"Effortless Network Management with Cisco Meraki"
5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Meraki?

I really like how Cisco Meraki is a single platform where we can manage all of our network and equipment. It's easy to manage wireless configurations and allows us to introduce new VLANs and manage SSIDs easily. The system includes portals for accepting terms and conditions, which simplifies management. I appreciate being able to see all of the LLDP information from the switches, knowing what's plugged in where, and what's currently being utilized from client health and other perspectives. The initial setup was really easy, it's pretty much plug and play. You just enter serial numbers, click through a couple of options for SSIDs, and you're good to go. What do you dislike about Cisco Meraki?

The way the SSO works with your 365 on the Meraki portal is quite a pain to move to. Having to remove yourself from every single individual company that you've been invited to before you can enable SSO, and then having to enable SSO on all of those other companies, that needs to be reviewed, really. "Easy, Single-Pane Management for Site-to-Site VPNs to Azure and WAN Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Meraki?

Extremely easy to manage! So nice to see everything all in one single pane of glass.

We primarily use these for setting up Site to Site VPNs to Azure and the process is significantly easier than setting up any other firewall we've used in the past! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Meraki?

The pricing on the licensing is the biggest pain point for sure, but it's an enterprise-grade firewall, so it's to be expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Management with Reliable Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Meraki?

I appreciate Cisco Meraki for its centralized cloud dashboard, which makes managing firewalls, VPN, and network policies incredibly simple and efficient across both head office and branch regions. The real-time visibility and alerts provided by Meraki, along with its robust security features, significantly reduce troubleshooting time and enhance overall network stability. I also find the initial setup process to be very straightforward, with zero-touch provisioning and a smooth configuration experience thanks to the cloud dashboard. Once the VLANs and security policies are fine-tuned, ongoing management becomes extremely easy. Cisco Meraki has proven essential in managing and securing our entire network infrastructure across multiple locations, providing reliable VPN access, traffic visibility, and automated failover to keep our environment secure and stable. What do you dislike about Cisco Meraki?

The costing for Cisco Meraki can be an issue, as some advanced features require additional licenses. The reporting capabilities feel limited compared to other enterprise tools. I think Cisco Meraki could benefit from offering deeper analytics, more granular firewall rules, and improved VPN performance. Also, firmware controls could be better. It makes setup, implementation, and day-to-day use incredibly straightforward, and it lets our team manage multiple sites from a single pane of glass. What do you dislike about Cisco Meraki?

The “no license, no work” policy can feel a bit stressful, especially during renewal periods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
