It thought me how to connect, configure abd practice for the real world. I learned how to connect and assign everything and organize the items in a way that most suitable for a specific situation. What do you like best about Cisco Packet Tracer?

I appreciate the fact that there is a bunch of new devices that can be implemented in simulations. the ease of which you can deploy devices is the key in the use of this software. Also you can add a lot of different modules into the devices which add another layer into the different scenarios you can create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Packet Tracer?

i don't like the fact that since a couple of update ago you have to create an account so you can use the software. Also the lack of features in switching configuration is the downside. You can have a more complete experience using an emulator like GNS3 instead of a simulator like cisco packet tracer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its a great starting tool in networking, you can implement various scenarios with ease. Also it is free and you have a great community that can help you with your doubts. Cisco Packet tracer solves the lack of physical equipment that a student would need to prepare for a career in networking. What do you like best about Cisco Packet Tracer?

The new UI design and the new trainings tools, also the compatibility since I was an old packet tracer user that came back after more than 5 years, I can still configure like I used to but with a new clean design, glad you didn't change it abruptly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For users that used to work with PT, I can tell you it's still easy to use, there's many new functionalities but overall the experience is the same.
