## Webex Suite Reviews
  ### 1. Flexible Yet Finicky for Remote Work

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica C. | Microcredential Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I really like the ability of Webex Suite to put an office phone line on my cell phone or computer. It lets me take work calls from anywhere without forwarding them to my personal cell phone or giving out my personal number. It's great to take what would traditionally be the desk phone line with me wherever I go.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Webex Suite is kind of a finicky platform, especially the app on my personal cell phone, which can be hit or miss. Sometimes it works flawlessly, but other times I can't get it to make a call out. While there are no issues with inbound calls, it struggles with outbound calls. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy at all; it was a pain.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Webex Suite for video calls and phone services, allowing hybrid and remote employees to work flexibly. It lets us take calls anywhere without giving out personal numbers, keeping communication seamless and professional.

  ### 2. Secure but Needs a Modern Interface

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasiia B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I appreciate Webex Suite's strong security protocols, which provide me with confidence that our calls are secure and that our data is not leaked or misused. This feature is particularly valuable in my company where data protection is a significant concern, making Webex Suite a preferred choice for secure communication.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The service is frustratingly slow and the interface design feels outdated and difficult to navigate. It's challenging to use because of these issues. The raised hands feature is also not sufficiently visible, which adds to the difficulty.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Webex Suite for secure video conferencing and meetings, ensuring our data isn't leaked, which helps connect with people safely.

  ### 3. Frequent Glitches Undermine an Otherwise User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Intake Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

It’s friendly to users and it’s very simple at the moment you need to create channels or chats with members of your team

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Too many glitches and the system would fail from time to time and needed to be restarted

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant messaging with team members and channels to post instructions or updates

  ### 4. Not the best meeting platform

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I have to use it for some clients, but I would rather use zoom

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Seems like it takes longer to connect
It is not as intuitive as other video meeting platforms.
It seems to take more bandwidth (could be only an impression, not reality)

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Certain clients use Webex, so I have to use it.

  ### 5. Other suites provide good enough experience now

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The upsides are enterprise scale software and some particular business-focussed features

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

it's overly complicated for what it does - google meet and zoom handle it all much better

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving at a distance communication and sharing of information in a live audiovisual setting

  ### 6. Good UI but..

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I am using it just because it is used by my client. It has a good UI and fresh look as compared to Slack and Teams. It has lot of features similar to other competitors but whenit comes to video call it is not upto the mark.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Vurtual background makes video all blurr and since most of the time we work from home and need virtual bg it forces me to close my camera.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual background in the video. Also when we switch on video I need to make it to mirror mode manually everytime. It is not storing the settings like this.

  ### 7. Webex app is the best in the digital world

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarun K. | Artist , Arts and Crafts, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Webex app is different from other apps in terms of integration with other collaboration tools. What makes it different and better than other apps is in terms of video conferencing. This app provides good quality video and audio quality and also includes features like screen sharing, virtual meeting etc.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Sometimes video and audio quality gets degraded while using Webex app.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webex app allows people sitting at home to connect on a large scale, which is of great help to teachers, students and businesses.

  ### 8. Webex is the worst video-conferencing system that I have used.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar Daniel Z. | Senior Angular Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Actually I can't say that I like something, maybe just that is pretty stable but is horrible in general terms, so not too much to like about this.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Actually, I dislike almost everything.

It doesn't have web support like Discord, Google Meets/Hangouts, Teams, Slack, or others...
If you try to use it in Linux is a horrible path to do it.
If you try to use it in Android the interface is ugly and it always gets stuck
It doesn't have a "Raise hand"
You need to install it even if you don't want to...
Inside the interface, you can't even use the chat with a good UX and you send the message to everyone without knowing it...
I really hate this system

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not solving actually any problems, we used it because we had a partner with Cisco so we have lower prices in their products, now we move out to Google Hangouts instead

  ### 9. Clunky, old fashioned, confusing

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom H. | IT Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The integration with Cisco Jabber is a nice touch

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It feels old fashioned and I do not feel confident using it. Whether it's disconnections, poor quality or host roles not being assigned properly.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It isn't

  ### 10. Gets the basic job done

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanishq D. | Business Technology Solutions Associate , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Gets the basic things done like joining calls.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Always has issues with slow net connections, The UX of the app does not feel natural and user has to struggle through the menu for basic tasks.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in provinding solution for instant chat and video/audio conferencing

  ### 11. I found this app very useful until the widespread popularity of Microsoft Teams.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad I. | Manager, Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Ease of collaboration, convenience of using the app - easy navigation etc.
I used this app prior to MS Teams and it was game changer for me at that as it enhanced productivity for me big time!

