"Claap Makes Async Video Collaboration Easy with Smart AI Summaries and Search"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

The aspect that I love most about Claap is how it makes asynchronous collaboration easy through sharing updates, walk-throughs, and feedback via video recordings rather than having meetings all the time. This helps to minimize unnecessary meetings while still maintaining effective and contextual communication.

Claap also has artificial intelligence summaries, transcripts, and video search capabilities, making it easier to skim through the discussion and highlight the important parts without having to watch the entire recording. This is helpful in high-speed settings where team members may have different schedules or locations.

All of these features help improve communication effectiveness, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

The first problem with Claap is that the app will become ineffective if the team uses it to conduct conversations asynchronously instead of conducting real-time conversations in order to resolve issues much quicker than using asynchronous ones.

Furthermore, one might think that video management needs to be done more accurately; thus, with an increasing number of videos being stored in the database of Claap, users may find difficulties while navigating through this content.

Finally, even though it is very convenient to read the AI-generated summary or transcript, they are often not fully correct and have to be verified manually by a user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

The tool Claap helps to overcome the challenges of excessive meetings and disjointed communication channels, particularly when working with distributed or rapidly evolving teams. Rather than continuously scheduling meetings for discussion or decision-making, the team can asynchronously communicate through video recordings regarding updates, product presentations, feedback sessions, or explanations.

We have gained from its implementation by optimizing our communication process and saving time on frequent meetings. Individuals have the opportunity to review relevant updates at their convenience, and the use of artificial intelligence-powered summaries and transcripts enables quick comprehension and analysis of the material. "Claap Keeps Product Decisions Organized and Makes Async Collaboration Effortless"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a Product Manager, Claap has become one of my most useful tools for keeping product discussions organized and making sure important decisions don’t get lost after meetings. Rather than relying on handwritten notes or long meeting recaps, each conversation is automatically captured with transcripts, summaries, and clear action items.

I especially appreciate how easy it is to share short video updates with engineering, design, and stakeholders, which has helped cut down on unnecessary meetings. The search functionality also makes it straightforward to revisit past discussions, product decisions, and customer feedback without wasting time scrolling through chat threads or digging through recordings. Overall, the platform fits naturally into our product workflow and has made asynchronous collaboration significantly more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, my experience has been very positive. One improvement I’d like to see is more flexibility when customizing AI generated meeting summaries for different audiences for example, leadership updates versus more technical discussions. The default summaries are already useful, but additional formatting and customization options would make them even more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Claap, our product decisions were often scattered across meeting notes, chat conversations, and email threads, which made it hard to keep the full context or revisit important discussions later. That fragmentation sometimes led to repeated conversations and occasional misunderstandings between teams. Claap addressed this by giving us a centralized knowledge base for meetings and product discussions, so every decision, action item, and recording is easy to find and reference when needed. As a result, communication between product, engineering, design, and QA has improved, we spend less time manually documenting meetings, and it’s easier for everyone to stay aligned throughout the product development lifecycle. "Effortless Async Screen Recordings for Clear Technical Knowledge Sharing"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a System Engineer, I often need to explain infrastructure changes, deployment procedures, server configurations, and troubleshooting steps to different teams. Claap has made this much more efficient because I can record my screen with clear voice explanations, rather than scheduling multiple meetings for the same topic. It’s especially helpful for documenting technical workflows, sharing system updates, and creating quick knowledge sharing videos that others can revisit. This asynchronous approach lets team members review the information whenever they’re available, which reduces interruptions while still keeping everyone aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, my experience has been very positive, but managing a large collection of recordings can become a bit challenging as projects grow. Improved folder organization, along with more advanced search and filtering options, would make it much easier to find older technical walkthroughs when I need them. Also, longer recordings sometimes take a little extra time to process, though it has never been a major issue for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap has significantly improved communication within our infrastructure and operations team. Rather than writing long documentation or repeating the same explanations across multiple calls, I can record a clear, detailed walkthrough that covers system configurations, deployment processes, incident analysis, and troubleshooting steps. This approach has helped reduce communication gaps, speed up onboarding for new team members, and strengthen collaboration between system engineers, developers, and support teams. Overall, it saves valuable time while ensuring technical knowledge is shared consistently and accurately across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Streamlines Async Product Communication and Feedback"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a strategic IT manager, I found Claap especially valuable for bridging the gap between strategy and execution. Communicating product requirements clearly across different teams can be challenging, since each stakeholder needs a different level of detail. With Claap, I was able to record feature overviews, explain business requirements, and walk through prototypes in a way that felt much more effective than relying on lengthy documents. Team members could watch the recordings when it suited them, which reduced delays and helped everyone stay aligned around the same objectives.

