication in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yair P. | Gerente general de operaciones, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has made my day much more productive. It’s the best way to keep all my tasks in one place and stay in communication with my teammates. It’s also very intuitive, and the visual design makes everything easy to follow and manage.

I can link other profiles and apps to keep everything in one place and for me it's very useful the google apps integration because I use them everyday.

I love that I can have everything synced between all my devices through te iOS app and the desktop app. Both are fast and very responsive.

At the beginning, I learned the first steps trough the videos and tutorials available which are very concise and easy to understand from then everything was intuitive, and with the use of its internal AI I can found answers to some specific doubts that I have had.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The pricing because it is difficult to acquire for all my team. I would like to have other options that are not by user, maybe depending on business size.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication between team members, updating tasks, planning of events. We've noticed to have more achieved goals by using status and task tracking in ClickUp. The team loves to use it so that's makes them to learn to use it faster.

It helped to create a culture and routine to make things done.

 ### 33. Very complete and customizable platform, with excellent AI and native integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josep Maria M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The great adaptability and customization capacity of the platform, along with the number of features it has, as well as the features/price ratio. I believe it is currently one of the most complete options available within the category of task and project managers. The evolution of its artificial intelligence is also spectacular. I can confirm that I use it daily for multiple purposes, from meetings to reports, automations, queries, content, etc.

It also has a multitude of native integrations with third-party platforms like Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, Teams, among others.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the performance is affected, but it is true that the team has been working for years to improve the performance, especially of the list view, which has improved a lot. In general, it performs well, but occasionally complex lists with many fields may be impacted.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is my Work & Life OS, I manage absolutely everything with ClickUp, both my personal and professional life. Everything. CRM, projects, recurring expenses, social media content management, control of the economic information of my business, etc.

Integrated artificial intelligence and the best part is that since all my information is in ClickUp, ClickUp Brain has context of absolutely everything and I don't have to be constantly sharing context about my life or business.

 ### 34. Highly Customizable and Optimizes Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laís C. | Líder de Simulações Empresariais, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is the high possibility of customization. I can manage completely different projects very effectively because practically everything can be built the way I want and how it works best for me. Customization is very useful in all contexts, such as in the different types of views (list/board/gantt/etc), available filters, automations, field types, etc. Furthermore, ClickUp centralizes all tasks in one place, allowing the entire team to be monitored, which improves deadline and task management. Another positive point is the optimization of productivity through automations.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I believe a major area for improvement is the dashboard visualization, as I feel the possibilities are very limited. I can't vary the type of chart much, like creating a radar or waterfall chart. Another point that would be very useful is the creation of conditional automations. In the context of my company, there is a board where, depending on the custom field X, several people can be assigned to incoming tasks; it would be great to be able to set up an automation like: if field X = Y, assign to person 1, if field X = Z, assign to person 2, and so on.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes all the necessary information for projects, improves deadline and performance management, and optimizes management with custom fields and automations. Its customization facilitates the management of varied projects.

 ### 35. Complete organization of my agency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna G. | Web Designer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I usually use ClickUp to manage my projects, tasks, and track the progress of my agency's demands. Since I do website development and creation, each client ends up having a tab within ClickUp, and within this tab, there is a division by stages, such as briefing, layout, development, review, and delivery. What I like most about the tool is the ease of organizing and tracking the progress of these projects. I can create custom statuses, assign responsibilities for each stage, set deadlines, and track everything in one place. There have been many times when I forgot details to be done on the site, and with the tool, I always keep everything noted and review it more easily. Besides all this, I like the interface; even with several website creation projects, I can organize each one in a way and find the information more quickly and easily. For my agency, this has greatly improved the organization of our work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I like least about ClickUp is that, precisely because it has many features, it can end up being a bit confusing at first. When we started using it at the agency, it took some time to understand the best way to organize projects and set everything up in a way that worked for our website creation workflow. Once we got the hang of it, it became much easier, but the learning curve is a bit steeper than I expected. I think it would help a lot if the platform had a more practical onboarding, with a step-by-step guide for different types of businesses. For example, a model aimed at agencies with some ready-made steps would make a big difference for those just starting out. Another detail is that sometimes, when a project has many tasks and attachments, I feel that the platform becomes a bit slower to load. It's not something that prevents me from using it, but it's an improvement that would make the experience even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, I organized practically everything in notebooks, an agenda, and some scattered notes. At first, it worked, but as the number of website creation projects increased, it became much more difficult to keep track of everything. Sometimes I needed to look for information in various places or ended up forgetting some detail of a delivery. Today I manage all this through ClickUp. Each client has their own project, divided into the stages of briefing, layout, development, review, and delivery. This way, I can know exactly what stage each site is in, who is responsible for each task, and what the next deadlines are. The biggest benefit for me was organization. I am much more confident that I won't forget any important tasks and can keep track of several projects at the same time without having to search for information in different places. In the end, this saves time and makes the agency's work much more organized.

