It connects to the organization server well and keeps track of login time and data used. The connection process is quick, within 1-2 minutes. I am not pleased with the product overall but I don't have a say in the matter. It is a corporate level decision. So I guess, Its easy to update when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Citrix Gateway? Many days it just doesn't work. You have to uninstall and reinstall frequently. Also have to delete "cookies" often to keep it going. Citrix is a really helpful tool when we need to use other networks or application for a third party, we can access their servers without using much of our own Device's memory and work with the Virtual Desktops and tools from other teams. Sometimes if you open multiple Citrix sessions at the same time the application can get stuck and you will need to kill the process to reopen the VPN, but its not really much trouble if you only work with one environment at a time, which is normally how we work. Recommendations to others considering Citrix Gateway: Sometimes you will need to install an specific version of the Gateway depending on the necessities of the Vendors Network or server so you need to be careful when downloading and setting up the app and the web link for your users. The problem of interacting with third party application and VDI, without leaving our own network and without expending much on the infrastructure to integrate their systems to ours. It allows the third party companies to access your company's resources and softwares. What do you dislike about Citrix Gateway? Transfer between WiFi or other network interruptions can end or suspend the session meaning a logout and login must be redone. Currently, we use Citrix NetScaler Access Gateway as a VPN client and an extranet client. The entire company uses this software for these purposes.
