"Claap: A Time-Saving Collaboration Essential"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

I really like how quick and simple Claap is to use. I can start recording with just a few clicks without wasting time. I also appreciate being able to share a recording via a link instead of sending large video files, which is very convenient. The video quality is good, and the interface feels clean and easy to navigate, making it more effective for giving feedback and explaining ideas, especially when working with clients or teammates in different time zones. It's also great for reducing unnecessary meetings as it allows me to record my screen and explain things clearly. Plus, people can watch the recordings at their convenience, which helps avoid misunderstandings and makes collaboration much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

I haven't run into any major issues, but I think there's room for improvement. Sometimes I would like a few more customization options for recordings and sharing. It would also be nice if navigating and organizing all the recordings could become a bit easier as the library grows. These are mostly small quality of life improvements rather than major problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Claap to explain ideas and share updates without scheduling meetings. It reduces unnecessary meetings, makes feedback clearer, and saves time, allowing smoother collaboration without misunderstandings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Streamlines Asynchronous Collaboration Across Teams"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

The standout feature of Claap is how it makes communication and collaboration across teams more organized and effective. Being able to record and share client meetings, product demos, and internal discussions keeps critical information in one centralized place, which reduces the need to revisit the same topics over and over. I especially value its asynchronous collaboration model, because it has improved coordination between our sales, product, and customer success teams. The ability to share updates or feedback instantly has increased our responsiveness to customer needs and made it easier to stay consistent throughout the sales cycle. Overall, its user-friendly interface and streamlined workflows have become an integral part of our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Claap is a feature-rich platform, but some of its more advanced capabilities are reserved for higher-tier subscription plans. For startups and growing businesses with tighter budgets, rolling the tool out across multiple teams can quickly raise overall software costs. In addition, teams that are used to traditional, meeting-centric workflows may need some time to adjust to an asynchronous collaboration model. That said, the return on investment can still justify the expense when you factor in benefits such as improved productivity, less reliance on meetings, and faster information sharing. Once the workflow is in place, the long-term gains far outweigh the initial investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before adopting Claap, customer conversations, meeting notes, and information shared across departments were scattered across multiple platforms. Finding the right context was time-consuming and often caused delays in client communication. As a Sales Executive, this affected both the pace of the sales process and the overall customer experience.

Claap has addressed this by bringing key discussions, recorded meetings, and ongoing updates into one organized place. Its video recording, sharing, and commenting features have improved collaboration across sales, product, and support teams, making it easier to respond quickly to customer questions and complete necessary follow-ups. As a result, response times have improved, internal coordination is stronger, and we’re able to deliver a more consistent and professional experience for customers. "Simple, Effective Collaboration That Preserves Team Knowledge"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

Claap’s biggest strength is how simple and effective it makes collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams. It offers a centralized place where project updates, technical walkthroughs, discussions, and critical decisions can be recorded and stored in a streamlined way. As a result, we rely less on frequent meetings, and important references are easy for all stakeholders to find when they need them.

As a Software Engineer, I’ve found that Claap has significantly improved our onboarding process, project handoffs, and cross-functional collaboration. Being able to record information, share it, and revisit it later has helped create better alignment between engineering, product, and business teams. Its user-friendly interface, stable performance, and ability to preserve institutional knowledge have made it an important part of our day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

If there’s any room for improvement, it would be the pricing of the premium plans. For startups or small organizations with limited budgets, the cost of advanced features and large-scale usage can feel relatively high. As the team grows, the overall investment increases as well, which may require careful budget planning.

That said, it’s important to note that the platform’s benefits often justify the expense. Improved productivity, fewer communication barriers, faster knowledge transfer, and stronger team coordination can create meaningful business value over the long term. In that sense, it feels less like a deal-breaker and more like a budgeting consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap addresses one of our team’s key challenges: organizing important information and keeping communication effective without relying on excessive meetings. Previously, many important discussions were scattered across separate chats, emails, and personal conversations, which made it time-consuming to find the right context and move decisions forward.

