"Super Easy 2FA Install That Adds Strong Security Across Email and Devices"
4/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

Cisco Duo is a super easy install for 2FA. It provides an additional layer of security to our email and devices. We find that this works particularly well for all of the different kinds of users in our company, from people who have email only on phones all the way up to actual device log-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

One of the most frustrating aspects of DUO would be the use of offline codes. This company does not make it easy for the lament user to being to easily connect to the internet without the offline codes. It can be a disaster when people travel and need to connect to a device when there is zero internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I love how secure it feels for the apps that are linked so that it feels like no one can log in. It is also very easy to use and very easy to set up. It integrates wonderfully with other apps, such as Instagram. When I was in graduate school, I used it a lot! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

When I am signing in to a website which uses Duo on my laptop, I have to have my phone nearby to sign in completely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Two-Factor Authentication with Cisco Duo"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I like that Cisco Duo makes two-factor authentication super easy by allowing me to hold the notification and click approve instantly, which is way easier and faster compared to other systems like Google or Amazon, where you have to open an app and find a six-digit code. I also remember the initial setup being super easy, involving just scanning a QR code and entering a username and password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

Not really. It's just that sometimes doing two factor authentication is annoying. Instead of just logging, I get to, like, pull my phone out and do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

Sometimes the login approval notification arrives slowly, or there is a timeout. It does not feel good, especially if you're in a hurry. The primary authentication relies on internet access. If there is poor connectivity or none, access can be blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Duo’s push notifications are faster than SMS codes and don’t require typing anything, which helps cut down login time. The self-service portal also reduces helpdesk tickets, since users can manage their own devices without needing IT intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

Duo ends up being a single point of failure: if the service goes down or my phone dies, I’m completely locked out of everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
