What do you like best about ClickUp?

I like that it has all types of project management tools to be able to work with the different ways people approach things. I liked that there was an inbox feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I felt it was a bit overwhelming and had a steep learning curve. I also wish that I could add more than one person to each area for free. I run a small business and want my clients to see only their projects with my team members without having to create a new space entirely.

I found it tedious to have to tag myself in everything if I wanted it to show up in my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:

This product is like many out there except they're all in one. If you have time to learn it I'm sure it's a great program but for now, it's a little too robust for myself and my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was able to organize and sort my big brain dumps, but after that it was difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

Personally, I really like ClickUp's board view and its "Me Mode," as it helps me stay aware of all my tasks at all times. I can also easily customize the columns to display only the ones I want, which is something I really love.

I also appreciate its automation feature (ClickUpBot). For example, if I forget some tasks from a previous sprint, it automatically adds them to my current sprint. It also helps automate task status updates.

Additionally, ClickUp provides excellent support. A couple of days ago, I got stuck on some issues, but I was able to find solutions easily through its forum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp can feel congested at times because, personally, I think there are too many things in one place. It can be hard to figure out exactly what I need. They should provide some basic training or resources to help new users understand the platform more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is our organization’s central project management tool, where we manage everything from small bug tickets to large feature developments. It covers a wide range of use cases and brings everything under one roof. ClickUp centralizes all tasks and communications within a single platform, making it easy to track progress on each task or ticket. Instead of juggling multiple tools for communication and project management, we can handle everything in ClickUp. This integration of all aspects into one platform is something I personally love, as it simplifies workflows and enhances team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

Clickup has been the most straightforward and easy to setup project management tool for us. Task tracking is super easy with lots of granular details. Sharing with teams and inviting new members to collaborate to the board and task is super easy. Integration with 3rd party tools is also possible with many apps available. Datadog and Clickup integrations helps alot in creating incident tasks in Clickup for the events that needs to be address and team can then start working on the incidents. Customer support is very helpful. Its been the mostly used tool through out our project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

So far we have no complaints. Few integrations were a but difficult to get around but we are satisfied most part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to have an easy task assignment and tracking tool for our project. Clickup with its integration for many top 3rd party tools is great. Calendar integration smoothly integrates Clickup and our Google Workspace for Google Calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

It works. I like the design in general—crisp, and minimalistic enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The way some features work is very unclear. For example, the notorious "me mode" and filters in general. It took me several days and conversations with three support members to figure out how to see only tasks and subtasks assigned to me.

Another thing is that the synchronization works in a very weird way. I thought that a collaboration tool should update everything on everyone's screen immediately, but this is not the case. I have to refresh my screen manually many times per day to be sure I have an updated version of the dashboard.

The abundance of customisation in general drives me nuts. Today I spent quite some time trying to find a way to customize the task properties on the task screen and... I gave up. There is so many customisable things that when I really need to customize something I find myself lost. I checked space settings, list settings, and task layout settings. Nothing. Have I tried to check the Help Center? Oh yes, but it didn't provide any clues on this mysterious question.

Bottom line: I feel insecure when I use ClickUp. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I fear losing tasks just because after a couple of weeks of using ClickUp on an everyday basis I still feel that I don't have control over it. And as a product manager control it's what I really need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Clickup helps me run the backlog, split it into tasks, do project management and bug tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

This is our all in one resource for project information, collaboration, and team member management. It allows us tio keep everything in one place including prooject specific communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Clickup has been very glitchy lately requiring us to quit and restart several times a day. It would also be create if the forms you can create had more features similar to an excel document fo rnow they are somewhat limited. Lastly, we would like to integrate a virtual meeting audio recroding / transscript tool so we could eliminate our other subscriotion service Krisp and keep this all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping all project related content in one place helping us to organize and breakdown projects by tasks. Also allows us to manage the full project journey from sales to deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

As all features are built-in, customers were flooded with features that affected the ease of use for customers and needed enough time to start using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currenlty we are using the different products for Product Develoment and planning, kanban board, Team Collaboration, Task Management. Where now click up brought all the features built in one place where all these things sync together and help the user to have better experience. What do you like best about ClickUp?

Features would actually be good if the would work, it is very flexible, we use clickup daily, automation and integration with third party tools would be easy with make (but be aware of bugs!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Too many bugs, even on enterprise plan you interact with many different people from customer support, support doesn't really care, many bugs will be confirmed as unattended behaviour but it will take weeks and months until they solve even critical bugs. also, the fact that it is pushing to a one in all solution means, that everything is there, but nothing is really "industry leading" itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

it would help us to not use 5 different apps, but during that "no focus" of clickup we noticed, that dedicated tools are more beneficiary for us, also you tend to loose the overview in clickup if you try do solve different use cases in it, as we did in the past Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love the ease of keeping everything in one place! Group projects organized by tasks, forums with results, and my favorite part, documents! This has made life so much easier when creating how-to guides for our users but allowing for leadership to give their feedback in the form of comments before launch, ensuring accurate and clear information is released. The way they format their documents also makes for an awesome enviroment friendly to make updates and changes to documents without disrupting URL addresses. As a trainer, this is all I could ever ask for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Unfortunately if it seems too good to be true, its cause it is. This is an amazing platform destined for greatness. But regretably I say, there always seems to be a major bug that gets in the way of fully falling head over heels. The customer service is awesome but the resolution time could be better. I imagine it could be due to having so many issues arise that they are backed up in application support - but it seems alot of technical strength is applied more for the next big updates they implement instead of ensureing already established features run smoothly.

Because of this unfortunately the company I work for is pressing we redirect services to a more reliable source so we too can be reliable to our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently Click Up is solving bugs to features that are not new. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp offers a vast array of features, which can be overwhelming at times. It doesn't lean towards a minimalist approach, and at the start, we invested a significant amount of effort into customizing it to fit our team's needs and ensuring internal alignment. While the extensive features are powerful, the initial setup can be time-consuming and require a lot of adjustments to fully integrate into existing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

It literally has ALL the features in a single app.

Record clips, track time, tracks service projects, or product development. I found it by chance, and I'm so glad that I did ... and I've used trello, monday.com, bitrix and everything other app for this purpose on the planet across 10 different organizations.

NOTHING comes close to this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

This is a very tough question, honestly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted a software tool that had everything in a single place, so I or my employees did not have to "go out of it" for different things.

ClickUp does that perfectly, has almost ALL the features one could think of in-built, and has very powerful integrations and out-of-the-box integrations that you can just plug and play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

Fast-growing features and consolidation in one window. Mac OS app. Good for operational tasks and customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

It is not fully prepared for software development processes. Everything Is based on lists; if you need a separate entity or any other attribution, it should be covered via lists.

The DOC section is another problem. The whole page stacks when using tables in the document (the tables are currently the worst thing in the document). It's a headache. It is impossible to use documents regularly. The toolbar for the rich text editor should always be attached in the same place, but each time I enter the page, it is not pinned, and I should Highlight the text to see that toolset, which makes the work slower.

Autmations are not flexible.

Also, Mobile applications are useless. I think the whole issue is the mess in the flexibility they did. I think they need to block some features for some cases to avoid overlapping.

The interface is another issue. It is nice, but many buttons overlap, and there are many things to tackle in the same area, which is a mess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am trying to get the most out of it, but I can say there are a lot of things that need to be covered for every aspect of my use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