I also appreciated how much easier it made gathering and sharing feedback. During feature reviews and release planning, instead of organizing multiple meetings, I could share a recording and collect comments directly from stakeholders. This streamlined the review process and made discussions more productive, because everyone had the same context before weighing in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, my experience with Claap has been positive. If I had to point to one area that could be improved, it would be the way larger content libraries are managed. As recordings build up over time across multiple projects and teams, stronger organization tools and more robust filtering would make it easier to find specific discussions or decisions from past product cycles. The current search functionality is helpful, but adding a bit more structure would make long-term knowledge management even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

One challenge we consistently faced as a product team was making sure information was communicated accurately and consistently across departments. Important product decisions were often discussed in meetings, and key details could be missed by team members who weren’t able to attend. Written documentation helped, but it didn’t always capture the context behind decisions or provide enough clarity for complex features.

Claap helped address this by offering a more effective way to share product knowledge and communicate decisions. Feature requirements, roadmap updates, customer feedback summaries, and product demonstrations could be recorded once and then shared with everyone involved. This reduced our reliance on live meetings, improved transparency, and ensured teams could revisit important information whenever needed. As a result, alignment across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders improved significantly, helping us move projects forward more efficiently while maintaining a shared understanding of priorities and goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Streamlines Engineering Updates with Clear, Time-Saving Walkthroughs"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

Claap has helped our engineering team cut down on unnecessary meetings and communicate more clearly about technical work. Whether we’re demonstrating a bug, walking through a complex implementation, reviewing a new feature, or sharing deployment updates, recorded walkthroughs save time and reduce misunderstandings. Overall, it’s made asynchronous collaboration much smoother, so developers can stay focused on coding while still keeping everyone aligned on project progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, the experience has been smooth, but there are occasional moments when uploading longer recordings takes a bit more time than I expect. I also wish there were more advanced options for organizing recordings within larger engineering projects, especially when managing a lot of material at once. These are minor issues, though, and they haven’t significantly affected our day-to-day workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a software engineer, Claap has made collaboration on our team much more efficient. Rather than scheduling multiple meetings to walk through bugs, code changes, or feature updates, I can record a quick walkthrough with my screen and voice and share it right away. That lets teammates absorb the context at their own pace, which is especially helpful when we’re working across different time zones. I also appreciate that comments and discussions stay attached to the recording, so it’s easy to revisit decisions later without digging through long chat threads. "Streamlined Video Updates and Timestamped Feedback That Save Us Time"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a Marketing Manager, I really appreciate how Claap streamlines communication without depending on constant meetings. Our team uses it to share campaign updates, creative feedback, product launch plans, and content reviews through short video recordings. It’s simply easier to explain ideas visually than to rely on long email threads or back and forth chat messages. The timestamped comments are especially helpful because the feedback stays tied to the exact moment in the video, which keeps revisions clearer and much more organized. We also use Claap to onboard new team members and to document marketing processes, and that has helped us build a dependable knowledge base. Overall, it has strengthened collaboration across marketing, design, content, and product teams while saving valuable time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Claap has been easy for our team to adopt, but there are a few areas where it could be stronger. As our video library keeps growing, locating older recordings can sometimes take longer than I’d expect. More advanced search capabilities, along with folders and tagging, would make organizing and managing content much easier. I’d also like to see deeper integrations with marketing and project management platforms so we can streamline workflows even further. Overall, these feel like relatively minor enhancements, and they haven’t had a meaningful impact on our day to day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we started using Claap, our marketing discussions were scattered across meetings, emails, and messaging apps, which made it hard to keep everyone aligned on campaign updates and creative feedback. Key details were often repeated or lost in long threads, and that slowed down decision-making. Claap addressed this by giving us one central place to record updates, review creative assets, explain campaign strategies, and gather feedback asynchronously. Team members can watch the recordings whenever it suits them, which has been especially useful when coordinating across different schedules. As a result, we’ve cut down on unnecessary meetings, improved collaboration between teams, sped up approval cycles, and made onboarding new marketers much easier. Overall, Claap has helped our marketing team communicate more efficiently, keep projects moving forward, and maintain better visibility with fewer delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claap Makes Technical Updates and Code Reviews Effortless"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

