Scheduled reports should also be improved; currently there isn’t a feature for ad hoc reporting. As an EDI/Integrations Dev at a larger 3PL, it’s important that we have the flexibility and capability to integrate with any platform our clients may bring forward. While the CLEO environment doesn’t necessarily hold your hand the way some other platforms do, its lower-level approach to development provides a lot of flexibility in how we build our solutions. I have full confidence that I could integrate CLEO with whatever a client presents, whether that’s a custom API or a spreadsheet from Quickbooks. The web UI/Cockpit is very intuitive, and it makes it easy to manage connections and review our data. Data transformation and connection communicated clearly, which saves time troubleshooting. Our CLEO environment includes a multithreaded task manager which allows us to allocate server resources for maximum efficiency. This use of concurrent processing has really helped the performance of our large volume integrations. We starting using CLEO via their Professional Services team, which greatly helped the onboarding process. Over time we got qualified in the Development tools and moved to a self service solution, which saved us money and allowed us to be more reactive. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** CIC does not hold your hand like some other cloud based solutions may. Its important to have a holistic understanding of the integrations structure before you start building, because CIC lacks a guided workflow for you to follow. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The wide variety of connection solutions CLEO is capable of has been a massive benefit to our company. Pretty much any Client request is feasible, no matter how outlandish. ### 4. CIC gives us the control to make minor corrections to our translation tables without having to wait for a vendor to complete. If the task is bigger than we have time for, support is ready to jump in and tackle it for us. What's nice is that EDI just runs. This frees up the IT team and other business teams for more complex problems and projects. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** Because CIC is cloud based, it can lag when switching from page to page. The translation tables have had some trouble loading. I don't like how you cannot export data from any page you are on, only certain ones. This would be helpful to have if you need to analyze your partners or jobs. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Here at Byrne, we run lean teams across the organization. We used to employ a whole team of order takers. Now, we haven't had to add head count due to all the orders that feed our ERP through CIC. We have less order entry mistakes and happier customers. Our office team can now focus on other areas. It benefits me because being in IT I was called upon often to fix systems issues in relation to our inbound and outbound documents. The implementation engineer Marianne Kania was personable, genuine and real I was honest that I had zero idea what I was doing, and they made the setup of a new Trading Partner a breeze. They even had direct contact with their counterpart at SPS Commerce, so they were able to trouble shoot immediately. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** The search function is the worst. It searches without wildcards, so a message reference number must be exact For example, searching the last four digits of a message does not return the results IF the message reference is 00123456, you must enter the "00" as well as the beginning, or it will not find the message Should be able to search "123456" and get the message **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Makes EDI easy ### 7. If a connection is scheduled on a 5-minute interval, you can see how quickly errors can accumulate, and having to mark each one individually becomes tedious. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** CIC is in the cloud, so we no longer have to worry about physical servers going down while hosting the Lexicom application. It also reduces the risk of losing orders due to AS2 or SFTP transmissions that don’t reach us—something that could happen without us having any way to know otherwise. ### 8. They also have a very responsive support and treat their customer very well. **What do you dislike about Cleo Integration Cloud?** I wish it had a 2nd factor authentication and password require updated features added to CIC. **What problems is Cleo Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** SSL certificate update.
