We have been using Clerk for almost 3 years now and I have nothing but kind words. Such a shame 10 stars isn't an option here on Trustpilot. Because Clerk deserves that for the excellence they provide.

Clerk like any other software provider are not flawless technically. Like with most systems, bugs happen now and then, however you should not judge the bugs, but what comes after the bugs.

Clerk always go above and beyond to fix bugs and help out. Drawing from my past 15+ years of experience with software providers, they excell at support and customer service. I have never experienced anything like this before, it is such a pleasure to experience how every request is taken seriously and handled with a smile.

Obvious downsides is like all not-completely-custom services: there are some functionality contrains, that become apparent only when you actively need THAT specific function.

For example (regarding search) no additional banner when serarching specific strings, or the not complete usage of the liquid templating.

Great service, we spoke with multiple people. From sales to tech to billing everybody was super friendly and replied super fast. Seems like people legitamaly love their jobs over there and the emplyees actually care, like genually. We actually ended up not using the program after mistakes on our end, they used many ours setting it up, maybe even days.

We misunderstood the billing, read the contract wrong and they gave us a full refund of over 500EUR even though it was us who read the contract wrong and they did not have to give us back a penny.

We did not like the way the integration looked on our site, it could easily have been fixed, but we just didn't have the extra time to go through it with their team.