 ### 36. Feature-Packed and Detailed—ClickUp Makes Workflow Tracking Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaz H. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The one thing I like best about ClickUp is that, it is feature-packed despite being under a free-plan (though I'm hoping I could get the paid version through a sponsor, since my workplace doesn't uses this, but I use this personally for my workflows). Additionally, it's easy to track, very very detailed, and I really love the Kanban board view (it offers a lot of different views).

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's strength is being feature-packed, but sometimes, it gets overwhelming that you can do a lot of stuff inside, which is super helpful for users who really like customization and detail-orientated. But sometimes, it takes some time to get familiar in tweaking the settings due to a lot of information and configurations.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving me the way how I manage my projects, which is into folders, checklists, adding descriptions, viewing in Kanban board, getting a bird's eye view dashboard, etc.

 ### 37. A Powerful Workspace That Simplifies Project Management and QA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaspinder S. | Project Coordinator Cum QA Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it keeps our entire project workflow in one place. As a QA, I use it daily to manage tasks, track bugs, collaborate with developers, and monitor project progress. ClickUp Brain has become especially valuable because it helps me generate QA tasks from requirement documents, summarize ongoing work, and create management-ready dashboards from reports. Instead of spending hours on repetitive documentation, I can focus more on testing and improving quality. The flexibility to customize workflows and bring project management, collaboration, and AI together has made a noticeable difference in my daily work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One area that could still improve is the consistency of some AI features, as longer responses or complex generations can occasionally require another attempt. Because ClickUp evolves quickly, some new features also take a little time to become fully polished. Overall, these are minor issues compared to the value the platform provides in my daily workflow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped solve the challenge of managing projects, QA activities, and team collaboration from multiple places. Earlier, creating QA tasks, tracking progress, preparing reports, and coordinating with developers required a lot of manual effort. With ClickUp and ClickUp Brain, I can generate QA tasks from requirement documents, summarize ongoing work, create structured management dashboards, and keep everyone aligned in one workspace. This has saved time, improved visibility, reduced repetitive work, and made project updates much easier to share with both developers and management.

 ### 38. All-in-One, Highly Flexible Platform That Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny Rose V. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings everything together in one place. Task management, project tracking, documentation, communication, and reporting can all be managed within a single platform, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools.

The most helpful aspect of ClickUp is its flexibility. It can be customized to fit different workflows, teams, and projects through custom fields, statuses, automations, dashboards, and multiple task views such as List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt. This makes it easy to organize work, track progress, and stay on top of deadlines.

Some of the biggest advantages of using ClickUp include improved team collaboration, better visibility into project status, time-saving automation features, detailed reporting, and the ability to centralize information. It helps increase productivity by keeping tasks, priorities, and project updates organized and accessible in one location.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside of ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first due to the large number of features, settings, and customization options available. New users may experience a learning curve before they become comfortable navigating the platform and setting up workflows effectively.

Another challenge is that the interface can occasionally feel cluttered, especially when managing large projects with multiple tasks, views, and automations. Some users may also notice slower performance or loading times when working with very large workspaces.

While ClickUp offers extensive flexibility, setting up and maintaining custom workflows can require additional time and effort. Certain advanced features may also take time to learn in order to fully utilize the platform's capabilities.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the challenge of managing multiple tasks, projects, and workflows across different tools. By centralizing task management, project tracking, documentation, communication, and reporting in one platform, it reduces the need to switch between multiple applications and keeps all project-related information organized.

For me, the biggest benefit is improved visibility and organization. I can easily track deadlines, monitor project progress, assign responsibilities, and prioritize tasks in one place. This helps reduce missed deadlines, improves team collaboration, and increases overall productivity. The automation features also save time by reducing repetitive manual work, allowing me to focus on higher-value tasks and project goals.