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

I mus say it is a heavy application that is to state that it is resource heavy. You need to have a good bandwidth/internet speed connection for it to work seemlessly. The application is inherently slow in my opinion.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease with which you can collaborate across multiple teams/crossfunctional departments internally (within the organanization) or externally(outside the org) was one of the problem that WebEx App certainly did solve for me. The ability to do video conferencing and other features like screen share is a game changer.

  ### 12. Not that great, but usable

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tirthesh K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Provides an alternative video conferencing solution.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The app is very slow and with multiple participants, the app does not function properly. As compared to similar apps like Zoom and GMeet, the app seems subpar. More importantly, the user interface is not friendly and a new user would need a tutorial to use it.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Video Conferencing which involves meetings, screen sharing, calling multiple participants, etc.

  ### 13. Can be ok

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Easy to invite people to. Easy to join remote.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Clunky and outdated user interface. needs a facelift

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

how to bring together people in a virtual world.

  ### 14. Reliable but

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

WebEx is for sure reliable and it has been around for much longer than competition. WebEx is more focused on business a d professional use

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

WebEx is a heavy software compared to others similar function. Kinda takes longe to start meetings
Also, the UI is not very friendly. So when you're screen sharing, it's really hard to find the chat feature for example.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual meetings , webinars and collaborations with colleagues, with support whether to give or to get support...etc. It is pretty efficient

  ### 15. Online meetings and virtual conferencing solution

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel G. | Assistant residence engineer, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The tool is easy to use and does a great job in helping hold virtual meetings but the intergration takes time and has room for improvement.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The customer support also needs to be more responsive as well and the features needs improvement

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webex Meetings is solemly to help us hold meetings and conferences online and interaction with our members virtually

  ### 16. Good, but could be better.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia B. | Freelance Makeup Artist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

It was very helpful during Covid-19. As we were primarily online for all work, it helped us connect and was an easy enough format for all employees to be able to join and connect.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It was a little basic in format. I felt as though there could have been more to it to make it more engaging and innovative. It just felt like every other online meeting application.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was really great during Covid-19 when we were having issues with connecting and completing work independently. Our company saw it as a way for human connection in a disjointed time.

  ### 17. Effortful and difficult for a layman

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidya S. | Assistant Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

What I liked most about Webex Meetings was that it would keep the meeting recordings for us when we need to remember to record in other software. That facility helped me a lot with my classes.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It is too complicated and technical for a beginner or a person with poor technical knowledge. They could've made it simple and user-friendly like other apps we use. When we learn all the requirements for a meeting, we will feel exhausted.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a lot of security and safeguards our privacy. Webex is the right choice if you are conducting a confidential meeting with a closed group. I have been using Webex for my classes during the Pandemic; it has helped a lot not to worry about uninvited interventions.

  ### 18. An old technology playing catch up with the new entrants

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

It is useful to have if you need to do meetings with large enterprises with legacy meetings

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It is slow to start when using and isn't as intuitive and easy to use as the modern platforms

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me save money not having to travel halfway across the world to talk to people

  ### 19. Not very user friendly

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Io P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The interface and the look feels modern and simple, at first

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It shouldnt be so complicated to figure out how to instal, and connect to a webex meeting. too many codes, too many log in requests for just one meeting.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For meetings with vendors or external partners, helps if one party doesnt have a subscription or wants to quickly connect on the road

