## About Claap
Claap records every sales conversation and automatically structures it into rich, labeled data - speakers, objections, pain points, next steps, and more. That structured context becomes the fuel for AI agents to take over the rest: updating your CRM, drafting follow-up emails and sales decks, surfacing coaching insights, and triggering workflows across your stack. Claap delivers agent-ready conversation intelligence: pre-labeled, structured for retrieval, and open to any AI agent via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Video calls, phone calls, all captured in one platform without bots or friction. On average, sales reps save 30 minutes after each meeting with workflow automations, and revenue leaders increase their win rate up to 30% with deal insights and AI-assisted coaching. Claap is part of the lemlist group, and trusted by 1,000+ companies including Revolut, Qonto, 360Learning, Figures, and OpenClassrooms.

## Claap Reviews
  ### 1. Great for sales teams and client calls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Ram P. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap records and transcribes meetings in different languages while letting me stay focused on the conversation. The meeting summaries feel personalized and save me from writing long notes. It also helps write follow up emails in my own voice and updates the CRM without extra effort which saves me time.

The deal score feature helps me plan next steps easily

Everything connects smoothly with the tools we already use like email Slack and CRM

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Learning curve is higher initially till you get a hang of things

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier I had to take notes during calls, write follow up emails, and update the CRM manually which took a lot of energy and usually half an hour or more after each meeting. Now Claap handles those parts for me so I can stay focused on the conversation.

  ### 2. Great for Meeting Notes and Smart Follow-Up Emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristan V. | cofounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I use it to take notes during meeting and it helps me a lot to make smart next step emails
I use the template "BANT" to help me with that

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Nothing so far honestly - I thought the dashboard was a bit complex but it has been simplified a lot

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time taking notes
Focusing on the conversation
Saving time sending the next step email
Improving the next step email

  ### 3. Meetings and Notes Organized In a Better Way

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

The best feature I liked about Claap is that it helps to automatically record and transcribe meetings in 99 languages. We only need to provide meeting link or connect our calendar. It has simplified the whole process by providing crisp and personalized notes, AI generated emails and CRM enrichment. It provides meetings summary and helps to frame follow up emails. It also has some other amazing features like screen recording, integrations, and sales coaching for better insights.

It's very easy to integrate and provide seamless implementation. If I am stuck at any point, Claap customer support team is available for help immediately.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

I disliked this part of transcribing meetings. I want to have crystal clear notes of what each person is saying but when there are multiple people in the meetings, and they try to speak at the same time then notes and not clear and they are fumbled. So, I am not able to get clear idea what each person has said, and words are mixed up in that case.

Also, I disliked the pricing for Pro and Business Plans they are on an expensive side. They provide less features with these plans.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap is solving a major problem of industry related to meetings, transcription, AI written notes and many others. It is helping sales team to close deals faster and improve their performance. It helps in CRM management and sales operations to generate more revenue.

Claap’s mission is customer success, satisfaction and retention. It gives AI driven insights, follow up emails, transcription which helps to reduce manual efforts and improve productivity. It is a best software for each industry which helps everyone in their day to day needs to provide exceptional results for everyone. I recommend everyone to try Claap at least once to know about it’s amazing tons of features which are provided in a bucket.

  ### 4. Massive time-saver for sales calls, Helps me focus on the conversation, not the note-taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

It's a huge relief not having to scribble notes during meetings. Claap records the call, pulls out the key points, next steps, and pushes them straight to our CRM. I just show up, run the meeting, and everything else happens in the background. The video library is also great for sharing calls with teammates who couldn't join.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

The summaries are solid for the main points but sometimes miss smaller details, especially when multiple people talk at once. I usually skim the transcript if it's a complex call. Also, the free plan’s limits on recording time and storage get tight pretty fast once you start relying on it every day.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Claap, a lot of time went into writing meeting notes, sending follow-up emails, and making sure the CRM was up to date. Now most of that happens automatically. It's cut down the admin work after every call, so I can focus on selling instead of typing. Having all the recordings and summaries in one place also makes it easier to review deals and coach newer reps without chasing down scattered notes.

  ### 5. Great tool for easy meeting management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shayne E. | Business Analyst and Operations Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I love the easy way you can organise your meetings into space not just ones automatically captured by the tool but also ones you upload. Most other tools have fixed organisation structures that aren't easy to customise.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

I've not yet found anything I dislike about the tool yet

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find it really hard to take comprehensive notes during a meeting and actually participating. Having Claap take detailed notes and have the recordings for backup is life saving but then also to be able to integrate that directly into our CRM is vital for knowledge sharing

  ### 6. Claap Makes Team Communication Effortless and Meetings Obsolete

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumit M. | Senior Solution Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap simplifies team communication with asynchronous video updates, precise timestamped comments, faster decisions, integrations, fewer meetings, and intuitive, user-friendly collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Everything about this product is excellent; however, the limited offline functionality is the only drawback.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap solves miscommunication and meeting overload by enabling asynchronous video updates, precise feedback, centralized discussions, faster decisions, and smoother team collaboration.