 ### 39. Great assistant for Non profits projects management & donor trust attainment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sseremba m. | Public Health Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I and my company have been able to construct more engangeful project proposals for funding with use clickup docs, the performance of use of the multi products of ghantt charts and trello board for project timelines eassied our construction of organisation operation schedules. The cost is meaningful, the incompration of AI easied the flow in construction of great project proposals.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

This is funny but the issue is that click up notifies nearly about everything by default(comments, status changes, custom field changes...)you nearly get 55 messages a day

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As one that works for a nonprofit organisation, we usually use google docs for the grants, events like fundraising on excel and most tasks just on watsappbut when we begun learning how to use clickup from an expert from German through SES,we were able to put programs, grants, fundraising and communications all in 1 workspace. Also the great other issue we had was with grant reporting&donor requirements especially with showing impact and money accountability, the dashboards are able to show the percentage of activities completed, budget spent and communities reached, the docs stored the proposals,M&E frameworks with photos of the field attached and also time tracking for staff hours made easier

 ### 40. All-in-One Project Hub That Keeps Our Team Organized and Aligned

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishanth K. | Assistant Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it keeps everything in one place. My team uses it to manage design requests, track progress, set priorities, and collaborate without relying on long email threads. The interface is clean, and once you get used to it, it's easy to navigate between spaces, folders, lists, and tasks.

Features like custom statuses, task comments, attachments, and due dates make it much easier to stay organized. I also like that it integrates well with other tools we use, so I don't have to switch between multiple applications throughout the day.

From a performance standpoint, it's been reliable for our day-to-day work, and the mobile app is useful for checking updates when I'm away from my desk. We also started using some of the AI features for drafting task descriptions and summaries, which helps save a bit of time on repetitive work.

Overall, ClickUp has made our project tracking more transparent and improved communication across the team. It offers a lot of value for the price, especially if you're managing multiple projects and collaborating with different stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I don't like is that ClickUp has so many features that it can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. It takes some time to understand how everything is organized and to customize the workspace in a way that fits your team's workflow.

I've also noticed that some pages or dashboards can be a little slow to load when there are a lot of tasks or complex views. The AI features are useful, but they're still evolving and don't always provide the exact output I need, so I often make edits afterward.

While the platform is highly customizable, that flexibility can sometimes make it more complicated than necessary for simple projects. Once everything is set up, it works well, but the initial learning curve is definitely something to keep in mind.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped us centralize project management and improve visibility across the team. Before using it, it was easy for tasks to get lost in emails or chat messages, and tracking project status required constant follow-ups. Now, everything is organized in one place with clear ownership, priorities, deadlines, and progress updates.

For our creative projects, it makes it much easier to manage multiple design requests at the same time. We can attach files, leave feedback directly on tasks, and track revisions without losing context. This has reduced unnecessary back-and-forth communication and helped us deliver projects more efficiently.

Overall, it's improved collaboration, made workload planning easier, and given the team a clear view of what's in progress, what's pending, and what's completed. That has saved time and made our workflow much more organized.

 ### 41. Empowers Our Team with AI Superagents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lindokuhle n. | Junior Social Media Community Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for tasks between our digital and creative teams in the Marketing department. I really appreciate ClickUp AI for writing social copy, reports, posts, and proofreading my work as a community manager. It also helps me take notes in meetings and task cards. The AI streamlines my work and helps ensure quality before I send or present it. I like how the workspace brings transparency to tasks and due dates, which helps my team and me stay organized. One standout feature is creating AI superagents for personal tasks, especially having a sociality drafter agent to help with social media replies. It's not perfect, but it makes work much easier as it provides suitable answers to comments. I also like that I don't need any other tool for chat, as ClickUp includes that feature too. Overall, I would recommend ClickUp highly, as it really helps.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have not come across anything I might say I do not like

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp AI to streamline tasks, check work quality, and ensure accuracy. It provides transparency on tasks and due dates. Creating AI superagents assists with personal tasks and social media replies, making work easy.

 ### 42. Timetable Feature That Keeps Student Deadlines on Track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia T. | Executive Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a student, it helped me avoid missing deadlines thanks to its timetable feature.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There’s a steep learning curve, and the setup can feel complex at first. With so many options, it’s easy to run into feature overload, and the interface can come across as cluttered rather than streamlined. I also find the notifications overwhelming, and the mobile app has limitations that make it harder to manage everything on the go.

Performance can be slow at times, and I’ve run into occasional bugs and glitches. Some of the more advanced features require paid plans, which can become expensive for larger teams. Because of that, it often requires user training to get everyone comfortable, and the workspace can become disorganized if it isn’t actively maintained.

Offline functionality is limited, and frequent updates sometimes change workflows, which can be disruptive. On top of that, the level of customization can be overwhelming, especially when you’re just trying to keep things simple and consistent.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive feature set with plenty of customization options. The collaboration tools are excellent, and the automation is robust. Reporting and dashboards are strong as well. Overall, it’s a good value, especially for growing teams.

