It gives helps us process payments without having to worry about the information being vulnerable. We have plenty of applications hosted on Citrix servers. Citrix secure workspace is pre- installed in our office laptops. It shows us exactly which server we are connected with. It helps the support team to determine the problematic server. Advanced preference has many options, like you can reset the workspace. You can also delete passwords. Keyword and language bar is a fantastic option available. **What do you dislike about Citrix Secure Private Access?** Few things are annoying sometimes, especially when you cannot connect the server, and it just doesn't tell you exact issues. Sometimes the reason can be your profile is locked with one server, and you cannot connect to new servers. If internet weeks, it starts breaking the connectivity, although it gets reconnected once the connection is restored. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Secure Private Access:** I dont have any other options for citrix connection, and it's a good and workable, secure workspace, so why not. **What problems is Citrix Secure Private Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using for some troubleshooting and connecting to the Citrix servers. If you find your games start to stutter after installing or upgrading Citrix check to see if it has installed it Citrix Display Adapter which disables your graphics card. Other services required to provide this level of privacy can be slow and unreliable, and Citrix generally isn't. I use it to provide remote patient care on my personal computer using the Epic electronic medical record. I also appreciate that it updates discretely in the background. **What do you dislike about Citrix Secure Private Access?** Occasionally, when starting, the workspace will time out before launching. This used to happen more frequently, but still happens time to time. There is no way to update manually that I know of. It is slightly slow to launch as well, but that's may be due to my organization's encryption requirements. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Secure Private Access:** Citrix is a great method of providing remote electronic medical record access during the age of telehealth. **What problems is Citrix Secure Private Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have always used Citrix Receiver to work on patient charts from home. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic began, I needed to conduct telehealth appointments from home. That was a true test of Citrix's 24/7 reliability to make sure no technical issue interfered with patient care, and it didn't let me down. ### 16. Even without a remote deployment tool such as SCCM, installation is quite simple. Having SCCM or similar just makes the deployment that much easier. I have also never run into any compatibility issues, even with older legacy applications. We have several legacy applications that fall under the traditional client-server model, but are required to run across our enterprise. While there are other options available, Citrix Workspace allows for most efficient delivery of these applications while ensuring that the apps are delivered securely. It is also very simple to administer, even for those who do not have prior experience with Citrix products as the interface is very straightforward and to the point. **What do you dislike about Citrix Secure Private Access?** Users who are used to the Citrix Receiver UI may need some retraining. Also, the user interface, while pretty straightforward to those with Citrix Receiver experience, is a bit clunky at times. I believe there are some optimizations that can be made in order to improve Citrix Workspace speed on machines that are not high on resources. I would also say that some of the authentication options could be laid out a little more clearly as some of the LDAP options are hard to follow at times. It seems like there is a bit of overlap between options. This would also apply to Citrix Policies as well. Also, regarding Citrix Policies, there are several policies that seem to overlap with Windows Group Policy, so it becomes difficult to choose the correct option/policy to set. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Secure Private Access:** Make sure to test whether your legacy applications are compatible with the current version of Citrix Workspace before deploying. While I have personally not experienced issues when upgrading to the latest version of Citrix Workspace, it is highly recommended to test thoroughly so as to avoid compatibility issues. It would also be very beneficial to view Citrix's various offerings before making a choice as they offer a full suite of products. Familiarize yourself with these products in order to make sure you choose the correct one for your use case. Feel free to test out other solutions as well and do your due diligence, but I am sure you will end up choosing Citrix/Workspace due to its feature set. Citrix has really done a great job over the years to simplify the application delivery process. While there are other products that provide a similar solution, Citrix is the only one that has pioneered the technology and made it truly seamless. **What problems is Citrix Secure Private Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** Delivering legacy applications to our end users in a quickly and efficiently. We have several legacy applications that fall under the traditional client-server model, but are required to run across our enterprise. While there are other options available, Citrix Workspace allows for most efficient delivery of these applications while ensuring that the apps are delivery securely. I have used other solutions that delivery applications in a similar manner, but none have been quite as good as Citrix, Citrix Workspace in particular. ### 17. You can also open lab orders right from the PAL, making it quick and efficient to print all of the requisitions (super useful when you have labs due on 10+ patients at one time). **What do you dislike about Citrix Secure Private Access?** The design looks very outdated. It is easy to use and efficient, but it could use an update to make it look more modern, like how Epic looks. The functionality is there, it just looks very old-school and outdated. Another issue is that it does not automatically refresh.