  ### 7. Great tool for async collaboration and video documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kushal S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap makes async collaboration really smooth. I love how easy it is to record quick video walkthroughs, share feedback with timestamped comments, and replace long meetings with short, structured recordings. The collaborative workspace also keeps everything organized, so my team can revisit discussions anytime without digging through chat threads.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

The mobile experience could be more optimized, especially for reviewing recordings on the go. Sometimes the processing time for longer videos takes a bit more than expected, but nothing major.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us cut down on repetitive meetings and speed up knowledge sharing. Instead of scheduling yet another sync, we record once, share, and let teammates respond asynchronously. This has made our workflows more efficient, reduced context switching, and improved clarity for onboarding and documentation.

  ### 8. Best Conversation Intelligence tool for Agile Sales teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gwenn C. | Head of Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Nice interface, easy to use!
Powerful insights to leverage for coaching topics, pipeline visibility: really a big fan of smart tables to analyze several calls at the same time and "Claap AI", my 2nd brain and assistant to ask anything about past conversations.
Promising features on AI sales agents and MCP so that our automations and use cases are even more deeper.
A must have for all ambitious sales teams

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Super reactive team when we ask for a new feature or for help. So nothing I dislike so far

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My pain points that Claap solved were:
Lack of visibility on my sales pipeline
Lack of time to review sales calls and coach them with relevant feedback
No internal knowledge of key points to sale better (what messages resonate more and give a better conversion rate)

  ### 9. Async video tool that actually cuts meeting overload

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piyush J. | Seniror software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap makes asynchronous communication refreshingly effective. Recording quick screen-and-voice updates, sharing them, and getting timestamped comments—all in one seamless experience—has largely replaced countless status meetings for us. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the integration with Slack, Notion, Google Drive, and Zoom means it slots right into our workflow. The AI-powered transcription and summaries are particularly strong, with speaker detection and clickable captions—making revisiting key points effortless

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

At times, uploads and rendering of longer recordings can slow down, and the AI transcription may stumble over technical jargon or heavy accents
. Also, the free tier limits to about 10 videos/month—enough to start but quickly outgrown

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap addresses “meeting fatigue” head-on. Teams can record updates and walkthroughs asynchronously, eliminating the need for synchronous stand-ups or routine check-ins. The ability to comment directly on the timeline ensures feedback is precise and contextual. For remote and hybrid teams, this has dramatically improved alignment, reduced interruptions, and boosted productivity

  ### 10. Perfect Tool for Meeting Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim S. | CRO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I like that Claap works 100% perfectly and I think it's far above all other reporting tools.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Everything is great.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claap for recording all my meetings, solving issues with meeting notes and coordinating with CRM.

  ### 11. Claap: The Ultimate Asynchronous Meeting Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh K. | Sap Materials Management Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

What I like best is how Claap saves us a lot of time. We don't have to schedule as many meetings. Instead, we just record a quick video to share ideas. The Al is amazing because it writes a summary and notes for us automatically. Plus, it's very easy to give feedback by leaving comments right on the video.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Sometimes it can feel a little slow or laggy, especially when you have long videos. The price can also be a bit high for smaller teams or individuals. Another issue is that you can get too many notifications, which feels overwhelming.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap solves the problem of having too many unnecessary meetings and long, confusing email chains. This benefits me by saving a huge amount of time every week.

  ### 12. Easy Screen Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap is very easy for recording screen and sharing quick notes with team.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Nothing as such, As I find it fulfilling the requirement of meeting note taker

It reduces extra meetings because we can just record and share info. Team understand tasks faster and we save time in communication.

  ### 13. A great tool for async collaboration and feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap makes it really easy to share video walkthroughs, record quick explanations, and get feedback from the team without needing long meetings. The interface is simple and intuitive, and the ability to comment directly on videos helps keep discussions clear and actionable. It saves a lot of time and helps keep everyone aligned across projects

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Sometimes the video rendering takes a bit longer than expected, and the mobile experience could be smoother. Also, integrations with some other tools we use are still limited, so I hope to see more options in the future.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap helps reduce the number of long and unproductive meetings by allowing us to record quick video updates, walkthroughs, and feedback sessions asynchronously. It makes collaboration faster, keeps discussions documented, and ensures everyone can catch up in their own time. This has improved team alignment, saved us hours each week, and made communication much more efficient across projects.

