We had to figure some things out by trial and error. Cleo has been great for real-time and scheduled reporting, application integrations, and managing big data and file transfers. It also helped us to exchange and validate documents among the users securely. We were also successful in avoiding data duplication issues in our organization through the AI system of Cleo. The encrypted file transfer using multiple protocols like A2S and HTTPS ensures extraordinary security for our organizational data. We often find that the SFTP inboxes that they set up for us take far longer than expected to complete, and when they are created they often do not work properly on the first or second attempt. This causes deployments to take weeks to complete, instead of days like they should. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** Double-check Cleo's work for mistakes before submitting it for customer/client approval. So far, we have not had any down issues related to the VL Trader product that we use. The support from Cleo is from trained technical persons in Rockford, IL (who speak English as their first language!!). I have been able to work with my multiple AS2 Business Partners in a fluent professional manner because of the stability of this product (Vl Trader). I highly recommend it to anyone. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** It might be wise if Cleo shields the most fluent technical persons from our questions that seem too simple to them. To me, they can sound condescending as they answer some of my simple questions. Perhaps, Cleo can gently point us to a 2-3 hour training series on the basics that we can watch on youtube. I suggest that Cleo train their people to realize that the people they help that are knowledge-challenged are still important. I felt like a few of the support persons went out-of-their way to point out the level of my ignorance. Now I see why so many companies ask for feedback after we get help from their support desk. Bad attitudes can wreck good companies. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Cleo VL Trader software in-house. Remove all the confusion and additional cost of 3rd party translation companies that take a week or more to get back to you and perform translation testing. We also had the Professional Services team included in our roll out. Sandy did an amazing job with Somveer and Evan to work with out team and get our project moving forward. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** We use their router tool in the On-Prem version heavily. In CIC there is no router tool, and it requires us to create multiple DataFlows. We have reached out and told their Dev team that it would be a significant improvement if added to their Cloud suite. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** If you are looking to have Managed File Transport set up in the cloud with 99% uptime, you cannot go wrong with this. All the additional features are great. You can connect to a local network share it with their CIC agent. So files can bt also saved locally. Cleos Professional services team is great. They are very strict and like to keep to best practices. We learned a lot from them as our current ERP system and EDI translation did not always follow industry standard. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are bringing EDI mapping/translation in-house. By bringing EDI mapping in-house, it will help to lower the costs of 3rd party translation companies we use currently. We have evaluated a large number of savings. The support behind the product is on point. Cleo support is proactive and willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of my business. Cleo CIC will be a practical long-term solution. While at this time, it is for our EDI data transfer. In the future, CIC may be helpful for integrations with our ERP and other in-house solutions. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** CIC has a slower integration setup time than expected. At the same time, this is not a problem with the performance of the product itself. It is, however, a pain in regards to time-sensitive projects that have been on hold. Your mileage may vary. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** This Platform works well in the EDI industry. Plan ahead for lead time in partner setups. Go to Cleo Connect if possible and get some breakout session time. Time in sessions will show what CIC can do. The guest speakers at Cleo Connect will vary in business models, and their stories will help you choose if Cleo is the solution for your business. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have fewer unexplained errors and more responsive support. Other systems we have used would leave us wondering what corrections are needed to solve issues. CIC support helps with guesswork. This alone puts them ahead of others. While again, we are new to the product. It seems that Cleo can take any possible ideas, and some that seem impossible and turn them into a reality. One other positive note for Cleo Integration Cloud is the UI itself. I can easily navigate and track down my needed data. If it's not already visible on my dashboard, I can easily edit windows to show graphical charts for data flow and performance. Other providers I've used dont give such details and make it very difficult to gather needed information at times. ### 12. It does exactly what it says it going to do and added with the VLTrader side of it it fully encrypts all data which adds a piece of mind to the solution. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** Some of the troubleshooting could have better interfaces to show how stuff works and it should be included with software. Configuration is something that will most likely need to be paid for as the complexity is there. This will require a professional to configure the system as per all of the requirements from the different vendor. The solution is pretty expensive but it just works after installation. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** Great software although i would recommend having a person dedicated to this software set it up ease of setup if ok with knowledge of the software. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving and EDI problem with direct billing to vendors for a trucking company. It allows for a direct connection for gathering of load information as well as the direct billing right to the individual vendors with a drop of a had. The alerting is nice as well. The software will cover all the different protocols and setups you will run into for the various client connection types. They also have built in templates that you can use for prebuilt connections. Most FTP users will rely heavily on the FTP logs and Cleo has a great log that is easy to read to help with any kind of troubleshooting of any issues or errors you will run into. Also support if very helpful encase you find something you do not understand, they are always happy to help/. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** Only thing I do not like is it does not have standard FTP error codes. Most of the errors that are returned are java errors so it make troubleshooting the error message a little hard at times. But, support is great so I do not worry if I can't figure it out. Support is great and very speedy with getting back to your if there is any problems. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** I would give it a shot and do a demo and see if it fits the needs your looking for. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Combining multiple pieces of FTP software into one location. Some features which are really worth giving a try is the easy integrability of this software with the rest of company's workspace or website. It doesn't require any change in the existing environment and works smoothly. It's really good for daily work, and processes our information quite fast. It is of great use when one wants both a cloud service from which their confidential data can not be leaked, and at the same time want to maximize the output of their system. With cleo integration service, I am quite relieved about the workflow, once I have gone through the flow of information of my own company. The documentation is really nice, and good for API integration. Great tool for expanding your company's sales, and produces mindblowing figures in terms of profit. I would suggest for the company to provide webinars for customers that allows them to get refreshers without having to get 1:1 training. User need some level of technical expertise that is not easy to find in many markets, we were able to find good resources that have been able to undertake the task but we required specialized training where we had a vendor come onsite for a week dedicated training. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** Always think on your needs and have them align with the product, the Cleo team has a lot of expertise of partners that will guide you on making sure you get to your goal with no problem. Cleo Clarify made me look like a genius and take processes that used to take us days to complete to just minutes. I was able to integrate external software with our ERP using JSON transformations with web service connectors. I liked that during data transformations you could query your database. Some data transformation tools you are just importing data in a spreadsheet directly into your internal tables. Cleo Clarify has the power to run stored procedures and sql statements while transforming data. I also liked how Cleo Clarify had an SVN repository to back up your projects that you could revert to if you had an issue. Also, it helped with support, if they wanted to test one of your projects out they had easy access to it. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** I didn't find one project that I needed to complete that I couldn't complete with Cleo Clarify. Sometimes the licensing would cause issues, though. Sometimes requesting and installing a temporary license was a pain. **Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:** I recommend taking the training when you purchase any products. I was able to take the training and it gave me great ideas on how I could use this product to help our company. Look into using Cleo Clarify as your EDI transformational tool. For example, updating pricing in our system was tedious. I was able to use Cleo Clarify to create a validated process that updated pricing with an excel spreadsheet. Multiple team members can work on same projects and use team synchronizer to stay up to date. Connecting to SVN repository from any machine is also an advantage for collaboration purposes. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** We once had and issue with the SVN repository. It was slow and our projects took time to sync. Our team members had difficulty collaborating on projects. We reached out to Cleo support and they informed us about the changes made to SVN repository files. Cleo support was extremely helpful and helped immediately to resolve our issues.
