I really like how Claap turns potentially messy vendor discussions into clear, actionable records without any extra effort on my part. The standout feature for me is the AI summary, which is surprisingly accurate for operations conversations. After a supplier call about delivery delays or rate changes, Claap automatically pulls out key commitments like new cutoff times, next-day shipping, pricing adjustments, deadlines, and responsibilities. It lists them in bullet form and includes timestamps, which allows me to forward the summary to the warehouse or finance team in under a minute. No more digging through scribbled notes or risking miscommunication that could lead to costly errors. I'm also a big fan of the sync screen recording feature for process updates, which is great for rolling out new workflows or updating SOPs. It lets me record my screen and share the link in our ops Slack channel so the team can watch it during their shift, try it themselves, and drop a timestamped comment if something's unclear. The recordings become permanent training materials for new hires. Finally, I appreciate that it's a Chrome extension, making it easy to use without the hassle of forgetting to hit record. The main frustration is the speaker identification on calls with multiple people, especially in meetings with three to four participants. Also, the search feature could be more powerful. When looking for information on peak sessions or specific dimensions across months of calls, the results aren't always complete. The mobile app is pretty limited too. While I can watch recordings and read transcripts on my phone, I can't easily add highlights, edit action items, or leave detailed comments. It would be nice to flag something quickly while I'm on the floor. None of these are major issues, just practical improvements that could make it feel even more tailored to operations workflows.

In user interviews where the customer brings a couple of colleagues, or in bigger internal sessions, the speaker attribution in the transcript can get jumbled. The AI usually gets the majority right, but when people interrupt or talk at the same time, it sometimes attributes the wrong speaker. I end up spending a few minutes fixing names before sharing the summary with the wider team, especially when the exact attribution matters for user posts. Another thing is the search. It's good for finding keywords in recent points, but when I want to search across dozens of interviews, like every time someone mentions onboarding or pricing, the results are not always comprehensive or ranked by relevance. I often have to open several recordings manually to find what I need, which slows down synthesis for road map and planning. The video editing tools are pretty basic too; if I want to clip just a two-minute segment from a longer interview to share with stakeholders, I can't just retrieve and export a short clip directly in Claap. I usually need to highlight a section and tell people to jump to specific timestamps. A proper clip and share feature would be nicer. Finally, the mobile experience could be better. I can watch recordings and read transcripts on my phone just fine, but if I want to add highlights, leave timestamp comments, or tweak a summary while I'm out of the office, the interface feels cramped and some actions just aren't available. These are honestly minor gripes. None of them stop me from using Claap constantly, but fixing them would make an already great tool feel even more polished for product work.

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I love using Claap mainly to record videos and have the AI help me gather all the information and data discussed during meetings. This saves me a lot of time since I don't have to manually note down all the information, and the AI does it much more efficiently. I like that, in addition to being able to record meetings and take notes of the spoken information, I can edit the videos, which is a very useful feature. I also value the advanced search function to find specific information in the videos, which allows my coworkers to view the material whenever and wherever they want. The initial setup of Claap was quite simple thanks to the 'guided tutorial' that makes it easy to use while I learn to configure it.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

I feel that the recording time could be improved since sometimes meetings last more than 15 minutes and it's not always possible to record all the content, which has to be done in parts, and that's somewhat annoying.

**What do you like best about Claap?**

I use Claap for project meetings and client calls as my daily driver because its very easy to use and integrate. It records everything, gives me a proper summary of the meeting, and highlights the key points with action items. If I forget something, I can just go back and search the recording. I don't have to take manual notes anymore. This is also very easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Claap?**

Sometimes it misses on the information, especially if the speaker is talking in the local language. It also fails to capture the emotion of the speaker and the tone in which they conveyed the message. You need to go through the meeting in that case for manual review. It would be great to see if they also provide more editing options.

We used Claap as it helped us reduce number of meetings we had to held and share async updates directly with the team. When there are long meetings, their AI powered summaries saves a lot time. The best part is definitely the note-taking feature, which is so seamless that I don't even have to train it. Claap effortlessly records all my sales calls, and the notes are really nicely taken. The initial setup was a breeze too; it was just a onetime job.

I will need to translate and do a lot of things at one place. At times, it misplaces a few words. It does not understand a few more languages. So maybe we could add language support for other languages as well.
