I find ClickTime easy to use for managing time sheets for all employees. It efficiently handles approvals of PTO and manages employee hire dates and termination dates. I also appreciate the feature that allows me to break down hours by task, which is incredibly helpful for us as a nonprofit needing to show grant funders an employee time matrix. I don't like that ClickTime requires prior approval of PTO before it will allow you to submit a timesheet. We would like to better integrate it with our payroll through QuickBooks but we have not been able to easily figure out how to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ClickTime makes tracking hours simple with the different features it has to put a "Task" and a "Client". The fact that it has a comment section also makes it easy to track what the task is or to help make a mental note of the work that was completed. Some of the best features of click time that I enjoy are that I can be specific on what tasks I used my time and productivity, and I can also leave notes next to the times if I need to leave further details to my manager. It was easy to learn and adjust to my needs and preferences. It also integrated well with our HR program, and it helps me keep track of my PTO usage and company traveling time. I really appreciate ClickTime because it's fast and the UI is nice and clean, making it easy and quick to fill timesheets. The self-explanatory interface saves me time and effort. I also like the option to unsubmit, which adds flexibility that I value. Compared to Dayforce, ClickTime's design, UI, and functionality are better. The fast setup with the SSO feature is another aspect I find quick and easy. Features like automatically populating previous tasks add convenience to my workflow. I like the fact that I can access ClickTime from anywhere. It updates automatically for me, which is pretty cool, and they recently fixed an issue where accidentally clicking in the notes saved them, so I appreciate that change. The initial setup was pretty easy for me since it's a SaaS application. I use ClickTime for tracking my work hours based on different clients and tasks. It allows me to identify how much time I'm allocating to certain clients and tasks. The dashboard is very user-friendly, and I'm able to quickly input all tasks without much hassle. ClickTime has a mobile and desktop app that make it easy to track time live, creating a more accurate time-keeping. We use ClickTime to track all of our time allocations to programs and grants, and as a nonprofit this is extremely beneficial. ClickTime did not have an option of tracking time by client AND program in the order we needed for grant reporting, so we had to design our set-up differently than traditional set up. I use ClickTime to track my work hours, vacation time, and business-related expenses. I appreciate the ability to complete multiple services in one system, which helps me avoid repeating my work in different systems and prevents me from answering the same question multiple times. I don't like that the expense system does not calculate mileage, which creates an extra step to complete the expense report. The dropdown menu cannot be reordered or contain a 'frequently used' feature, meaning I have to click through several never-used options with every expense notation for years.
