What do you dislike about Cledara? Not a massive fan of how the budget flexibilty works. Currently, if you enable budget flexibility, the first payment has to fail before it then allows it go through a second time, once the cloud service provide retries the payment. Not all cloud subscriptions retry automatically, quickly. It leads to 'missed' or 'failed' payment notifications and confusion. It would be great to see the budget flexibility be clever enough to take the extra balance from the overall pool of money available in the account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. As an administrator, to be able to easily integrate it into our supplier onboarding/offboarding process and to have a clear oversight of our spend is fantastic. Our accounts team appreciate that they can get the invoices from one place and they have the transparency over our spend that previously required digging into various statements or spreadsheets. Cledara’s dashboard is intuitive and allows for seamless tracking of all our SaaS purchases. I love how easy it is to monitor and control subscriptions from one place, with real-time updates on spend, renewals, and upcoming payments. The ability to automate workflows around approvals and create individual payment cards for each subscription adds a layer of security and oversight that has significantly reduced unnecessary spend. Lack of Visibility into SaaS Spend: Before Cledara, tracking our SaaS subscriptions and understanding the total spend was a manual and error-prone process. We had multiple spreadsheets and emails, leading to confusion and potential oversights. Inefficient Subscription Management: Managing renewals and approvals for various subscriptions was cumbersome. We faced issues with missed renewals, untracked usage, and overlapping subscriptions. Risk of Unauthorized Spend: With multiple team members using different tools, it was challenging to control and monitor unauthorized or unnecessary expenditures. It gives us a really clear picture of exactly what we're spending each month on software subscriptions. You still have to work to control it, but before it just felt like we were totally blind. What do you dislike about Cledara? The process to manage budgets and set up debit cards takes some getting used to. For a while we were getting a lot of failed payments because either the amount taken by the vendor varied from the budget or the timing of the payment was different from what was expected. I like that I can filter invoices nicely any way I like. I also love that I don't have to contact the users of these services we use in the companies; Cledara solves this. What problems is Cledara solving and how is that benefiting you? I like that using Cledara, we track user spending, so trailing subscriptions that somebody simply forgot about don't happen anymore. In addition, I can easily filter the invoices I need and let's say an invoice comes from OpenAI, I know who approved it and all the other details. That really benefits me in day to day operations. With a fast paced start-up, it is critical to keep control of your costs. Cledara gives you that control and avoids any nasty cost inflation surprises. The Support team were great in getting me set-up, a great run down of the features which are really intuitive but you don't want to get your costs wrong! It would have to be the lack of a USD account. I manage all of our Euro accounts through Cledara but not my USD suppliers.