Claap has improved transparency and accountability by bringing project discussions, recorded demos, technical explanations, and decision-making into one place. As a result, collaboration within our team has improved, onboarding new members is faster, and coordination between different departments is significantly smoother. Overall, Claap has helped our engineering teams work more efficiently, maintain stronger documentation, and scale more easily as the organization grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Makes Client Updates and Walkthroughs Clear and Professional"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a Client Relationship Manager, what I like most about Claap is how effectively it strengthens communication with clients while reducing the operational burden on account teams. Managing client expectations often involves regular updates, project reviews, feedback sessions, and progress discussions, and it can be difficult to coordinate all of that across different schedules and time zones. Claap offers a far more efficient way to share information by letting us record detailed walkthroughs, project demonstrations, and status updates that clients can watch whenever it’s convenient for them. This has improved transparency, sped up communication, and ensured that important details are shared consistently.

I also appreciate how easy it is to maintain a clear record of discussions and decisions. Rather than relying only on meeting notes or long email threads, both clients and internal teams can revisit recordings whenever they need clarification. As a result, we’ve reduced misunderstandings, improved accountability, and delivered a more professional client experience throughout the engagement lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

My experience with Claap has been overwhelmingly positive. If there’s one area that could be improved, it’s managing larger volumes of client-facing content. As organizations scale and juggle many accounts at once, it would be helpful to have more ways to organize recordings, categorize discussions, and maintain knowledge repositories. The current functionality supports day-to-day work well, but these additions could make long-term content management and accessibility even stronger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest challenges in client relationship management is maintaining consistent communication while also keeping clients informed and engaged. Before using Claap, our team relied heavily on recurring meetings, long email threads, and manual follow-ups to share updates and gather feedback. That approach often led to delays, scheduling conflicts, and moments where important context got lost between conversations.

Claap helped address these issues by giving us a more scalable, efficient way to communicate. Project updates, account reviews, onboarding sessions, product demonstrations, and client feedback discussions can all be shared through recorded content that stays accessible well beyond the initial conversation. This has significantly reduced the number of routine meetings we need, while improving the consistency and overall quality of communication. As a result, client response times have improved, stakeholder engagement has increased, and our team can manage a larger portfolio of client relationships without sacrificing service quality. Overall, the platform has played an important role in improving client satisfaction, strengthening collaboration, and supporting a more transparent and efficient client management process. "Claap Makes Asynchronous Knowledge Sharing Easy for Remote Engineering Teams"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

One of Claap’s biggest strengths is how well it supports knowledge sharing for remote teams. Instead of scheduling additional meetings to walk stakeholders through model changes, experiment results, or deployment tweaks, I can quickly record a walkthrough and share it. In engineering workflows—where people are often collaborating across time zones and juggling different priorities—this asynchronous approach fits naturally. I also appreciate the searchable video library, along with the AI-driven meeting insights and summaries. These features make it much easier to revisit important discussions without having to sit through entire recordings. By integrating smoothly into our documentation and collaboration workflows, Claap helps preserve technical context that often gets lost in chat threads or scattered notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Claap works well for sharing and recording information. However, people who produce a lot of technical content would benefit from more comprehensive editing features. Compared with specialised video-editing programs, making intricate changes to recordings can sometimes take extra effort. The overall experience would also be improved with more advanced editing and annotation tools.

Organising content for larger teams is another area that could be strengthened. As the recording library grows, managing and classifying technical knowledge across multiple projects may become difficult. Even though the search functionality is useful, long-term knowledge management for engineering organisations would be more effective with additional tools to organise content and maintain control at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap helps us build a reusable knowledge base that’s accessible at any time by making it easy to document explanations, demonstrations, and project updates. As a result, it’s become simpler to share technical insights across departments, reduce recurring meetings, and improve onboarding for new team members. Team members can review the material at their own pace, which strengthens understanding and cuts down on follow-up questions. Overall, our collaboration has improved, project communication feels more transparent, and engineers can spend more time developing instead of repeating the same ideas. Claap also addresses a common challenge in AI and machine learning environments: communicating complex technical details without creating unnecessary meeting overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Keeps Teams Aligned and Cuts Meeting Fatigue"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a Product Manager, one of the things I value most about Claap is how well it keeps teams aligned without relying on constant meetings. Product development usually means coordinating across designers, developers, QA engineers, stakeholders, and customers, and it can be difficult to communicate the right context clearly and consistently. With Claap, it’s simple to record product walkthroughs, explain requirements, share roadmap updates, and give feature feedback in a format that’s far more engaging than long documents or scattered chat messages. As a result, our team stays informed while experiencing less meeting fatigue.

