I have been using CC for a few years and so far my favorite thing has been the customer service and engineering team. My design firm cares a lot about efficiency and accuracy, and the CC team has been very responsive to our feedback and they have incorperated our suggestions into the software. I cant say that any other software I use has this level of communication and adaptabilty.

The wooden and steel beam calculators are delightful. I especially like selecting the wood species for my beam and clearcalcs automatically loading all of the relevant material properties so I dont need to look them up in the NDS. The steel beam calc, wind load and shear wall calcs and retaining wall calc are also amazing! All the calculators are much more user friendly than other programs/excel sheets I have used in the past. I love the load linking that allows the various calculations to update based on a change to any one of the other calculations. ClearCalcs puts highly powerful FE analysis for many residential and general strtuctural applications at my disposal without complicated tier-pricing models and difficult to install setup files. Coming from different softwares, ClearCalcs will take a bit of getting used to as its interface is not quite the same as other similar design softwares.