  ### 20. Webex based meetings are no fun

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan S. | Security Operations Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Webex is one of the first runners when it comes to video conferencing tools. Webex started when they had very few or fewer competitors. There are not many things that I like about Webex. It is just another video conferencing tool/software. Webex is still used in the industry, and they have a good chunk of enterprise customers/user base. It is suitable for conducting Webinars where there is a need for high audio and video quality. The list of participants is easy to view.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Webex is not simple and easy. The UI is not self-interactive and might be challenging even for power users. I feel their aesthetics have become old and outdated. The main thing I dislike about Webex is that it asks you to log in every time. It does not have a single session, and you cannot leave it logged in on its thin client. When sharing a screen or application, it isn't easy to see or find your video/audio options. The list of maximum allowed participants for a single meeting is less than what Zoom supports. There is no easy integration of Webex plugins with other tools like Slack.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technically, it is not helping me solve problems. Whenever I go on a Webex-based meeting, it starts to update and slows down my process of joining the discussion. We use it only when we have to meet with an external audience like clients or customers. It solves the purpose of meeting with customers and clients as it still has many users.

  ### 21. Doesn't always work

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew H. | Voice of the Customer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like the ability to message everyone that I need to. It is suitable for instant messaging coworkers and sharing screenshots of work to collaborate effectively.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The program does not always want to function correctly, and sometimes it will give error messages that do not make sense. You have to restart the program to make it work.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows my colleagues and me to instant message when we are not at the same office. We are also able to video chat when we need to have virtual meetings with multiple people.

  ### 22. Good concept, bad implementation, bad testing and creativity, bad keeping up with competition

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Most features that are implemented that work

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

This is one of those applications where you hope to God that it stays working because when it doesn't, you have no recourse. Cisco might want to find a different angle now since MS Teams has monopolized this space. Maybe scale it down to just a desktop phone. Concentrate on improving your applications on desktop and mobile devices so they are better than MS Teams. No need to put advanced MS Teams like features in Webex Teams anymore. No one is going to have conference calls or meetings in Cisco Webex Teams since it would be scattering information in many places and this game is all about keeping information together and connected.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Consider MS Teams instead

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support with Webex Meetings. Conference Calls. Phone dialing and phone logs. Yes, like I said earlier, the features that do work, make me productive. When they don't work, I got no recourse, I usually end up finding a replacement product to fill in the gap.

  ### 23. WebEx is Okay...

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like how user-friendly the WebEx format is, making it easy to join meetings, whether with video or only audio.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

I dislike the constant noise WebEx makes when people join or exit the meeting. It's an annoying "beep" sound that other platforms like Zoom don't have and are better because of it.
It's also not at all attractive of a platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

I personally would choose Zoom any day over Webex. The only advantage I see it having over Zoom is the lack of meeting minute limits.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With every use of the WebEx app, I try to make the experience of the meeting most convenient and streamlined as possible for others in the meeting. Each meeting platform is different (Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc) and WebEx can be a challenge to use for those who are more familiar with Zoom. This means there is simple problem solving to do such as helping others navigate to chat or mute buttons.
Benefits include the ease of scheduling and sharing meeting links, which is helpful when time between meetings can be short, and you are going between platforms.

  ### 24. Too many challenges

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I don't even know what I would describe as helpful regarding anything related to my WebEx Meetings experience.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

We first started using WebEx meetings over 2 years ago, when we needed a conferencing service for our growing nonprofit. The things I disliked were the challenges we experienced with users being able to easily connect and the sound quality of the calls. Oh, the sound quality! It was awful! We experienced horrible echo chambers and strange electronic noises during the calls. As frustrated as we were as a group of friends using this to hold our nonprofit board meetings, it would have been even more embarrassing if we were trying to use this format to recruit new talent or make a formal presentation.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 25. With all the superior options, why voluntarily pick something so frustrating?

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben H. | Sales Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

There's nothing truly remarkable about Webex Teams. It's a chat/collaboration/meeting/call app like every other one. It works fine. It's stable. They do pretty frequent updates. But aside from that, there are a LOT of frustrating factors. I can't think of a single feature where I'm like "wow!! That's unique and awesome!"

