We installed Clickcease to stop clear fraudulent activity on our ads campaigns. Unfortunately all we found being blocked was real customers and traffic with the majority of fraud still coming through. We had lots of fraud from VPN IP addresses which we selected to block in Clickcease but these were still accessing our ads many times per day and didn't seem to be picked up by the system as VPN activity. We tested with our own VPN subscription at a major VPN provider and Clickcease did not block that IP. It made us question how effective the system is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering ClickCease: Make sure you carefully check the traffic Clickcease reports as fraudulent against your actual traffic logs. It is likely you will find much of it is genuine or even converting traffic. Do not take the figures they are providing at face value. They will shock you that your fraud is so high but after reviewing your data you will see it is not accurate at all. We saw no improvement at all in our campaign performance yet saw a big increase in cost per sale almost immediately after installing Clickcease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Unfortunately that has been unsuccessful and our CPA increased dramatically as lots of genuine customers were being blocked. When we discovered we were being clicked to death by competitors, obviously raised red flags with us. It had been going on for some time but didn’t become obvious until we tripled in size needing more leads. Which then, my marketing guy, observed for a full day out google analytics to discover 10 evenly spaced per hour spikes of 100% bounce rate to which his suspicions were confirmed. Fortunately he found click crease. Easy to sign up. There are videos that explain what and how you’re being farmed for clicks so your purchase makes sense. Hey, for $50 a month, the moment we put this firewall up, the same day we were getting results. The best part, all the false clicks you receive and that click cease monitors and blocks? Review what they offer, we got the upper 2nd level service of 3 if I recall correctly for $50/month, and look over your seo marketing analytics to see if your being farmed for clicks. Chances are it’s happening, we didn’t really notice it until we grew in size so think how much money we spent on “ghost clicks” until then.