 ### 43. Highly Customizable Project Management with Great Kanban Boards and a Strong Free Tier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreyansh D. | Chief Operating Officer, Mental Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The most helpful thing about ClickUp is the level of customization it offers for managing almost any kind of project. Personally, I’ve enjoyed using the Kanban boards the most because they give me a broader, clearer visualization of what’s happening, and they’re also visually appealing. Having that overall view of everything going on across different departments really helps me keep track of tasks and prioritize my workflow more effectively.

Another aspect that really made it the best choice for our company was that it is really functional even while being on a free tier, which gave us a good opportunity to try out our first project management software without worrying about getting paid trials with limited time periods. To add, it's really accessible even for newbies such as interns because of the in built AI called Brain (love the name).

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The one thing that irks me most about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first because of the very extensively divided hierarchy of workspace, spaces, folders, lists, tasks, subtasks etc.. Over time, the app also starts getting sluggish, perhaps because the amount of data grows as you add more work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using ClickUp, we faced a prominent issue that is critical to any organization's operations, that is the problem of not having a singular workspace/platform to integrate the workflow of our various teams.

After onboarding with ClickUp, the first project we jumped onto with our whole team was the creation of our official website. With ClickUp, we no longer had to chase updates for each task and team over WhatsApp riddled with links to Google Sheets, Docs, Drive folders with scattered references for the important data.

It helped us collaborate with the web development team having direct access to our teams and projects while simultaneously collaborating and communicating effectively thanks to ClickUp's ecosystem over phones, website and its windows app as well along with email updates.

So, bottom line, ClickUp saved us a lot of time, steps and reduced the need for delegation of each task 1 on 1.

 ### 44. All-in-One Tool that Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrián V. | Jefe de equipo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is the large number of useful tools it includes. It is a very powerful task manager and, in my experience, it has practically everything necessary to organize work. I love the integration with documents because it is very practical for creating knowledge bases for each project and keeping information organized.

I also highly value the whiteboards: they are fantastic for developing creative ideas, brainstorming, and building visual maps of ideas or tasks. Additionally, the screen clips have made it easier for me to explain complex topics and have avoided many virtual meetings, which has improved teleworking and work-life balance, as well as the team's flexible hours.

In my role as a team leader, I especially enjoy being able to explain things through clips and send them to the team so they can watch them when they are available, without depending on them being connected or available at that moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The time tracking of the tool is too rigid. For those of us using ClickUp in service agencies, we need to separate the time tracking analysis by folders or spaces and also input time not linked to specific tasks, such as meetings or calls. We would like to be able to set hour budgets per project and easily see the time spent. Currently, we have to use a different tool for time tracking, which goes against ClickUp's philosophy of being an all-in-one tool.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage marketing projects, keeping order in complex tasks and simplifying communication. It increases productivity by avoiding forgotten tasks and evaluating blockages for efficient solutions.

 ### 45. Transformative When It Works, But Risky AI Billing Guidance and No Support Follow-Up

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett S. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It replaces 3-4 tools and an assistant I can't yet afford. When it works (and it usually does), it's genuinely transformative for a solo practitioner trying to grow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The AI confidently told me I could bill CHAMPVA (a federal veterans' dependent program) for chiropractic services. This is explicitly excluded under 38 CFR 17.272. If I had submitted those claims without independently verifying, I would have committed federal insurance fraud. That's not a bug. That's a career-ending, license-revoking, potentially criminal outcome from trusting your product.

I get it. AI isn't perfect. I don't expect perfection. What I do expect is that when a paying customer reports "your AI nearly caused me to commit a federal crime," the human response is something other than what I got, which was essentially nothing. No escalation. No follow-up. No "we're flagging this internally." No acknowledgment that the severity here is different from a task getting sorted wrong. Just... silence.

I'm a solo practitioner. I don't have a compliance department. I don't have a legal team. I AM the business. If the AI is going to give medical billing and regulatory guidance with full confidence, and the company's position when it's wrong is "not our problem," then customers need to know that going in. You are on your own when it matters most.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is my entire operations layer. Brain (the AI) plus the agent system lets me do the work of a small team

 ### 46. My Brain in Digital Form: Why I Love ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oluwafunto T. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the dashboard feature because it lets me see how my week went, what’s still pending, and even use AI to generate an image of my week.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don’t like that I can’t include a document in my knowledge base space as a view. It would be much more efficient to have the same document available as a view in the related workspace as well as in the space, and to be able to show it on the document card in the space dashboard. I also don’t like the white interface when you share a document as a website, because I don’t want to create a duplicated doc just to get the look I want.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create structure and keep my tasks organised. I can clearly see what’s pending, what’s at risk, and what’s been completed. It also helps me stay more organised when setting goals, and understand how many tasks I still need to complete to reach my target.

