My first experience with Circula **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024 **What do you like best about Circula?** It like Circula's simplicity and clean interface. **What do you dislike about Circula?** Circula falls short of what I expected beyond the basics of uploading receipts and submitting reports. Here’s what I ran into: 1. There’s no obvious way to create a report — it took me a while to realize the “+” button in the bottom-right corner was what I needed. 2. If an expense gets rejected, I can’t just edit it. I have to start from scratch, reupload all the receipts, and re-enter all the details. a) There’s no option to add or remove receipts from a report once it’s created. b) Worse, once you create a report, the receipt storage clears out, so if you need to resubmit, you have to upload everything again. These issues make the whole process way more tedious than it should be. **What problems is Circula solving and how is that benefiting you?** To get reimbursed for my money ### 2. It looks modern and fancy. **What do you dislike about Circula?** + User expirience - not intuitive. I was struggling with creating a new expence. It was not intuitive, where I have to start. My plan was to create a folder for a trip and then add my expences there. In result I have got a separate folder and a separate expance of category 'trip'. + Translation Expence category 'trip' is translated in German as 'Reise'. That's why I've called my expence 'Berlin - Munich', which is not correct. If I knew from the beginning, that the expence I'm creating is the full bundle of travel and daily rate refund (Tagespauschale), I would call it differently. + Missing feature I could not rename my expence. **What problems is Circula solving and how is that benefiting you?** It should make easier to manage expences recipes for employees and expences refunds for finance office of my company. ### 3.
