## About Clarity
Clarity is the complete end-to-end NextGen Advisory system for accounting firms. Unlike financial reporting tools that only analyse data, Clarity provides the methodology, education, and technology for accountants to build an entire advisory practice and become the most valuable person in their clients’ business lives. Our CLEAR Advisory Map (Current, Leaderboard, Endgame, Actions, Review) makes advisory repeatable and deliverable by the entire team, not just partners. Combined with the 7 Key Numbers framework, 5 Levers of Success sensitivity analysis, and structured meeting systems, accountants move from number-crunchers to Numbers Mentors: professionals who diagnose before they prescribe and change what happens next for every client. The system includes two purpose-built AI tools. Numina is the accountant-facing AI advisory assistant that helps firm teams prepare for advisory conversations using Clarity’s proven methodology. Hartley (askhartley.ai) is the client-facing AI assistant that connects to clients’ real financial data (via Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage) and delivers answers grounded in their actual numbers, not generic guidance. Research from Stanford found that leading AI tools affirm users’ decisions 50% more than a human advisor would, even when those decisions are wrong. Hartley is built to challenge bad assumptions, not agree with them. Clarity integrates with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage. Members consistently achieve a 3x increase in firm profit compared to traditional advisory approaches. The system includes methodology, education programmes, implementation plans, and member success consulting. Founded by multi-award-winning Chartered Accountants Aynsley Damery and Steven Briginshaw, Clarity is used by progressive accounting firms in 17+ countries. Key Features to List • CLEAR Advisory Map – structured advisory delivery methodology • 7 Key Numbers framework – simplified financial storytelling for clients • 5 Levers of Success – sensitivity analysis showing profit and cash potential • Numina AI – accountant-facing AI advisory assistant (methodology-driven, not generic) • Hartley AI (askhartley.ai) – client-facing AI assistant connected to real financial data • Client benchmarking – by sector and location across the system • Portfolio view – monitor all clients, identify advisory-ready opportunities • Automated management reporting – generate reports at the click of a button • Meeting systems and agendas – structured client engagement process • Education programmes – soft and hard skills for the whole team • Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage integration

## Clarity Reviews
  ### 1. The framework we didn't know we were missing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** donald P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Clarity?**

We've been using Clarity HQ as the backbone of our advisory service offering and it's genuinely transformed how we work with clients. The structured approach to goal-setting and action planning gives every client meeting real purpose — conversations that used to drift now stay focused and produce clear next steps.

The platform is intuitive enough that clients engage with it between sessions, which is where the real value shows up. Instead of picking up cold at each meeting, we're reviewing progress against agreed targets and building genuine momentum.

For any accountancy firm looking to move beyond compliance into meaningful advisory work, Clarity HQ provides the framework and the tools to make that transition credible and scalable. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about Clarity?**

A few honest observations for anyone evaluating it:

The investment is meaningful and takes time to earn back. This isn't plug-and-play software — you need to commit to the methodology, train your team, and actually run the process with clients before you see a return. Firms that dip their toes in and don't fully embed it will likely be disappointed.

Not every client is the right fit for advisory conversations, and the platform works best when you're selective about where you deploy it initially. Early on, we tried to use it too broadly and diluted the impact.

The integration ecosystem is strong if you're Xero or QuickBooks-based. If you use other software in your stack, expect some manual data entry.

What problems is Clarity HQ solving and how is it benefiting you?

Moving from compliance-focused to advisory-led without having to reinvent a process from scratch. Clarity gives you the framework, the language, and the tools — you bring the client relationships and the technical knowledge. For firms serious about growing advisory revenue, it's the most structured way I've found to make that shift credibly and at scale.

**What problems is Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarity has genuinely changed how we run client meetings. The structured approach — 7 Key Numbers, 5 Levers, accountability framework — gives every conversation a purpose and a direction that's hard to replicate without it. What I didn't expect was how quickly junior team members picked it up. Advisory had always been partner-led in our firm; Clarity's process-driven approach means that's no longer a bottleneck.

The methodology is what sets it apart. It's not just a reporting tool — it's a repeatable system for having better conversations with clients about their business, not just their numbers.

  ### 2. Simple to Implement, Excellent Support, and AI That Brings Numbers to Life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graeme T. | Chief Impact Officer, Accountant, Public Speaker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Clarity?**

It is the simplicity of the software both in terms of implementation, integrations and application with clients. The support is excellent also with the AI features taking things to a whole new level. From a user experience perspective it also brings numbers to life in a way that any business owner can understand so that they can then go and take action and get a clear ROI for their investment in us.

**What do you dislike about Clarity?**

There is nothing I dislike about the software

**What problems is Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is allowing us to deliver advisory services and to scale this among the team

  ### 3. A Simple, Visual Way to Track the 7 Key Business Numbers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon B. | MD and Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Clarity?**

Very useful for showing the 7 key business numbers in a simple and very visual way. Our business owners love seeing their numbers this way, and this leads to more support for them, and more valuable work for us.

**What do you dislike about Clarity?**

I can't think of anything to add here. Its a great product

**What problems is Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cutting time on preparing for meetings. Using AI to analyse the numbers.
Having a clear structure to run advisory meetings. Helping clients free up their time and make more profits and cash.