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

PLENTY! So beyond it just being relatively unremarkable in its own right, it is missing some key features found in MS Team, Zoom, Slack... First, let's talk about screen sharing... if you don't have a great screen sharing tool today, you just don't compete! Who ISN'T sharing their screen most of the day? From meeting to meeting to meeting, call to call (internal and external)... this has to be rock solid. It is not. First -- they have limited sharing options. You can share your entire screen or extra monitors. You can share an entire application. You CANNOT share a single window of say Edge or Chrome. You CANNOT share a single tab. I am guilty of having 4 - 6 windows of Edge running at once. If I pick to share Edge -- it shares ALL of them. WHO needs that feature?! So that's a HUGE issue. But then let's talk about the control once you DO start sharing a screen. Webex then puts a drop-down slide at the top of that screen. You can drag that around and move it (Windows just hides everything), so that's relatively ok. But...ALL of your controls, clickable things, options -- they are all in that drop-down now. The chat window completely disappears. You have to go to the drop-down, then go to the ellipses ("...") and THEN select "chat." SO many clicks to get the chat open that was open a few minutes ago. Also -- and this is fun -- when you share, it takes the other video feeds of attendees, parses into a new micro window itself, leaving a "meeting" page with nothing going on. So you now end up with like 3 different focal areas when you share a screen -- your focused screen, your other attendees in a new window you likely will resize, and a useless, giant black box that says "you're sharing your screen" -- no kidding! It is TERRIBLE. Why would anyone choose to implement this? If you have enterprise MS licenses, you get MS Teams. Not to mention all of the natively integrated features in MS for O365 products. Now -- I think Slack is a whole other playing field. But a direct comparison of MS Teams and Webex -- Webex is like the Jamaican bobsled team trying to win gold in Calgary.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Evaluate other solutions as thoroughly as possible, look at video reviews online for honest opinions. It's not all bad, but there are definitely better options -- often for less money.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal communication, collaboration, calls (internal and external), file sharing in realtime, asynchronous and synchronous conversations are all features of Webex.

  ### 26. Bulky solution that has unintuitive controls and looks ugly

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

generally a stable video conferencing solution if you let it hijack your computer

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

not too many features to begin with, not super user-friendly

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

my work is now fully remote so we need to meet virtually

  ### 27. Slow program with potential

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela L. | Part Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The program has a lot of amazing features that can be extremely useful. Also, it's easy to install and to use.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It freezes a lot and makes the experience very slow!

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was trying to find a free and complete video platform. Webex makes it possible, but has issues.

  ### 28. An economical and entry level meeting app

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaryan S. | Project Engineer - Turbo, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The ease of connectivity of people in your organisation and outside of your organisation is the main advantage of this app. It's very easy and user friendly app for new joinees who are yet to be officially part of organisation.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Lack of features is where this app gets behind the likes of Microsoft teams etc. The UI/UX of the app is very conventional and doesn't seem interactive. Detailed information is not displayed for the joinees.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using this application to interact with the upcoming freshers in my project as well as the interns because this app is fairly easy for them to connect with me. It's hassle free and doesn't require a work email id mandatorily.

  ### 29. Webex App Experience

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Webex has been great at hosting some of our larger meetings throughout the year. It has had little to no technical difficulties when it comes to hosting our larger groups. Since COVID we have bounced around different companies to find the one best fit for our larger meetings and always seem to come back to Webex.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

At the beginning of the usage, it was a little difficult to get it going and understand the functions. As a guest at times, I wasn't sure where the "share your Screen" was. Over time we have gotten used to all the different functions.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had better control over our meetings when compared to other programs. For example, controlling who enters the meeting space and muting all the lines. These are features many other programs do not have.

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Itis functional. I like how I can stay logged in on both my computer and phone so that I can easily switch between the two devices. Other than that, I am not a huge fan of

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It's user interface is so poor. Zoom is much preferred. I enjoy the breakout rooms and polling features that it as, as well as the webinar vs. meeting options.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Use Zoom instead!

