"Outstanding Help Documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

The most helpful thing about ClickHelp is the built-in HELP documentation. It's about the best I've seen, and it made learnng the tool much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

One or two of the basic features are challenging to learn from the documentation. I had a hard time with ANCHORS, for example, before it suddenly became clear to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Full featured and flexible documentation environment. Great Support."
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

The ClickHelp authoring environment is comfortable to work within, and offers a familiar set of word-processing tools and features. The single-sourcing options are excellent. The online documentation output is very professional looking. I commend the ClickHelp team for their personal and attentive support - my questions were handled professionally, courteously, and with a dedication to a helpful answer and resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

It would be great if there were some simpler methods for editing common text styles other than direct CSS configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful online documentation tool with excellent support"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

I love the variety of features that ClickHelp offers. When I was tasked with finding a new documentation tool, my employer gave me a list of requirements the tool had to meet. ClickHelp met them all, and then some. I love the intuitive interface. If you're familiar with topic-based online help tools, then you'll find that it's very easy to get up to speed and start creating your documentation right away, with very little learning curve. ClickHelp also provides very helpful video tutorials, and a very thorough FAQ and Help system themselves. As I was vetting the product, I asked Support several questions and they responded very quickly with accurate, helpful answers. All of these reasons combined made ClickHelp the most obvious choice for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I'm not crazy about having to use CSS to change design features, but the Support team has made it very easy for us. I don't anticipate this being an issue going forward, because once we decide on a design, we'll most likely keep it that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, very quick startup, love it!"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

We wanted to get on-line, quick. We looked at much larger products, but decided that ClickHelp was the fastest, simplest way. Haven't looked back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I don't know HTML. If I had spent a few days learning that first, it would be better. I miss word's "Track Changes" option, though there is a way to see all changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive product for writing great documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

The great thing about this tool is single-sourcing, you can write one manual, tag elements that will not be published, and voila, you have two different manuals. So, you don’t need to copy and paste content again and delete information that shouldn’t be in another version of your manual.

Along with the Google Analytics integration, ClickHelp has its own reports, so, you can easily manage the writing process and analyze the reader stats. I am a big believer of statistics and analytics, so this became one of the key factors for my choice.

Another thing that I like is customer support, they went the extra mile every single time to help me learn the product and implement it faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

At first, it was tricky for me to work on branding for my portal because I don’t know CSS well. However, ClickHelp documentation clearly describes steps that you should follow and gives an example. Tech support provided the needed guidance too. Would still be good to have a visual branding setup in some form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything You Need "
5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

There are few things I like most about it. It's incredibly intuitive and takes hardly no time to learn. I also love that it's online, works across platforms, handles its own backups, and grades the readability of each page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

There's really nothing to dislike about it. The only downside might be it's dependence on you having internet, but that goes for anything businesses do these days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using ClickHelp Makes Sense for Digital Help Authoring"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickHelp?

Amount of functionality and customizability is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

There's a bit of a learning curve if you don't intend on using a template. However, you can purchase ClickHelp design services. I didn't do that (to try and save a few bucks and also because I understand a bit of css and html). Nothing's been too difficult, but at first the interface, as with any complex software, can be a bit overwhelming, especially because I like to start playing with new toys immediately rather than tinker to get the setup just right for the end-user experience. But all complex software takes some self-education. (Want to mention too that they will educate you on how to use clickhelp. There's free online tutorials but also an onboarding service.)