 ### 47. ClickUp’s Custom Fields & Dashboards Make a Powerful Single Source of Truth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas B. | Marketing Operations Manager, owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a Marketing Operations Manager, my biggest win with ClickUp is the flexibility of Custom Fields and Dashboards. I can build out granular tracking for creative assets, input live campaign parameters, and set up formula fields directly within our workspace. Instead of jumping between spreadsheet trackers and a project management tool, ClickUp serves as a single source of truth where data architecture and actual execution live side-by-side. The native Looker Studio integration is also a massive plus for blending project velocity data with external ad performance metrics.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The platform performance can feel sluggish, especially when dealing with massive workspaces that contain thousands of active tasks, custom fields, and automated workflows. When jumping between custom filtered views or loading heavy dashboards, I frequently experience page lag and rendering delays. In a fast-paced marketing environment where data architecture needs to update in real time, these minor speed bottlenecks can add up and create daily operational friction for the team

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before bringing ClickUp into our workflow, our marketing data and campaign tracking were fractured across multiple spreadsheets, chat apps, and disparate project boards. This fragmentation created massive visibility issues, manual tracking errors, and operational drag when handing off tasks between our creative teams, paid media strategists, and web developers.
ClickUp solves this by serving as a single source of truth for our entire operation. It allows us to centralize our campaign roadmaps, integrate our reporting tools, and use robust automations to handle task transitions automatically. The primary benefit has been a drastic reduction in human error and administrative overhead—giving us the clear structural visibility we need to launch and scale large-budget, multi-channel campaigns efficiently

 ### 48. Real-Time Project Visibility and Industry-Specific Answers with Brain2 + Chat GPT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shirley S. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

My teammates can check on a project from wherever they are, whenever they want. They no longer have to contact me for a real-time update. With Brain2 and Chat GPT built in, I can get specific answers that apply not only to my industry, but also to my business.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It does take some time to enter projects and tasks at first, but the time savings show up quickly. Having one place for the whole team to collaborate means we’re no longer constantly switching between apps. Just jump in and start using it! ClickUp University allowed each person to learn at their own pace before having a training session with ClickUp support staff.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve gained work hours back and can actually move projects forward now that I’m no longer creating update reports that are already outdated by the time we meet to review them. The dashboards and reports are customizable, so the CEO can see what he wants to see, and each Director can stay focused on what they’re managing without having to scroll through all the spaces.

 ### 49. ClickUp centralizes everything and makes team organization easier.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinicius A. | Software Enginner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I liked most about ClickUp was that it brings several things together in one place. Before, I used several different apps and ended up getting lost. Now I can organize tasks, track projects, and share with the team in a much easier way. At first, it takes a little time to get used to so many options, but once you get the hang of it, it really helps in day-to-day life and saves time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I liked least was that at first I found the interface a bit confusing, there are many options and it takes a while to understand where everything is. Sometimes I also felt that some pages take a while to load, especially when the project has many tasks. I think if it were simpler to navigate it would be much better, but overall it doesn't get in the way too much.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, I used to miss deadlines and some tasks were scattered in various places. With ClickUp, it became much easier to track what each person is doing and organize everything in one place. This helped the team communicate better and avoided rework. There are still some things that could be simpler, but overall it greatly improved our routine.

 ### 50. Custom Views and Board/List Switching Keep QA on Track Across Client Accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michaela S. | QA Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The custom views are what I rely on most. I set up filtered views per client account so I can see exactly which QA tasks are in progress, which are waiting on a developer, and which are ready to re-check without scrolling through every project. Switching between a board view for triage and a list view for detailed QA passes saves me from losing track of bugs across multiple accounts. For everything it does, it's worth the price. It's not just task management—they've added Brain (the AI), note-taking, and meeting recording with transcripts, which are genuinely useful, plus timesheets for tracking where my hours go. Instead of paying for three or four separate tools, it's all in one place, so the cost is easy to justify.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My main frustration is the mobile app. When I'm away from my desk and just want to quickly check a QA task or update a status, the app feels slower and more cramped than the web version, the custom views I rely on don't translate as cleanly to a small screen, so I usually end up waiting until I'm back at my computer.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working QA across several client accounts, my biggest risk is a task slipping through the cracks. ClickUp closes that gap, I can pull up any task instantly, trace its full status history, and read every comment on it, so I'm never guessing where something stands. The integrations do a lot of the heavy lifting: it pulls status straight from GitHub, so I can see whether a dev fix has actually landed without leaving the task or chasing anyone for an update
