It's been super easy to get a full view of our software stack. It's easy to create virtual cards to pay for different software. although it's very easy to migrate accounts to using a new cledara card it can be a very time-consuming process to go into each user account and update the card details, not really a Cledara issue but something to bear in mind in the roll-out process, also capturing invoices from Gmail is sometimes a tricky process. Just by going through the process of signing up, plugging all your SaaS in and updating the card details, it forces you to review the ad hoc spend you've accrued over the lifetime of business growth. In the first 2 years, it turns out we'd scaled to 54 SaaS subscriptions, a number of which were doing the same thing, across different teams. We've now reduced this to 48, which is a win in itself and more than pays the £200 per month back.
