The Cleo Integration Cloud is a versatile and powerful tool that helps businesses make sound decisions by facilitating the collection of service statistics. It also simplifies deployment and administration of cloud instances, making it an ideal choice for businesses looking to get the most out of their investment. The best feature of the Cleo Integration Cloud is its outstanding support staff, which responds quickly and resolves problems in a timely manner.


**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

Cleo Integration Cloud requires proper training before it can be used. However, the software is difficult to use for beginners, and we initially encountered issues with it. Fortunately, support resolved the issue swiftly and with minimal intervention from my end.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using Cleo Integration Cloud for a little over two years now. It helps us to scale our services according to user demand. We use the product to process and manipulate data before sending it off. We've found that the product provides services with minimal downtime, for the most part.

Cleo works fast in data extraction and helps our organization to improve compliance and risk management. Cleo helps our organization fulfill B2B goals and allows us to connect with other customers or clients. I had a great experience with the Cleo support team who is fully skilled in resolving issues quickly and updating me on new updates. It is a user-friendly cloud-based application that allows us to use it from any device.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

I haven't seen any features in Cleo that have to be disliked. It performs excellently and delivers the high productivity that our organization needs from a cloud integration application.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves our time and cost in A2A data management and monitoring. It performs better than other cloud integration tools in data extraction or fulfilling B2B goals. I personally liked the Cleo support team who is very responsive and skilled.

Our clients and partners greatly benefit from the fact that we can provide customizable monitors that offer complete visibility and transparency for all communications passing through the system. In particular, the capability to provide KPIs and analytics for these messages is an essential component of the system.

Since we first used it, it has stood out. I've been a customer for a few years, and it's never let me down. It's a great place to start.

Overall, Cleo helps streamline our process effectively and has visibility in all transactions.

Without a doubt, Cleo Integration Cloud is one of the best integration technology platforms available on the market today. This platform's most significant selling point is its cloud-based nature, which allows for rapid data flow between systems with very little middleware required. Additionally, the system's design is relatively simple, making it easy to synchronize all data in real-time and providing teams with unified views across all connected systems. Finally, reverse engineering processes are also quite simple, thanks to the intuitive interface offered by Cleo Integration Cloud.

Even if there is a great deal of documentation, it might be challenging to determine what a project requires.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

I've been impressed with Cleo Integration Cloud. It's enabled my company to streamline file transfer procedures. The cloud service eliminates the need for us to maintain or employ a local presence. Cleo has the necessary capabilities to manage and maintain the associated hardware and software. Our business-to-business team was missing a communications and networking specialist, but Cleo's cloud solution has enabled us to leverage their management and expertise while reallocating internal resources elsewhere.

Several software issues remain unresolved. Data processing may be possible with huge amounts of data, but when this is done quickly, problems can arise. Once these bugs are fixed, it will be phenomenal.

Our company saves money on software, servers, and service fees by decreasing the need for robust hardware and the programs that manage and configure it.

Quick to respond and very helpful. Even though I have no idea how to use EDI - they have spent the time to assist me with learning and taking care of anything I could not myself.

EDI in general has been very confusing and I am just not a fan of using it. I am a computer nerd and this is still difficult to understand but like anything - I will learn as time passes.

We wanted to set up some kind of way to be notified after certain documents come in or are sent and they are working on making this available for us to do on our own but they were able to take care of this on the back end.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

We are currently harnessing its use cases to evaluate the performance of our existing company apps and to track the performances of our riders and storeboys. It helps us give meaningful insights regarding both the cloud data to see the successful deliveries and on-time delivery ratios. The customer support is good. The User Interface is simple and attractive. In all, we get some good business insights using this.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

We are still figuring out the customization of automatic processes, which can help us build work reports without the use of an operator. The documentation seems easy for a few features and quite difficult for some others. Customer support, though helpful sometimes takes time to respond.

**Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:**

It is one of the cloud services which can be worth it if used properly. Our data is secure and it's a great help to the data analysis team.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The current use cases are tracking the performances of our deliveries, the number of back-end queries solved by our engineers, and our customer support team for the percentage of tickets closed with good feedback. However, we are planning to extend this to automatic report writing and customer satisfaction once we have the required skillset.

DataTrans is very engaged when we started initial contact. Our analyst is very supportive to launch the project, timely response, and proactive communication. The customer service team is also nice handling our requests on time. The system is easy to access and easy to handle. We are now planning to work with DataTrans on more of our customers' EDI solutions.

There are still improvement opportunities for transmission stability, especially for the peak time solution, but generally, everything is good.

Has excellent API and E-Commerce capabilities. Makes it very easy to integrate multiple applications using a single platform. Is flexible. It integrates well with other applications in our ecosystem, which makes it very flexible. CIC is the best platform that brings everything together and allows us to be more productive.

Specialized training is required to manage the service and use the product. However, if you get stuck, you can turn to the support team. They provide excellent services and resolve your queries quickly.

Cleo integration cloud allows us to effectively manage third-party API integrations and scale services to meet user demands. The product also allows us to process and manipulate data. It provides services almost all the time without any downtime.

Cleo Integration Cloud makes the processes easier for API integrations and EDI. It has been an easy set up for us to run our local data and integrate our workflows for better visibility across EDI and non-EDI transactions.

Search processes for noncompliance data sources are a little bit difficult and making the copies for nontransactional data was not as simple as it should have been.

We used Cleo Integration cloud for Integration brokerage and On-Premise data integration processes. It helped us to streamline our data processes and workflows and we were able to manage our EDI transactions in one cloud place.

What I like is the fact that it gives you all the tools necessary to accommodate to our customer's needs.

First and foremost, the biggest issue for us was full access and self-service, and with Cleo we can have all that.

Cleo has made processing EDI slightly easier.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

Confusing interface.  Cleo studio is hard to understand/use; I'm not sure who the target audience is.  If you're targetting developers an API would make more sense, but if you're targetting a general audience why isn't it all built as a web application?  SVN lock-in isn't great.  We use Cleo to post to an internal API, our API key is stored as plaintext in the SVN repository; this is a security risk.  Cleo isn't a 12-factor app that it could benefit from, namely around using environment variables for configuration.  Not being able to deploy the same code in staging and production makes working in Studio more tedious.  Cleo studio has been having issues processing our current workload and we're not even at full scale yet.  Why we have to give rough estimates of what we expect our EDI workload to be is worrisome; does Cloe not have any kind of APM on its tenants to see that our tenant is struggling?  Do tenants not have any kind of autoscaling set up to grow to workload size?

Transforming x12 to JSON for internal API consumption.  Cleo has made this transformation slightly better than the code we had written in-house previously.

Cleo has amazing customer support. EDI will always have issues but the support team working with us is above and beyond. The CIC platform is fast and responsive and is very helpful in tracking documents.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

There have been issues with the scalability of our work demands and the platform we are currently working with, but cleo has been very attentive to our needs and is quick to respond to our issues. While data outages are troubling they work to keep the system running.

**Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:**

Be aware of the volume of data you will need to be processing at peak times to properly plan the scope.

The number one problem the CIC platform has provided us is the bundling of our loads and associated documents together and the ability to look up documents in a timely manner.

If you are working with EDI companies that take their time responding or assisting with set up, Datatrans does not make you wait. They break everything down and get you ready to work quickly.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been working on workflow and making sure that acknowledgement are actually going through to avoid chargebacks. The reps involved are always quick to respond and resolve our issues in a very timely manner.  They have helped us set everything up so that all work flows much more smoothly and we are not spending long periods of time muddling through anything. The portal is very intuitive and requires very little "actual" training to use it effectively. If we reach out for anything, they find the right person to assist us with every need, even if it is simply a question to put our minds at ease.