  ### 14. Great Searchable Recordings, but Privacy Consent Needed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moriessa J. | Customer Service Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I appreciate that training sessions can be recorded and that each session is searchable.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Since this device records both video and audio, it's essential to obtain consent from members before engaging with them to ensure compliance with privacy requirements.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool addresses the issue of poor meeting calls and inadequate note-taking. After discussions with the Operations team, I sometimes forget certain details, but this solution allows me to revisit and keep track of important points that might otherwise be missed.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I really like how easy Claap makes it to share quick video updates with my team. Instead of writing long messages or jumping on calls, I can just record my screen and explain things in a few minutes. It saves a lot of back-and-forth and helps everyone stay on the same page—even if we’re not online at the same time. The timestamp comments are super helpful too. We use claap everyday. The support team is very helpful and understanding. The implementation and intergration was very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Nothing. I really love using Claap. Its been very helpful.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap has really helped cut down on unnecessary meetings. Earlier, even small things needed a quick call or a long message thread. Now I just record a short video, explain what I need to, and my team can watch and respond whenever they have time. It’s saved a lot of time and made communication way less stressful—especially since we’re not always working at the same time.

Claap allows me to record and share video explanations efficiently, as the upload time for videos to the app is amazing, it hardly takes any time. It's great for reviewing recordings of my classes, as everything is in one place and I avoid overloading my laptop with material. That's why I use it whenever I have important meetings. Also, the app is very easy to integrate with other apps like Calendar. In fact, it helps me have Notion, Calendar, and other apps integrated, keeping me more organized.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

What I don't like about Claap is that some advanced features are limited to the premium version. For example, I can only upload videos up to a certain memory level and only a maximum of three videos.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a student, I can record my classes and place them on the platform, which makes it great.

It has the option to add comments and annotations directly in the recording making it easy to get the feedback also.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

One downside is the application is currently limited to only MAC users, which is a issue for few members who use Windows or any other Operating System and do not have access to MAC.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me and my team, Claap has helped saved a lot of time, since instead of scheduling meetings based on everyone's schedule, I can just record the screen, explain concepts and send it to the team and they can review it on their convenience. **Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

What I like best about Claap is its potential to make team communication more efficient, clear, and collaborative by leveraging the power of asynchronous video in a well-integrated platform. It addresses the challenges of remote work and distributed teams by offering a flexible and engaging way to connect and share information.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

The risk of overusing video for simple messages, a reliance on stable internet and potentially high bandwidth usage, a learning curve to optimize workflows effectively, the possibility of information overload if not managed well.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap helps shift the focus of meeting management from often inefficient live sessions to a more flexible, clear, and collaborative asynchronous approach, supplemented by more focused and productive live meetings when necessary. For individuals and teams, this translates to saved time, improved communication, and better overall productivity.

The one-click screen capture feature, complete with voiceovers and easy sharing, has transformed how I collaborate with my team and review my class recordings—all in one organized place.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

What stands out most is how frictionless it is to record product demos, customer calls, or internal updates—and then turn them into rich, commentable videos. The ability to leave timestamped feedback (like Google Docs for video) has drastically reduced the number of unnecessary meetings.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

The transcription feature is still a bit rough and lacks support for multiple languages or advanced editing. Sometimes the video rendering takes longer than expected, especially for longer recordings.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Claap to cut down on sync meetings, especially across distributed teams. It helps our product and customer success teams:

Share customer feedback and demo sessions more efficiently

Give contextual feedback on design/UI flows

Replace recurring status calls with async walkthroughs

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap makes it really easy to record short videos and explain things to my team. I can share my screen and talk through ideas without having to set up a long meeting. It saves a lot of time and helps everyone stay updated.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Since I’m new, it took me a little time to figure out all the features. Some parts of the interface could be more beginner-friendly. But once I got used to it, it became easier to use.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claap helps reduce the number of meetings by letting me record short videos to share updates, explain tasks, or give feedback. This saves time for everyone and makes communication clearer. It’s really useful when working with a remote team or when people are in different time zones.

**What do you like best about Claap?**

What I like best about Claap is how it simplifies asynchronous communication by combining short video recordings with clear context and feedback, reducing unnecessary meetings and improving team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Occasionally, video-based feedback can feel less efficient for rapid updates, and it may require more time than a short text message.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claap for asynchronous video communication, feedback sharing, and reducing unnecessary meetings.

  ### 31. The Async Meeting Tool We Didn’t Know We Needed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Claap?**

Claap shines as a modern asynchronous collaboration tool. I love how easy it is to record my screen and webcam, add chapter-wise structure, and let teammates leave timestamped comments. The AI-generated meeting summaries and automatic transcripts are spot-on and save a huge amount of time in post-meeting wrap-up work.

It also offers a clean, intuitive interface, and onboarding new users is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

There are a few areas that could be improved:

Video rendering can occasionally lag, especially for longer recordings.

The transcription engine struggles a bit with niche or technical jargon.

On the free plan, video length caps are limiting for longer walkthroughs.

Nothing’s a dealbreaker, but some polish would elevate the tool to another level.

**What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording product walkthroughs
Sharing async updates
Meeting summaries & follow-ups
Onboarding & training
Capturing feedback with timestamped comments
