CleanSlate is scheduling and invoicing software for short-term rental cleaners and housekeeping businesses. It connects to Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com calendars, turns every checkout into an invoice, and works for regular recurring house cleaning as well as vacation rental turnovers. Most independent cleaners still bill from memory. At the end of the month they scroll back through a calendar, try to reconstruct which days they worked, and retype it into a spreadsheet or a text message. Days get missed, extras get forgotten, and payments get chased. CleanSlate fixes the part after the cleaning is done. Connect a property's booking calendar once and the schedule keeps itself current. Every checkout becomes a line on an invoice with the right date and the right rate already attached. The cleaner reviews the month, adds any extras such as a deep clean, a late checkout, laundry, hot tub service or supplies, attaches a photo to anything that needs proof, and submits. The host or homeowner approves and records payment in the same place, so both sides end up holding the same dated record instead of two different versions of the same month. Pricing is the cleaner's own. A rate sheet holds her services and her prices, in her wording, and she adds or removes items as her business changes. Nothing is a fixed menu handed down by the software. Because most cleaning businesses run a mixed book, CleanSlate handles weekly, biweekly and monthly residential clients alongside short-term rental turnovers, each billing on its own cycle from one calendar. It also covers the rest of the job. Supplies and inventory are tracked per property, so running low on paper towels does not turn into a text thread. Key contacts such as the plumber, the electrician and the HVAC technician live with the homes they look after. One tap marks a property clean and everyone connected is told, and on a turnover the app watches the clock against the next guest's arrival. Crew members can be given their own access without seeing the whole business. Finished invoices export as PDFs, earnings reports summarize what was billed and paid over any period, and approved invoices sync one way into QuickBooks Online and Xero. CleanSlate runs on iPhone, Android and the web, in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Only the person who signs up pays. The host or homeowner on the other side of the invoice is invited in and never pays for a seat. Free for 75 days, no credit card required.