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of being able to attend classes online with the WebEx app. I have realized that it is possible to take college courses remotely through this platform.

  ### 32. Good enough

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan S. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

It's easy to install and has all the basics you need to use to charter with coworkers

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Many things are those that I do not like:
The audio in video calls must be configured each time one connects.
It is not easy to send a link to connect online.
UX is not understood, I do not understand how to make a group video call.
Chat history is not saved.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Try to check it well cause doesn't have all the regular functionalities.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the safest means of communication that the company has and that is why we use it, when this changes we will surely use another.

  ### 33. WebEx Review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miaya G. | Accounts Receivable Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The most helpful thing about Web ex is that you can join quite a few people and that it is user friendly. You can use it via phone, computer, tablet so it makes it quite useful and convenient if your constantly on the go.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Webex can be a challenging platform to some. It can be hard for even the most veteran users because you have to be let into the meeting by an admin and it can difficult when trying to mute and unmute sometimes. The interface could use work as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Make sure you read up on WebEx before you use it or it can quite frustrating.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My only problem is the time it takes sometimes to get into the meeting and that sometimes if there are too many in the meeting it starts to drop people out of the meeting.

  ### 34. Good but not the best in the business

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Multiple features for almost all video conferencing needs scheduled meetings long meetings centralized control in meetings withe super user access unlike MS teams and Zoom

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Very less video playback options on recorded meetings also the quality and size of video is not very impressive
Even faced issues with mute/unmute options while on full-screen

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Use if you want to control every single member in meeting or if you have large number of participants

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faced interview, received online training via this app but the experience was mostly good but coud be better by solving few basic issues

  ### 35. Clunky

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Most corporates use it because of security and integration into legacy systems

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It's clunky and slow compared to other services like Zoom.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Videoconferencing

  ### 36. Webex did not offer the same services that we now have.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The ease of use was a plus, and calandering meeting was able to intergrate with both Google and Office.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The cost of the product and the licencesing.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It deffinately helped with users being able to work remotely and keep us moving forward during the pandemic.

  ### 37. Clunky and Old School

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Senior Manager, Finance - Franchise Planning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Cisco Jabber has a very simple user interface and is really quick to learn how to use. It is reliable for one on one chats and conversations. The ability to screen share is a bonus.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Cisco Jabber is great for one on one conversations but it is really clunky for multi-person discussions. If someone dropped out of a chat they could never come back, and chats were not saved for reference.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jabber was intended to cut down on emails. Since multi-person discussions were not saved, it really didn't accomplish that goal. Most discussions had to be documented via email just in case.

  ### 38. there are better work messaging / calling softwares out there

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

probably the only thing that I like about jabber is that it connects to my office phone number, so I can receive calls to my computer. this was especially helpful when we were remote during the pandemic. I also now get my voicemails sent to my email address.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

we work in multiple offices in different cities, and you can only send photos to people who are on the same internet as you. if we are in the office, it's fine and we can send photos to others in the office. we cannot send photos to someone in our other offices though. this is extrememly frustrating! we usually end up emailing or using a different software to send photos.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

problems - sending photos, links and documents. benefits - receiving calls to my computer when I'm out of the office

  ### 39. Webex is an okay video conferencing app, but could improve for frequent users

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer N. | Program Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like the ability to have a very large amount of participants join a call without much issue, as well as the amount of unlimited time that can be held for a meeting. This is a great benefit for both users and non-users, who are able to join the call through their phones without having to make an account. Additionally, it's very enjoyable that regardless of the number of participants and the duration of time a meeting is being held, for the most part, the quality of video and audio is relatively consistent and not jumpy which I've experienced as an issue with other video conference platforms. Setting up and scheduling meetings is also super convenient and easy to do, with no complications. A big plus with setting up meetings with Webex is that it also easily sends out an email invitation to anyone you'd like to join, making it seamless to send out invites to both people in your organization and people outside of it.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