The right speed and proper responsiveness to the data integration between multiple services are best.  
We have seen issues with our internal APIs or custom connectors with EDI services (between our ERP and vendors).  
But with Cleo, we were able to solve them, and processes are running much efficiently and less error-prone.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

The price is a bit steep for the service offered. But it is also the limited use we have for this (specifically with ERP integration). Thus it's not the best bang for the buck for us.
Though, the fewer issues and headaches with the day-to-day maintenance of EDI connectors - are well worth the price for us.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our EDI processes between ERP and vendor will always have one issue or other.  It failed a lot and many times we wouldn't be notified of the problems.  In some cases, we wouldn't understand the failure codes/reasons.
So it required a lot more time and resources to troubleshoot and fix.  

Cleomade it simple and more proactive for us to manage our data transfers between ERP and vendors. 

Cleo definitely helps us simplify and solidify our EDI transfers.  It helps improve our image and credibility with the vendors, which drives revenue growth for us.

The best part of Cleo software is the excellent customer support help desk.  Competing products require you to pay for support and then have the audacity to install pour quality technicians in the role.   Cleo has very good support staff and support is included in the support contract.  To top that off, Cleo support is willing to do a 3 way call including the other trading partner when problems arise and oftentimes my trading partner is using Cleo which makes it very easy for the tech to resolve.

The UI takes some time to learn, but once you do - it is very easy to add new trading partners and maintain certificates, etc..

Many of our EDI customers move to AS2 to improve security over FTP.  Our application servers do not support AS2 natively so I had to find software for that data exchange.

There is nothing to dislike about it. It's a very simple application that takes very little to get used to it. I have had no issues with something not working so far.

I feel that the on-premise install of VLTrader utilizes a lot of resources and that each java instance can use up all of the available resources on the server.  Once configured correctly, this issue can be mitigated to a degree.

Cleo has the best cloud integration solutions, and there are a lot of things I like in this tool. The features I like the most are in Cleo are its

We got to know the tool through a partner of ours, who was already using it for integration, workflow and use of work and documentation in the cloud, in addition to expanding and automating sales, with a fantastic EDI solution, just everything we needed for our work to be able to flow quickly, stably and effectively. For us it was a wonderful option because the work teams, for sales, workflow were divided and with other attributions which made it possible for us to have delays in the return of sales, the financial part and the completion of work. Now everything is done in an automated way, and the results are obtained instantly, giving us real and accurate information of everything we have been doing. In addition, the support was fundamental for the implementation of the tool for us, guiding us, clearing doubts and helping us to make the tool work in an easy and friendly way.

There is nothing to discredit its use. On the contrary, it's been a big help in our organization bringing workflow, sales, financial results that we couldn't get so easily and reliably. Cleo gives us full control of our EDI infrastructure. We have a dedicated team who make all necessary implementations as we grow our customer base, and they work seamlessly across multiple protocols.

The downside to this is that Cleo requires a subject matter expert to really handle system administration; it's not something that I can just try to figure out for myself, but compared to the savings we're getting from not going through a VAN, it's worth it.

Make sure that it makes sense for your organization to handle EDI transactions within your own environment, rather than a VAN like Kleinschmidt.

A year ago, I liked the concept of leveraging a third party for mapping and support. A year later, and I now see advantages to having this back in-house. Not having to manage the platform is probably the best thing at this point.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

The product is not as intuitive as it could be. The way objects are created and organized in the SVN repository does not lend itself to a new user easily figuring out how to build an end-to-end solution. 

Since learning how to troubleshoot errors in the Admin console, I typically research and resolve issues before the support team even acknowledges the error, which is disappointing when you're paying for support. While incremental improvement has been made concerning support, there's still much room for improvement.