I also like that discussions stay tied directly to what’s being reviewed. Whether we’re looking at a new feature prototype, user feedback, or a sprint review, comments and input are captured in context, which makes collaboration feel more structured and easier to track. Overall, this has improved decision-making and helped reduce misunderstandings throughout our product development cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

While Claap has significantly improved asynchronous collaboration, I’d love to see more advanced organization and content-discovery features to better support larger teams. As the library of recordings grows, it can take extra time and effort to track down specific discussions or revisit past decisions. Stronger categorization options, along with more powerful search and filtering, would make it much easier to manage and find knowledge over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing Claap, our product discussions were often scattered across meetings, chat conversations, documents, and email threads. As a result, important context could get lost, and team members who missed a meeting sometimes struggled to catch up on decisions. This created inefficiencies and, at times, led to misalignment between teams during feature development.

Claap helped address these challenges by providing a centralized, easy-to-access way to share product information. Product reviews, requirement explanations, stakeholder updates, and customer feedback could all be communicated through concise recordings that team members could watch on their own schedule. This reduced the need for repetitive meetings, improved transparency across teams, and made sure key product decisions were documented and simple to revisit. Overall, collaboration became more efficient, communication became clearer, and our product development process moved forward with stronger alignment and consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Meeting Documentation with Claap"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

I mainly use Claap to capture meeting discussions and avoid spending time taking notes during calls. I like how effortlessly it turns meetings into useful documentation. Instead of rewatching entire recordings or searching through notes, I can quickly review the summary, transcript, and action items. The searchability of past conversations is also valuable because it makes it easy to find specific discussions when needed. I find it helpful when coordinating with teammates across different schedules since recordings can be shared and reviewed later. Initial setup was straightforward and didn't require much effort. Connecting it to our meeting tools was quick and the team was able to start using it with minimal training. The ability to maintain a reliable record of discussions without adding extra admin work has been great. I also appreciate being able to capture key decisions, action items, and important context, which makes it easier to revisit past conversations, onboard team members to ongoing projects, and save time because information is already organized and accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

One area that could be improved is the accuracy of AI generated summaries in highly technical discussions. Most of the time the summaries are helpful, but occasionally some context or technical details need to be reviewed against the original conversations. I would also like to see more custom options for how summaries and action items are structured, since different teams have different documentation preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Claap to capture meeting discussions, reducing time spent on manual note-taking. It provides summaries and transcripts for easy review of important decisions, keeping everyone aligned. I appreciate how it turns meetings into documentation, organizing key takeaways for easy access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Makes Remote Collaboration Effortless with AI Summaries"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

Claap has significantly improved how our team communicates and collaborates, especially in remote and hybrid work settings. The platform makes it simple to record, share, and document important discussions without needing everyone to be in the same meeting at the same time. I particularly value the AI-powered summaries and action-item generation, which save time and help teammates quickly grasp the key takeaways. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to adopt, even for team members who aren’t especially technical. Overall, it has become a dependable tool for project updates, product demos, training sessions, and internal knowledge sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Although Claap provides a strong overall experience, there are still a few areas where it could improve. Its advanced video editing features feel somewhat limited compared with dedicated video editing platforms, which can be restrictive when you’re trying to create more polished presentations. Also, locating specific details within longer recordings can take extra effort, particularly when you’re managing a large library of content. More customization for organizing recordings, tagging content, and managing workspaces would make the product easier to use for growing teams and larger organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap addresses one of the biggest challenges in modern workplaces: keeping communication clear without flooding employees with meetings. "Effortlessly Captures and Shares Sales Conversations"

4/5

What do you like best about Claap?

I use Claap to record sales calls, keep track of customer discussions, and quickly review meeting notes, which helps me remember important client requirements and share key updates with the sales team without taking manual notes. Claap helps me avoid missing important details from customer calls and keeps my follow-ups more accurate and organized. I like the most about Claap is how it automatically captures important meeting details, saving me time on note-taking and making it easy to find specific information from customer conversations whenever I need it. I also like how easy it is to share recordings and updates with teammates, which helps communicate faster and stay aligned on customer conversations. Sharing recordings and updates saves a lot from back-and-forth communication, reduces misunderstandings, and makes handoffs between team members smoother. The initial setup was too easy and allowed me to connect it with our meeting tools quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

One thing that could be improved is the search and navigation experience when there are many recordings. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find older conversations. I would also like to see more customization options for organizing recordings and team workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
