"Big Time-Saver"
3.5/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

It saves us significant time from having to clip/record media coverage. It also means we can produce weekly or monthly reports with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

There are occasions when some of our coverage hasn't been picked up, however the team at Cision are usually onto this anomalies promptly and can usually ensure it is resolved. It's handy having an Account Manager to go to rather than frustrating customer services as you frequently encounter at other companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI, Rich Integrations, and Friendly Support"
5/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use. Integrations are plentiful and include all major social media channels. The support team is friendly, easily accessible, and quick to help with platform onboarding and troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

The service is fairly pricey, but I'd hesitate to label that as a dislike — this is truly a case where you get what you pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful PR Tools, But Too Expensive and Hard to Cancel"
2.5/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

Cision offers a platfrom that isn't just a media list but also tools to make pitches and write releases etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

There are no pricing options. It's a very expensive tool for small organizations, especially nonprofits. Users also need to be aware they bill automatically and don't allow you to cancel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Journalist Outreach with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

I like the amount of information available when you export a list. I also like that you can organize your workspace and customize visibility among team members. This helps our team ensure we're not reaching out to the same person more than once unless we intend to, and it makes sharing successful leads with each other easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

I don't like the recent updates where you have to click into a reporter's profile to find basic information such as when they last published an article. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michalea Enmark of CisionOne

Hi Emily,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the export functionality and workspace settings are supporting your team’s workflow, helping you collaborate more effectively and avoid duplicate outreach.

We also appreciate you flagging your thoughts on the recent reporter profile updates, and this has been shared with our product team.

"Great Data Insights, But UX and Integrations Need Improvement"
1.5/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

The data which it provides! Clients have concsistently complimented the data which the product has been able to provide and the insights which it can gather from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

I think that the UX could be improved, and it would be good to see more intergrations with tools such as slack (unsure if this exists but flagging intergrations would be good)( Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One PR Tool That Saves Time and Simplifies Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

What I like most about CisionOne is how much time it saves me. Instead of bouncing between different tools for monitoring, outreach, and reporting, it’s all in one place. That alone makes a big difference in day-to-day work.

I also really appreciate how easy it is to track coverage and pull reports. When you need to quickly show results to a client or your team, the dashboards make it simple and clear. And the media database is solid - it makes finding the right journalists feel less overwhelming.

Overall, it just makes PR work feel more organized and manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

If I’m being honest, there are a few things that can be frustrating about CisionOne.

Sometimes the platform can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. There are so many features and filters that it can take time to learn where everything is and how to get the most out of it. The interface isn’t always as intuitive as it could be.

Search results can also require a lot of refining. If your keywords aren’t set up just right, you can end up with irrelevant mentions and spend extra time cleaning things up.

And while the reporting tools are helpful, customizing reports exactly the way you want can sometimes feel limited or a bit clunky.

Overall, it’s a powerful tool - but there’s definitely a learning curve, and it could be smoother in terms of usability and precision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michalea Enmark of CisionOne

Hi there,

Thank you for such a detailed review. It’s great to hear that having monitoring, outreach, and reporting in one place is making your day-to-day work more efficient and organized. The built-in analytics and shareable reports seem to make it easier to communicate outcomes and provide clarity to stakeholders.

You also shared thoughtful feedback around usability, refining search results, and report customization. We’ve made sure this input is shared with our product team as we continue improving the overall experience and usability of the platform.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave such comprehensive feedback.

"Helpful Onboarding and Intuitive UI, but Confusing Terminology and Credit Anxiety"
3/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

The team is helpful with onboarding and takes a very thorough approach. I believe the look and feel of the product interface is quite intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

Our team uses a portion of the platform for a very specific use so it's hard to speak to the full product suite. I do find that they use varying nomenclature that can be confusing and the site can be intimidating to click around without fearing you're going to use up credits. We don't use their AI integrations though not sure how any AI powered capabilities could be useful for the way we use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michalea Enmark of CisionOne

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re pleased to hear that your onboarding experience has been positive and that the platform feels intuitive for your team while building media lists.

We also appreciate you calling out the areas that feel less clear, particularly around terminology and overall confidence when navigating the platform.

This has been shared internally, and if helpful, your Cision team would be happy to walk you through the AI features in the platform and how they may support your workflow.

Thanks again for your input.

"Efficient Media Monitoring with Easy Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about CisionOne?

I like using CisionOne for media monitoring. It saves me time by letting me see coverage in titles I wouldn't check on my own. I really like the launchpad area; it's great that I can see different clients on one page. It's very convenient to see different metrics for different clients on the same page without clicking around. Switching to CisionOne from regular Cision was a quick and easy transfer, which made the setup process smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CisionOne?

Sometimes coverage can be missed. But, this is fixed easily by contacting cision directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
