"Empowers Effective Communication with Video Context"
4/5
What do you like best about Claap?

I like that Claap respects attention, allowing me to communicate with context and nuance without forcing everyone into a meeting. It helps me explain things once properly, and people can engage when they're focused. I appreciate how Claap turns recorded quick videos into summaries, action items, and a shared record that can be revisited, especially for async work. Claap resolves the communication decay problem by providing a stable form for conversations: a video, a clear summary, and concrete action items, which reduces friction and rework. I enjoy using video as the foundation for sharing ideas, as it keeps the tone, emphasis, and reasoning intact, avoiding the flatness of text. Time-based commenting helps keep discussions grounded in the context of the original video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Claap gets the fundamentals right, but a few things could be better. The AI summaries are helpful, not flawless. In more complex or fast-paced conversations, some nuance still gets flattened, so I don’t treat them as truth — more like a strong first draft that occasionally needs a human pass. Navigation can also feel a bit heavy once you have a lot of videos. When a workspace grows, finding the right Claap quickly could be smoother, especially across older content. "Claap Makes Async Collaboration Faster and More Precise"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

Claap is a game changer for async communication, especially in product and cross-functional teams.

Being able to record quick walkthroughs, share feedback on designs or features, and avoid unnecessary meetings saves a huge amount of time.

The ability to comment directly on specific moments in a video makes collaboration much more precise and efficient than long email threads or Slack messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

The main downside is that adoption can be slow, not everyone on the team naturally switches to async video communication, so it requires a cultural shift.

The free plan has limitations on storage and the number of clips, and calendar integration which can feel restrictive for teams that use it heavily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Simple and Effective Tool for Async Team Communication"
4/5
What do you like best about Claap?

What I like most about Claap is how easy it makes sharing feedback and updates without scheduling yet another meeting. Recording short videos, commenting directly on specific moments, and sharing everything in one place saves a lot of back-and-forth. The interface is clean and intuitive, so onboarding team members is quick. It’s especially useful for async collaboration where clarity matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

While Claap works really well overall, there’s still room for improvement in advanced organization and search when the number of videos grows. Occasionally, processing or uploads can take a bit longer than expected. More customization options for notifications and integrations would also make the experience even better. "Effortless Video Communication for Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

I use Claap to make video communication easier and faster at work. It lets me record my screen, meetings, or quick video messages, then share them with my team or customers so I don’t have to schedule live calls all the time. I can explain things better with video than text alone. I like that I can point to specific parts of a video or add notes, which makes instructions clearer. When I can point to a specific timestamp, I don’t have to say something like 'somewhere in the middle of the video.' I can directly say, 'Check 2:35,' which saves time and avoids confusion. The initial setup of Claap was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

At first, learning where all the features are and how to record properly takes a little practice. Recording is easy, but things like organizing videos, setting permissions, using comments with timestamps, and managing workspaces were not immediately obvious. I had to explore a bit to feel fully comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Easy to use AI meeting notes with a simple dashboard""
4.5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

I love Clapp dashboard it is very simple and clean looks. I am new user but its only took two minutes to create account with my Gmail. Even on the free plan, I can see there are many options for recording meeting which is very helpful for my work later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

I had a hard time when i connecting my Google calendar because it kept asking me to upgrade to pro subscription. The Connect Calendar box also stayed on my screen even after i saved my settings. I wish that the free version made more clear that basic sync is actually working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful async meeting tool with accurate AI summaries and great collaboration features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

I’ve been using Claap for a few months now, mainly for meeting recordings, async walkthroughs, and AI-generated summaries. The thing I like most is how quickly it turns long meetings into clean, structured notes. The action items, key decisions, and highlights are almost always accurate, which saves my team a huge amount of time.

I also love how simple it is to share a Claap link with teammates they can jump to specific moments, leave comments directly on the timeline, and collaborate asynchronously without needing another meeting. It feels much faster and more lightweight than traditional meeting tools.

The screen and video capture feature is also extremely helpful for documenting processes or giving feedback without scheduling another call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

While Claap is excellent overall, there are a few things that could be better. The transcription quality drops whenever someone has an accent or when multiple people talk at the same time. Sometimes the AI summary misses nuanced discussion points or groups unrelated thoughts together.

The UI is clean, but a bit too minimal in some areas finding older recordings or navigating between workspaces sometimes takes extra clicks. I’ve also noticed that exporting summaries or notes isn’t as flexible as I’d like. A direct export to Notion or Google Docs would be great.

Finally, the mobile experience can improve. Playback and commenting feel slower on mobile compared to desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Relevant Insights, Integration with HubSpot"
5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

I love using Claap to record calls with prospects and clients. It helps me keep call notes, identify clients' pain points, and spot opportunities; Claap identifies them automatically, making it easy to review them. I appreciate having a clear to-do list at the end of each call. I connected Claap to HubSpot, which allows me to see the notes after each meeting and know what was said. The statistics on who spoke and for how long are interesting, especially for sales calls. Claap is very easy to use right from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

It's just that there are a lot of features and I haven't used everything yet. I should spend more time learning to use it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap making Async collaboration Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Claap?

It is how seamlessly it enables async communication without losing context. The ability to record quick video updates with screen sharing, voice, and annotations makes feedback much clearer compared to long emails or chats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

The few areas that could be improved. The search and organization of past recordings can sometimes feel limited, especially as the volume of videos grows making it harder to quickly find specific conversations or feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