I dislike how upon arrival of participants, as well as when participants unmute/mute themselves, there's a sound that rings - it can be disruptive to the call when people are speaking and distracting. Additionally, the quality of the audio and video can be a bit lacking at times, despite participants having a good internet connection. I believe that Webex should remove the sound of participants muting/unmuting themselves altogether, especially since it is very loud and bothersome to participants. In terms of the mobile app, it can be a bit difficult to log in and out at first and set up your account in general. Also, the navigation fo webex overall both on the desktop and mobile app is not very intuitive, and takes a bit of practice to get used to.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently using Webex Meetings to meet with people outside of my organization easier, as I am able to call and host meetings without time constraints unlike other platforms like Zoom. I enjoy the accessibility that's offered by Webex for non-users as well, as the people I've met with outside my organization have not had any issues with joining calls at all.

  ### 40. Not the "Go to"

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne J. | A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Webex design is pretty user-friendly, time zone planner is nice. I like the language channel also.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Seems to take a longer time to get into a meeting, not as many features built in, not as intuitive to use.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interpreter functions are useful.

  ### 41. I do not have very good experience using webex meetings

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvia G. | freelance translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I do not even know, since I do not really like webex.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Booking meetings via the web interface gives participants the 'classic' interface when they try to join. If the host hasn't yet arrived, that means a greyed-out button on a page that doesn't refresh even after the host has joined. Sometimes it just says the meeting number is wrong or invalid. Why? Because Webex, that's why.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

I personally do not like that I have to wait to be let in the meeting. Sometimes it does not work properly, sometimes it does. Also the audio quality is sometimes so bad and I do not know why.The Hybrid Calendar functionality (sending an invite with @webex in the Location field and letting Webex auto-populate) sends out two invites. One which is blank, and one which is filled with Webex content. Sometimes these appear 5+ minutes apart from one another, making the sender look like they screwed up and re-sent.If you book a recurring meeting (through the Outlook plugin, after we told everybody to start using desktop apps due to Issue 1), the first meeting will run fine. Every subsequent recurrence might give you one of the following scenarios:

The meeting is listed in the app, but the Start button disappears. Every participant gets a notice when trying to join that the meeting has been cancelled, even though the host can go to the web and start it.

The meeting is listed in the app, but the Start button disappears. It's cancelled for everybody, even the host. Why?

The meeting is listed in the app, the Start button appears, the meeting starts, but every participant trying to join gets told that it's cancelled.

The meeting is listed in the app, the Start button appears, but it's cancelled for everyone, even the host.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have some meetings via Webex due to covid; however I do not see any benefits. I also used webex for my interviews, which works pretty well. I do not need to rush or be nervous about finding the place and so on. Companies usually send me a link via e-mail with the exact date and time, which is automaticlly copied to my calendar and to my phone as well. This makes it very easy for me not to forget nad keep in mind when is the meeting happening. To join the meeting I just click on the link from the email. It is nice that I can see myself and allow my camera and mic on before I enter the meeting. THe annoying part is that I have to wait to be let in the meeting. Sometimes I mute myself using the WebEx mute feature. When I do it, WebEx puts me in a perfect mute. Not a single decibel is coming from my line. In WebEx window, my name box never gets selected/highlighted, meaning my line is truly muted.

  ### 42. WebEx Review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like that it allows us to speak and see each other's faces.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

It doesn't replicate being in person, but it's better than nothing.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

It's better than only speaking over the phone.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People won't mute themselves. Benefits, at least you can see the other person's facial expression to tell their reaction to what you're saying.

  ### 43. We kept webex 41 (phone), but opted for Teams instead as an interview platform.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan T. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The phone function of Webex is near flawless. Webex meetings are reliable and always connect wihtuot issue.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Recruiters often make the human error (isnt that what we humans do, err?) not to change resources and make the hiring manager the host. Then the interviewer cant get in, nor can the applicant. This is the sole reason that I chose to use Team instead.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webex phone is a great, money saving alternative to cell phones for all remote employees.

