If enough money is available, go through Cisco routers immediately. Another important point is to clearly determine before purchasing the device, choose the router set, IOS and licenses that will meet your requirements. What problems is Cisco Routers solving and how is that benefiting you?

The router in the company is a 2800 series and has worked perfectly in the network, guaranteeing the service to the employees. Likewise, the configuration of the same and the administration with the ADSM is perfect and allows to manage the traffic of the network in an optimal way. What do you like best about Cisco Routers?

Scalability. From small site (35MB) 4221 to large (3G throughout) 4461 models.

What do you dislike about Cisco Routers?

For Cisco SD-WAN, specifically, the routers do not yet support all the same functions (i.e. Voice).

One reason Cisco keeps winning (in our books) is the use of different ASICs for different functions. This keeps throughout unaffected by other features activated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WAN routing. Migrating these same devices to SD-WAN as possible is a cost-saving measure (not having to replace hardware to change to SD-WAN). Additional visibility allows for improved monitoring and troubleshooting (application aware, etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