As a software engineer, I find Claap to be a very useful tool for sharing technical updates and explaining complex topics without having to schedule multiple meetings. Rather than writing long messages or trying to walk through code changes over chat, I can record a quick walkthrough and share it with the team. The screen recording quality is excellent, and the timestamped comments make it easy for teammates to ask questions or give feedback on specific moments in the recording. We also use it for code reviews, feature demos, bug explanations, and onboarding new developers. Because everyone can watch the recordings when it works for them, communication has become much more flexible especially when collaborating with distributed teams across different time zones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, my experience has been positive, but I think Claap could do a better job organizing recorded content. As the library of videos grows, locating older recordings can sometimes take longer than I expect. More advanced search filters, better tagging options, and stronger folder management would make navigation much easier and more intuitive. I’d also like to see additional integrations with developer tools and project management platforms to support a more connected workflow. These feel like relatively small improvements and don’t impact the platform’s core functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Claap, our technical discussions often stretched into long chat threads or turned into repeated meetings. That made it hard to explain complex workflows clearly and keep everyone aligned. Important details were frequently buried in message conversations, and developers in different time zones sometimes had to wait for a meeting just to understand implementation specifics.

Claap addressed these challenges by letting us record detailed walkthroughs, architecture explanations, code demos, and feature updates that the team can watch anytime. Feedback is captured and organized directly on the video, so discussions are easier to follow and less likely to get lost. As a result, we’ve cut down on unnecessary meetings, improved knowledge sharing, sped up code review conversations, and helped our engineering team collaborate more efficiently while keeping better documentation of key technical decisions. "Seamless Async Collaboration That Boosts Team Productivity"

5/5

What do you like best about Claap?

What I appreciate most about Claap is its asynchronous collaboration capability, which has significantly improved the effectiveness of our technical discussions and model review processes. Sharing machine learning model results, data visualizations, notebook walkthroughs, and experimental findings through screen recordings is incredibly easy. It helps us communicate complex analyses clearly to the entire team without having to rely on live meetings every time.

The platform has also been consistently fast and stable. Recording and playback feel seamless, so our workflow stays uninterrupted. Onboarding is straightforward, and new team members can start using the platform effectively in a short amount of time. Support has been responsive and helpful as well. Overall, the ROI relative to pricing feels strong: meeting time has decreased, decision-making has sped up, and team productivity has improved noticeably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. If there’s any room for improvement, it would be in video library management and more advanced search tools for larger projects. As the number of recordings grows, having richer tagging, filtering, and organizational options would make it even easier to locate specific content quickly. That said, these are minor enhancements and they don’t detract from the platform’s core usefulness or reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap has solved our biggest challenge: sharing complex data science tasks and machine learning results in a way that’s easy for others to follow. As a Data Scientist, I can clearly walk through data pipelines, model performance, feature engineering, A/B testing outcomes, and dashboard analyses using screen recordings, video explanations, and context-based feedback. This makes the work much easier to understand for developers, product teams, and business stakeholders, and it speeds up our feedback loops.

As a result, knowledge sharing is now more structured, the quality of our technical discussions has improved, and project delivery has accelerated. Our team can make more effective decisions in less time, which has led to better collaboration, higher productivity, and improved ROI. Overall, Claap has made our data science workflow more transparent, organized, and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