  ### 45. Adequate for some specific situations...

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin S. | Sales Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Does what it says on the tin, the video meetings generally work. It can host very large meetings without much delay, which is the primary reason for its use in the company. The video and audio quality are generally decent. It has customization options that are useful for large meetings or talks.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

The constant beeping of people joining is maddening. I know there's probably some way to turn it off but who has time in the midst of a meeting to play around with it. The audio settings are wonky on windows and the volume doesn't seem to adjust with the normal volume control panel. It classifies itself as like voice/telephone. Very annoying. Certainly, less slick than other options and lacks many convenient features. Generally, a more annoying counterpart of other programs that I only need when it's mandatory.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

I only use this program when I absolutely need to. It's generally better at handling large meetings, confrences, or announcements and seems to have good underlying connectivity or prioritization engineering. It's everything else that's annoying, the UI is lackluster, the default beeping is incredibly irritating, and there's a lack of quality of life features. The audio set up is another odd quirk to this program, it's hard actually to change the volume on it! CIsco should simply license out their underlying tech to others and abolish this annoying 2nd rate banana.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to organize and host company wide (aka large) meetings other programs struggle to do this. I've used Cisco Webex to attend virtual seminars which is a positive.

  ### 46. Webex used to be the best available...

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The Cisco name carries a lot of weight. Poorly-informed users and clients who are unwilling to use Zoom or GoToMeeting may be less afraid to connect to a Webex session.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

In my extensive experience, unskilled users/participants in secure environments have extreme difficulty connecting to Webex meetings. Webex's native audio quality is horrendous compared to other offerings, such as Zoom.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

As I've said, they used to be the best. However, there are a number of other players that have made significant strides -- so much so that they've surpassed Cisco Webex. And Webex is incredibly expensive when compared to the other offerings. It's really important to realize the Cisco Webex's audio quality is horrendous at times -- Zoom and Teams are both consistently far better.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many participants are unable to install the required components. The 'run a temporary application' option is balky at best.

It used to be our #1 choice for software demos and training sessions. May 2021 update: we've canceled our Webex contract and have moved to Zoom and Teams.

  ### 47. Works but...

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

Webex does the job of holding meetings and screen sharing. You can make open rooms or private meetings

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

I’ve had a lot of trouble with the audio and getting in to meetings. Rooms are also frustrating if you don’t set them up well.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting classes and office hours. Overall it works, and it is improving

  ### 48. Great for those who don't want to download Zoom, silly for everyone else

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby C. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like that it's browser based, aka you don't need an app. But that's honestly about it. I really can't think of many positives except for the fact that you don't need an app. It's also nice because you can use it on Safari, whereas Zoom tends to work better on Google Chrome or Firefox.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

I really dislike that it doesn't notify you when people join the meetings except for when you have your camera on. The screen-sharing function has worked maybe twice without having to end and restart the meeting. For meetings of more than 5-6 people, there is substantial lag. The only thing this was useful for was product demos where another organization had to share their screen and just talk at us. For any sort of conversation, it was pretty bad.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

Again, only use if you must.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, Cisco Webex Meetings are easier than Zoom because you don't need the app for screen sharing, specifically. However, that's really the only plus. If the other party simply downloads the Zoom app (you don't even need to have the paid version) they can share their screen.

So, the only people I would recommend Cisco Webex Meetings for are the really tech-illiterate who don't want to be having a conversation, just a presentation. Better for webinars than mettings, in other words.

  ### 49. Cisco Jabber Is Bad

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

The interface is relatively straightforward, which I do like. Compared to teams and zoom, I like cisco's interface better.

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Cisco, to me, is very outdated. With better communication platforms like Teams or Zoom, there's no point in using Cisco.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interface is relatively straightforward, which I do like. Compared to teams and zoom, I like cisco's interface better.

  ### 50. Crawling Webex

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G. | Assistant Football Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Webex Suite?**

I like the scheduling ability that easily can go out to all colleagues in a group

**What do you dislike about Webex Suite?**

Take up a lot of processing power that creates a crawling slow interface and experience.

**Recommendations to others considering Webex Suite:**

I would look at alternative solutions like zoom first if possible. Webex is not as user friendly.

**What problems is Webex Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Was useful for company meetings during pandemic