Concerning Cleo University: I've taken DT103 and CE203. DT103 was fine as an introduction to concepts. CE203 has much room for improvement. The class is taught as more of a "Watch me and do what I do as I'm doing it" approach with not enough end-of-day exercises to work through on one's own. Since the tool is not as intuitive as other mappers I've used, I found it difficult to absorb and retain the concepts. The course also concentrates on X12 EDI and flat files with only a passing mention to XML and API calls. IMHO, the teaching methodology and course material need updating. I suggested to our PM that Cleo consider offering a course with a maximum of 5 seats where students could build an end-to-end solution for deployment in their production environments. I attended such a class many years ago with Sterling Commerce (after taking all the prereqs), and it was INVALUABLE for solidifying everything I had learned in class to that point.

1. Be prepared to prod the support team for a response.
2. If you plan to do any development yourself, be prepared for a steep learning curve in a non-intuitive environment.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

Cleo Integration Cloud has the best customer service team who are ready to talk to you and answer inquiries with technically valid responses in a considerable short time. The Solution itself is scalable and the team will do all the work for you such as integrations with out solutions.
The time it takes from the start of negotiation till the implementation is short as well.
The Solution once implemented and kicked off will give you full control on the data.
The training that is given to us wasnt time consuming and the ones who took the training were able to use the solution easily from the first time. 
In addition, the post sales team who gave us the training where so helpful and gave responses for each and every question we had.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

You need to take appropriate training to be able to use the solution and sometimes its hard to understand some errors without getting back to the support team but other than that Cleo is simply perfect.

Cleo Integration Cloud is a professional solution backed up by a professional team.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cleo Integration Cloud helps us manage our orders and helps delegate them to the appropriate vendor. 
It also integrates seamlessly with the ERP solution that we use internally.
In short it gives us control on our client/vendor data in the way we need.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

That is makes it much quickier and easier to update or change translation of custormer data to keep up with demands and new incoming customers. top notch software.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

The training they offer could come with some more indepth guides on how processes work. We had to figure some things out by trial and error. But it is still fantastic compared to having to hand-code everything.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are integrating new and changing existing customers over to cleo and it is allowing us to add much more functionality to our software. Saves times and energy.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

Cleo comes in various formats: SaaS, On-Prem, Mix?, and it can be used for EDI, (S)FTP, File transfers in and out, and is very easy for generalists to work with.  Their support model gets any issues resolved within a few hours typically.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

More exposure to future roadmaps and features would be valuable.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy integration with all of our customers and partners without too much back and forth about technical details: increased productivity, decreased maintenance on EDI solutions, and set it and forget mentality for Integration.

Company integrations are made easier in a centralized location. It's quicker and easier for our customers.

**What do you like best about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

Cleo Integration Cloud has a lot of unique functions, which makes it a more effective and efficient cloud integration tool. It also provides extra functionalities than the other similar tools out there in the market. The best thing I found in Cleo is it's scalable and provides accurate insights of integrated data with analytics, which helps in more effective and efficient business decisions. The automated workflows and data update system is also a significant part of the tool and save time for multiple organizational tasks. The support staff is also very helpful and provides out-of-the-way support whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?**

There have been some integration issues at the early stages, but we sorted out the issues with the help of Cleo support teams, and everything went perfectly well after that.

**Recommendations to others considering Cleo Integration Cloud:**

Cleo integration cloud performs much more than a typical cloud integration platform and can help to increase overall data security and organizational efficiency. Organizations with large data transactions and resources must use it.

**What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cleo Integration Cloud as EDI, IB, MFT, OPDI, FTP, and A2S solution in our organization. Cleo has been great for real-time and scheduled reporting,  application integrations, and managing big data and file transfers. It also helped us to exchange and validate documents among the users securely. We were also successful in avoiding data duplication issues in our organization through the AI system of Cleo. The encrypted file transfer using multiple protocols like A2S and HTTPS ensures extraordinary security for our organizational data. We also have integrated various applications and data resources with the Cleo integration cloud, and it solved the problem of finding and managing multiple data resources individually.
